Abstract: A system and method for enabling identification of and engagement with, high-value participants within the venue of a live-event from data collected and saved at events for providing improved customer service, marketing of products and increasing ticket sales to events are disclosed. An on-site wireless captive portal technology is used to authenticate attendees to live-events, and, upon authentication, collect their personal preferences and social profile details in real-time. The information collected at the live event is used to update a historic database at a main server station. The data stored in the historic database is analyzed to identify high-value participants of live events and their preferences, to provide them improved customer service, and focused marketing and sales incentives at live-events, thereby improving the live event experience of each of these attendees, while improving ticket sales.

Abstract: A method for predicting an impact of a service level agreement including collecting workload data and effort data and constructing a cost model for the service level agreement, defining a baseline service parameter corresponding to the code model of the service level agreement, and calibrating the cost model of the service level agreement, by calibrating a workload volume from the workload data and an effort time from the effort data to match the baseline service parameter, to output a service level agreement impact model.

Abstract: Provided is a process including: receiving a tank-nearly-full message indicating that a tank at an oil or gas related facility is or will be ready for a truck to unload and transport fluid accumulating in the tank; in response to the tank-nearly-full message, creating a tank-run record; sending a description of the tank-run to a mobile device of a driver of an oilfield truck; receiving, from the mobile device of the driver of the oilfield truck, a tank-run claimed message indicating that the driver will drive to the oil or gas related facility and transport at least some of the fluid accumulating in the tank; and after the tank-run claimed message, performing steps including: confirming that the tank-run has not yet been claimed; after the confirmation, designating the tank-run as claimed by the driver; and sending confirmation to the mobile device of the driver.

The method may also include loading an adapted task workflow based on historical information. The method may further include receiving an input pertaining to one or more tasks of the adapted task workflow. In addition, the method may include determining whether the one or more tasks have been completed based on the received input.

Abstract: The present disclosure extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for approving proposed business plans and automatically generating and coordinating workflow for establishing data tables for aggregating customer profiles data. The disclosure also extends to methods, systems and computer products for scheduling processes within workflows and checking the status of the workflows.

Abstract: A problem that a load on an affiliate server increases when an affiliate reward is divided among a plurality of people is solved. When a user purchases a commodity or receives service in an EC site, an affiliate reward dividing apparatus adds a full amount of a reward to one of a poster database and an introducer database on the basis of a dividing ratio stored in an affiliate database. A computation of referring to a dividing ratio for each reward and dividing a reward, and a process of accumulating a divided reward in each data base is not necessary, so that a load on a system can be lessened.

Abstract: Methods and systems for managing signals by signal owners. Signals are indicators of data that are derived from data sources and abstracted to protect the underlying data. The signal owner first converts its own underlying data into a “signal” or indicator that represents the data without disclosing it or providing it. Signal sellers determine if they wants share signals based upon buyer, price, and other rules, including limitations on signal use. Signal buyers determine signal value based upon their objectives.

Abstract: A crowd pricing system and method having tier-based ratings includes a pricing table hosted on a memory. The pricing table has a plurality of pricing tiers, wherein the pricing table is correlated to at least one downloadable media item. A download popularity value is calculated based on a quantity of downloads of the at least one downloadable media item within an evaluation period, wherein a position of the at least one downloadable media item is movable between the plurality of pricing tiers based on the download popularity value, wherein position movement of the at least one downloadable media item is regulated by at least one control factor. A ratings designation is paired with each of the plurality of pricing tiers, the ratings designation having a cumulative user ratings score calculated by the processor, wherein the cumulative user ratings score provides an indication of cumulative user rating of the at least one downloadable media item.

Abstract: A system for providing visual crop data to a mobile device includes at least one server computer in communication with a mobile device. The at least one server computer is configured to receive location data relating to a geographical position of the mobile device; retrieve topographical data associated with at least a portion of the location data; generate shape data based at least partially on the topographical data; and transmit at least a portion of the shape data to the mobile device, such that at least one shape is visually displayed on at least a portion of a map image displayed on the mobile device. Also disclosed is a computer-implemented method and computer program product for providing and/or interacting with visual crop data, including appropriately communicatively connected hardware components.

Abstract: Described herein is a framework for optimal demand-based allocation. In accordance with one aspect of the framework, trip data is extracted from vehicle operation data received from one or more vehicle data devices servicing a region of interest. Vehicle demands for multiple tiles of the region of interest and mutual travel times between neighboring tiles are estimated based at least in part on the trip data. A set of candidate tiles for allocating vehicle stations may then be determined by minimizing total travel time based on the mutual travel times and vehicle demands.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method for providing anonymized, filtered data from a financial institution having cardholders to a business client. The method may include the steps of storing data in at least one database. The data may include credit card transaction data and debit card transaction data maintained by the financial institution, cardholder demographic data maintained by the financial institution, and other data maintained by the business client. The method may also implement a heuristic process to clean the data. Further, the method may comprise providing an interface for the business client to allow the business client to filter and display the data. The interface can anonymize the data to safeguard the privacy of the cardholders, receive input from the business client as to desired filtering criteria, wherein the filtering criteria include time period, geographic region, type of merchant, and cardholder demographic data, and present the anonymized, filtered data to the business client.

Abstract: One embodiment of the invention disclosed herein provides techniques for distributing tasks to skilled workers participating in a managed crowd-sourcing workforce. A crowd worker routing system receives a request for a task assignment from a first worker participating in the crowd-sourcing workforce. The crowd worker routing system retrieves one or more scores associated with the first worker, wherein each score is related to the performance of the first worker with respect to completing a prior set of task assignments. The crowd worker routing system determines that a first task assignment included in a first set of task assignments is related to a first score included in the one or more scores. The crowd worker routing system determines whether to route the first task assignment to the first worker for completion based on the first score and one or more routing rules.

Abstract: An automated valuation model and corresponding analysis tool that graphically displays value history information in association with a subject property is disclosed. In one example, the tool generates a graph plotting the valuation history of a subject property over an adjustable time range in relation to a general price index for a pertinent geographical area. When looking at an appraisal for a property, the graph also supports selective plotting of appraiser-selected comparable properties' valuation histories against that of the subject property. The valuation history for comparable properties can be scaled on a pro-rata basis according to the percentage of the adjustments made within the appraisal. In addition, the graph selectively incorporates model-generated comparables and their valuation histories.

Abstract: A method for interactive test-schedule adjustment is provided. The steps include: displaying a table including the importance and period of each test item; displaying a first optimum schedule obtained from an optimal solution based on values entered by a user into the table, the schedule including a use schedule of each test facilities used for each of the multiple test items; displaying a second optimum schedule obtained from an optimal solution recalculated by mathematical programming after a use schedule of a test item the importance of which is changed on the first optimum schedule is changed; and displaying a third optimum schedule based on neighborhood solutions obtained by a search method using a history of optimal solutions if no agreement between the users is obtained on the second schedule.

The application may be utilized by a user in connection with a third party exchange system, small business, or individually. An exemplary method may comprise storing external data received from a variety external sources into a parameterized table, creating a first set of category views on the parameterized table, creating a second set of category views based at least in part on data to be derived from a traveler's personal information to be received, receiving the traveler's personal information generated by an input device and determining whether the traveler is a person of interest by evaluating the personal information against one or more pre-defined profiles using the first and second sets of category views. Each of the one or more pre-defined profiles may comprise one or more rules and a threshold value for determining a likelihood for the traveler to be matched in each of the one or more pre-defined profiles.
