Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to methods for additive manufacturing (AM) that utilize breakable structures in the process of building objects, as well as novel breakable support structures to be used within these AM processes. A support structure includes a weakened portion and the object includes an outlet. The method includes breaking the removable support structure at the weakened portion into at least two parts.

Abstract: An imprinting apparatus and methods of forming imprinted patterns are provided. The imprinting apparatus may include an imprint template and an exposure system. The imprint template may include a mesa portion and a light blocking layer. The mesa portion may have a patterned surface providing imprinting patterns, and the light blocking layer may define a window region. The exposure system may be configured to alternately generate a first exposure light travelling toward the window region and a second exposure light travelling toward the patterned surface.

Abstract: A wearable container containing a composite which has an alternating pattern containing groupings of woven fabric and groupings of biaxially oriented thermoplastic films. The composite has a thickness of less than about 5 mm. Each grouping of woven fabric contains at least one woven fabric layer, each woven fabric layer containing tape elements having a base layer of a strain oriented olefin polymer disposed between covering layers of a heat fusible olefin polymer.
