  • Patent number: 9930955
Abstract: A lifter system includes a harness, at least one lifting strap carried by a front, central buckle on the harness, and two arm loops connected to the central buckle or to the harness near the central buckle. The arm loops are used to supply supplemental or substitute lifting force during lifting or maneuvering a heavy or bulky object. Preferably, a set of two shoulder harnesses is used by two persons standing face-to-face with a single lifter strap between them threaded through both of the central buckles, wherein the two persons wear the arm loops on their forearms and raise their arms to lift the central buckles, and hence, to lift the lifting strap, to levels higher than may be possible with only force supplied by the harnesses.

  • Patent number: 9930945
Abstract: Methods and systems for a protective sleeve for an electronic device according to various aspects of the present technology may function as a substantially impermeable barrier between moisture and/or air and the electronic device. Various embodiments of the protective sleeve may comprise a front panel coupled to a back panel, forming an internal volume that may be sealed toward a bottom open end by an expandable sheet member and a fastener toward a top open end. The expandable sheet member may fold inwardly towards a mid-portion of the internal volume to form a ridge flanked by two inwardly projecting surfaces. Expansion of the expandable sheet member may reduce a degree of inward projection of the two inwardly projecting surfaces above horizontal and may modify the shape of the internal volume to effect standing the protective sleeve upright on a surface.

  • Patent number: 9924751
Abstract: Waistbands and wristbands include separable clasps suitable to join woven Paracord around a user's waist or wrist. Matching clasp pieces are attached to opposite ends of single lengths of woven Paracord and magnetically snap together and hold firm until twisted by the user or pulled apart by excess hauling force applied to the woven Paracord. Side slippage between matching magnetic plates of the clasps are textured with indentations and matching protrusions to control such slipping. In particular, such indentations and matching protrusions are concave and convex oval cones of matching height and base. These cones impart a ramping leverage effect that translates lateral movements into separating forces that both assist a user in dismounting the clasp by twisting and in the predicable and controllable release of the clasp subjected to longitudinal single-vector excess hauling force.

  • Patent number: 9873552
Abstract: A fabric bulk bag and a method for constructing the same, the bag including a continuous sidewall, a top portion, and a bottom, all defining a bulk storage space therein; the bottom further comprising eight sides which define an octagonal shape having an enlarged footprint so that the bag wall is sewn to the bottom in less time than a round shaped bag, yet when filled stands more upright with less tendency to lean than the current square shaped bags thereby providing a safer more dependable stacking bulk bag. In the method of producing the fabric bulk bag, the bag is constructed in less time than the prior art round bottom bags, uses less wall fabric than prior art square bottomed bags and when constructed and filled, supports itself more stable on a floor or pallet because it provides substantially more base for the product to rest on. In other embodiments, the bag would be multi-sided with greater than four sides.
