  • Patent number: 11778053
Abstract: Techniques for fault-tolerant function placement across multiple computing placement locations are described. An application placement service obtains a latency-based placement of functions of an application and utilizes resource information associated with the placement locations to determine error rates for flows of the placement. For flows having an error rate falling outside of an allowable range, the application placement service can modify the placement to improve the error rate, e.g., by adding additional redundancy for functions in higher-error placement locations within those placement location tiers, and/or by adding additional redundancy for functions in higher-error placement locations within different placement location tiers.

  • Patent number: 11765045
Abstract: A system, methods, and computer-readable media are provided herein for real-time “live” identification of connectivity issues with autonomous predictive solution provision via a diagnostic application supported by a machine-learning model. In aspects, live data in a targeted application is captured in an on-going manner and used by the diagnostic application to automatically identify connectivity issues. When connectivity issues are detected, the live data capture is pushed to the model so that the model can make a predictive classification of the error based on geospatial, temporal, and/or geospatial-temporal alignments in the data. Based on the classification, the model predicts a solution and the diagnostic application provides the solution to the user of the targeted application.

  • Patent number: 11743151
Abstract: Techniques are described in which a network management system processes network event data received from the AP devices. The NMS is configured to dynamically determine, in real-time, a minimum (MIN) threshold and a maximum (MAX) threshold for expected occurrences for each event type, wherein the MIN thresholds and MAX thresholds define ranges of expected occurrences for the network events of the corresponding event types. The NMS applies an unsupervised machine learning model to the network event data to determine predicted counts of occurrences of the network events for each of the event types and identify, based on the predicted counts of occurrences and the dynamically-determined minimum threshold values and maximum threshold values for each event type, one or more of the network events as indicative of abnormal network behavior.

  • Patent number: 11726948
Abstract: A system for reading stored data may include one or more Ethernet drives and a controller, both configured to communicatively connect to a host device. The controller may receive a first read command from the host device, determine a first drive among the one or more Ethernet drives using the first read command and a mapping table, translate the first read command into a second read command, and send the second read command to the first drive. Responsive to receiving the second read command, the first drive may send a first remote data transfer instruction to the host device independent of the controller. The first remote data transfer instruction may include stored data read from the first drive to cause the host device to write the stored data read from the first drive to one or more memory buffers in the host device indicated by the second read command.
