Abstract: A geofence computing device, in communication with a user device and a payment processor, includes a memory and a processor in communication with the memory. The geofence computing device processor is configured to receive, from the user device, geofence data including a first user defined geofence zone having a first geographic area within a first geographic boundary, store the geofence data within the memory, receive, from the payment processor, from authorization request message transaction data representing a payment transaction initiated with a merchant by a cardholder associated with the payment processor, determine a geographic location of the merchant and a residence of the cardholder, compare the merchant geographic location and the cardholder residence geographic location to the first user defined geofence zone, and alert the user of the payment transaction based on the comparison. The transaction data includes at least one of a merchant location and a merchant identifier.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a method that includes sending a negotiating message from a user to one or more invitees using a messaging protocol, the negotiating message comprising one or more plans for a meeting, each plan including a time information and a location information for the meeting. The method further includes receiving, using the messaging protocol, one or more responses from the one or more invitees, the one or more responses indicating an approval or rejection of the one or more plans and determining based at least partially on the one or more responses received from the one or more invitees to book the event based on the received responses from the one or more invitees.

Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying topic coverage for a distribution platform that provides access to online content items. A set of topics that characterize subject matter of the online content items available via a system distribution platform may be obtained and individual ones of the content items may be associated with individual ones of the topics. Internal demand and/or external demand associated with the individual ones of the topics may be determined. Disparities between the internal demand and/or the external demand may be determined for individual ones of the content items. A graphical representation of the disparities determined may be generated.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for determining agricultural revenue is provided. The method uses an agricultural intelligence computer system in communication with a memory. The method includes receiving a plurality of field definition data, retrieving a plurality of input data from a plurality of data networks, determining a field region based on the field definition data, identifying a subset of the plurality of input data associated with the field region, calculating at least one yield projection for the field region based on the field definition data and the subset of the plurality of input data, and providing the at least one yield projection to a user device.

Abstract: A system is disclosed for managing services of a service vehicle. The system may have a locating device configured to generate a first signal indicative of a location of the service vehicle, and at least one sensor configured to generate a second signal indicative of a waste service being completed by the service vehicle. The system may further have a computing device in communication with the locating device and the at least one sensor. The computing device may be configured to receive a route assignment including waste services to be performed by the service vehicle at a plurality of target locations, and to make a determination that the service vehicle has stopped at a non-target location based on the plurality of target locations and at least one of the first and second signals. The computing device may further be configured to selectively generate an electronic response based on the determination.

The e-commerce system stores hop information describing when a customer is exposed to a product of a vendor through an affiliate who advertises the vendor's products. The e-commerce system determines from the stored hop information which affiliate or affiliates to compensate for the sale of a product. This allows the e-commerce system to determine, after the sale, whether additional affiliates need to be compensated for the sale of the product based on the hop information.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for spawning and management of online surveys is provided. An administration and redirector subsystem (ARS) is used manage ongoing surveys for a plurality of sites. Surveys can be added to or removed from individual sites using the ARS. The ARS also tracks statistics for individual surveys. Redirector tags invite users to participate in surveys and track user survey participation through cookies. The system can be used to conduct advertisement effectiveness studies. Tracker tags and corresponding cookies are used to track users who have viewed content containing the tag. Each study is issued a unique content tag, but uses the same redirector tag.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for dispensing a product or sample in response to the detection of a selected facial expression such as a smile. A computerized device having a camera and utilizing facial recognition and facial expression determining software is connected to a mechanical dispensing unit to dispense one product sample to a customer during a predetermined period of time such as one day.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides techniques for calculating an entity's cybersecurity risk based on identified relationships between the entity and one or more vendors. Customer/vendor relationships may impact the cybersecurity risk for each of the parties involved because a security compromise of a downstream or upstream provider can lead to a compromise of multiple other companies. For example, if organization A uses B (e.g., a cloud service provider) to store files, and B is compromised, this may lead to organization A being compromised (e.g., the files organization A stored using B may have been compromised by the breach of B's cybersecurity). Embodiments of the present disclosure further provide a technique for calculating a cybersecurity risk score for an organization based on identified customer/vendor relationships.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for digital lists of items are presented. An authentication interface module authenticates a first user device to authorize access to listing services of a web resource of a registered vendor. The web resource can generate an add-item request in response to user input from authorized user devices. The add-item request is linked to a first item of a vendor-item list. A list management module updates a selected-item list to include the first item of the vendor-item list and a notification attribute. A notification management module detects a notification event of the first item based on the notification attribute. In response to a detection of a notification event of the first item, the notification management module provides a notification message to one or more user devices linked to the first user account.

