  • Patent number: 10630949
Abstract: A projection system including a processing device and a plurality of projectors is provided. The projectors are disposed above a projection plane or below the projection plane. The processing device determines whether the projectors are disposed above the projection plane or below the projection plane according to a firmware setting of each of the projectors. When one of the projectors disposed above the projection plane projects a projection mode determination image, the processing device analyzes captured images captured by remainders of the projectors in respective image capture areas of the projection plane to determine projection modes of the projectors. In addition, an automatic setting method is also provided. The projection system of the invention may be readily set up based on various projection requirements.

  • Patent number: 10630953
Abstract: [Object] To provide technology that enables the characteristics of a display device to be appropriately evaluated. [Solution] Values Xn, Yn, and Zn are set based on tristimulus values obtained by measuring, by the optical measuring device, a first display state where white is displayed to fill a screen of the display device. Tristimulus values obtained by measuring a second display state by the optical measuring device are set as values X, Y, and Z. In the second display state, a color including at least one of red, green, blue, white, and black is displayed in at least part of the screen of the display device. Values L*, a*, and b* are calculated by transforming the values Xn, Yn, and Zn and the values X, Y, and Z. A color volume of a color space formed from the values L*, a*, and b* is calculated. The value Yn in the first display state and the color volume are output.

  • Patent number: 10623453
Abstract: A method of registering multiple devices to a single coordinate system is disclosed. A digital video is received from a digital camera device. The digital video presents a 2D view of a three-dimensional environment surrounding the mobile device. A set of simulated images is generated based on each video frame in the digital video. The simulated images and video frame are analyzed to determine features and create scale and orientation invariant descriptors that include depth information for the features. The descriptors and other data are sent to the server over a network. The descriptors are matched to feature descriptors from a second mobile device. A registration matrix is determined that represents a transformation from a coordinate system in the mobile device to a coordinate system in the second mobile device. The registration matrix is stored on the server to perform the registering of the multiple devices.

  • Patent number: 10609441
Abstract: Master computing device and method for synchronizing display of a digital content (for example a digital signage content) on the master computing device and on one or more slave computing device. The master device transmits a synchronization request, comprising a digital content identifier for identifying the digital content, to the slave device(s). The master device determines a number of negative responses received from the slave device(s) in response to the synchronization request. Each negative response is indicative of one among the slave device(s) not being capable of displaying the digital content. The master device transmits a new synchronization request to the slave computing device(s) if the number of received negative responses reaches a threshold. The master computing device transmits a display command to the slave device(s) for displaying the digital content on their respective display(s) if the number of received negative responses does not reach the threshold.
