In one embodiment, a method may include (1) a back end for an organization comprising at least one computer processor receiving a first communication from a first entity comprising a first customer interaction with the first entity; (2) the back end writing the first communication to a ledger for the organization as a first block in a linked activity chain; (3) the back end receiving a second communication from a second entity comprising a second customer second activity with the second entity; (4) the back end writing the second communication to the ledger for the organization as a second block in the linked activity chain; (5) the back end calculating a summary score for the customer based on the blocks in the linked activity chain.

Underwriting of a loan may be triggered based on the geo-location of the user. Financial advice may be provided to customers to help them meet their goals using information obtained from third party sources, such as purchase options based on particular goals. The pervasive advisor may thus intervene to assist with budgeting, financing, and timing of major expenditures based on the customer's location and on the customer's unique and changing circumstances.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for processing transactions in a computing system. An example method generally includes receiving a request to perform an operation with respect to an object included in the request. A system identifies an archetype defining properties of the object included in the request. Based on the identified archetype, the system identifies data repositories to commit data to in order to perform the requested operation and rules for performing the operation with respect to the object. One or more actions are executed against the identified data repositories according to the identified rules.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for partitioned private interconnects to provider networks are described. At least a portion of available bandwidth of a private physical interconnect between a provider network and a connectivity intermediary's network is designated as the bandwidth limit of an interconnect partition set up on behalf of a customer at the request of the intermediary. The intermediary's network comprises one or more devices to which at least one of the customer's devices is connected. Access to one or more resources of the provider network via the interconnect is enabled. Traffic monitoring results associated with the interconnect are used to enforce the designated bandwidth limit of the partition.

Abstract: Systems and methods for the automated fulfillment of orders from a fulfillment network including consumer-facing retail locations. Orders are partitioned into suborders, which are in turn assigned to retail locations based on forecasted demand for the suborder items at the retail locations. The assignment process considers operational data for each retail location such as the number of employees, the inventory of suborder items, shipping rate cards, return policies, business hours, pick decline estimations, etc.

Abstract: A heuristic money laundering detection engine includes capabilities to collect an unstructured data set, such as a transaction record, and detect indications of money laundering activity. By detecting money laundering activity and feeding back indications of money laundering transactions, the heuristic algorithm may continue to learn and improve detection accuracy. Such indications may include correlations to sets of transaction activity among a number of financial accounts and past indications of money laundering activity. Indications of money laundering may allow generation of audit reports for reporting to regulatory authorities.

Abstract: Automated provisioning, according to one example embodiment, enables a mutual customer to establish an intelligent and automated connection between an accounting software system and their financial institution. For example, this might be achieved by allowing a financial institution customer to make feeds from their bank accounts available to the accounting software system within financial internet software (e.g., hosted and operated by the customer's financial institution). Once a customer selects the bank account(s) they want to share with the accounting software system, they are passed along to the accounting software system to link the selected bank account with an account they have set up in the accounting software system.

Abstract: An out-of-stock detection system notifies store management that a product is out of stock. The system captures images of a shelf and determines the position product labels thereon. For each product label, a bounding box is generated based on the position of each product label on the shelf. The system then identifies a product for each product label based on information within each product label and, for each product label, stores a product identified for each bounding box. Accordingly, the system performs an out-of-stock detection process that includes capturing additional image data of the shelf periodically that includes each bounding box, providing a portion of the additional image data for each bounding box to a model trained to determine whether the bounding box contains products, sending a notification for a product determined to be out of stock to a store client device based on output from the model.

Abstract: Certain example embodiments described herein relate to systems and/or methods for presenting user-interactive, dynamically-generated contextual content for individual articles of clothing. A QR or other code is provided to the article of clothing. The QR or other code is scannable by an electronic device, causing the electronic device to access a webpage or the like. The webpage (or similar information display) includes information typically found on a tag or label, together with additional dynamically-generated and organized content relevant to the article and/or person for whom the article was made. The techniques described herein are usable in connection with mass-produced, small batch/boutique items, as well as custom articles of clothing. Thus, it becomes possible to quickly and easily convey a broad scope of information about an article of clothing directly from that article of clothing, without having to include large and potentially irritating tags or labels.

Abstract: A marine vessel maneuvering system able to improve operability when shifting a marine vessel to a pivot turning mode includes a rotatable operator to maneuver a marine vessel, and a controller configured or programmed to shift to a pivot turning mode in which the marine vessel is turned on the spot. In a rotation operation direction of the operator, a high friction region where a resistance of a rotation operation increases is set within a rotatable range of the operator. When the operator is rotated to the high-friction region, the controller is configured or programmed to shift the marine vessel to the pivot turning mode.