Abstract: Examples of job allocation are described hereon. In an example, a job for allocation may be received. The job may be analyzed to obtain information pertaining to the job. The information may comprise at least one of a domain of the job and a priority level of the job. Further, performance of resources may be determined to provide resource information. The resource information may be determined using a supervised learning model comprising a job vector for each job type and a resource vector corresponding to each resource. The resource information may include a list of resources with at least one of a corresponding probability of each resource completing the job and a performance score of each resource. Based on the job information and the resource information, the resource may be recommended for the job using an expertise-estimation modeling technique and the job may be assigned to the recommended resource, accordingly.

Abstract: A method to visually represent change conflicts between a plurality of changes within the network of retail stores on a display of a user device is disclosed. One of a change identifier or a store identifier is received from the user device. The user device is instructed to display a change calendar including a plurality of calendar blocks representing changes for one or more of the retail stores. A request to add or modify a change is received from the user device. The user device is instructed to display the change calendar according to the request. One or more of a color coding or an indicator are displayed to indicate whether a conflict is present between the change of the request and one or more of the other changes for the one or more retail stores.

Abstract: Embodiments forecasting future demand for an item. Embodiments receive a regression based demand algorithm for the item that includes the set of features as regression variables and split the data points into a training set and a testing set. Embodiments assign each of the features of the set of features into one of a plurality of regularization categories and assign a penalty parameter to each of the features subject to regularization. Embodiments train the demand algorithm using the training set, the penalty parameters and the features to generate a trained demand model. Embodiments evaluate the trained demand model using the testing set to determine an early drop metric and repeat the assigning each of the features, the assigning the penalty parameter, the training the demand algorithm and the evaluating the trained demand model until the early drop metric meets a threshold.

Abstract: A system and method for optimization of on-demand microtransit is provided. A list of possible stops of one or more vehicles is maintained. A plurality of requests for transportation are received, each of the requests associated with at least one traveler. Travelers to be transported by one of the vehicles are selected. A set of a minimal number of the stops is selected, the set comprising at least one stop that is within a predefined walking distance of the origin location of each of the selected travelers and at least one stop within the predefined walking distance of the destination location of each of the selected travelers. Potential routes are identified for the vehicle that include the stops in the set. The potential routes are evaluated using a plurality of constraints and one of the routes is selected for fulfilling the requests of the selected travelers.

Abstract: Methods and systems for managing energy sources and energy consumers in an integrated system are provided. Certain subject matter presented herein relates to automatically scheduling jobs and their sub-tasks to maximize profit by comparing power source configurations and determining the best job schedule for the power source configurations. This system broadly involves two sub-problems: determining the best power source configuration and determining the best job schedule for the given power source configuration.

Abstract: Managing a meeting can include analyzing, using a processor, dialog of the meeting to detect a closing indicator in response to determining that a scheduled end time of a meeting currently in progress is approaching. In the event that the closing indicator is not detected within the dialog, determining, using the processor, availability of an attendee of the meeting to continue in the meeting beyond the scheduled end time. A notification of the scheduled end time of the meeting can be provided, using the processor, in response to determining that the attendee of the meeting is not available to continue in the meeting beyond the scheduled end time.

Abstract: Event planning using social networking enables an efficient implementation of planning an event, as well as minimizing network traffic and optimizing other technological aspects of life. Additional information acquired by sensors and other technology is able to improve the quality of the event planning. Social network information as well as the additional information is able to be used to select aspects of the event such as time, location, and/or many other aspects of the event.

Abstract: Systems and methods for qualifying a sales lead may include one or more of the following. Information, received via a network, about an identified end-user computing device and/or an end-user of the identified end-user computing device may be processed. Lead qualification rules that include criteria for qualifying a lead may be accessed. A characteristic of the end-user of the identified end-user computing device may be derived based at least in part on the information about the identified end-user computing device and/or the end-user. A lead characterization of the end-user of the identified end-user computing device may be generated based at least in part on the characteristic of the end-user of the identified end-user computing device and the lead qualification rules. The lead characterization may indicate a lead assessment of the end-user. The lead characterization of the end-user of the identified end-user computing device may be stored.
