  • Patent number: 10782661
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of controlling a multivalent energy supply system comprising at least two energy generators which use at least two different energy carriers in order to provide energy in the form of heat and/or cold and/or electrical energy. The energy supply system further comprises a closed-loop controller for each energy generator for controlling controlled variables of the energy generator and a control device for coordinatedly controlling the closed-loop controllers. The control device detects at least one energy supply request for at least one energy form of heat and/or cold and/or electrical energy. For each energy generator, the control device determines target values for meeting the at least one energy supply request based on the particular energy carrier being used, wherein the target values may also include instructions for switching the energy generator on or off, and outputs the target values to the closed-loop controllers.

  • Patent number: 10732615
Abstract: A system and method for minimizing the damage to the backside of a workpiece disposed on a platen during thermal transitions is disclosed. The system includes a controller that modulates the clamping voltage and backside gas pressure during the thermal transition. By modulating the clamping voltage, the workpiece may not be as tightly held to the platen at certain times, thus minimizing damage that may be caused by particles resident on the top surface of the platen. Furthermore, the modulation of the backside gas pressure still permits good thermal conductivity between the platen and the workpiece.

  • Patent number: 10732587
Abstract: Compensation for an external disturbance can be applied without requiring a model of the external disturbance, and, particularly, the amount of control can be accurately predicted even when the amplitude of a waveform representing changes in a predicted error with respect to time is not constant with respect to time in a case in which the predicted error that is an error between an actually-measured value of the amount of control of a control target and a predicted value periodically changes. A controller compensates a predicted value of the current amount of control using a predicted error of a previous period by taking changes in the amplitude of a waveform representing a predicted error that is an error between an actually-measured value of the amount of control and a predicted value into account.
