Patent number: 11552869Abstract: A method for suspending and resuming a connection for desktop virtualization between two computing devices. In response to a client computing device shutting down, suspending, hibernating, or losing network connectivity during virtualization, the server computing device may itself shut down, suspend, or hibernate, or may pause or suspend the operation of one or more applications currently hosted by the server computing device. The server may detect that connectivity has been restored and resume operation of hosted applications. Alternatively, the client may transmit a command to the server indicating that the client is ready to resume virtualization. The client may also be configured to transmit a command that may cause the server to resume a powered-on state after the server was shut down or in a state of hibernation.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 2022Date of Patent: January 10, 2023Inventor: Shashidhar Ramareddy

Patent number: 11533197Abstract: A GRE tunnel is configured between multiple computing devices of a distributed cloud computing network and a single origin router of the origin network. The GRE tunnel has a first GRE endpoint that has an IP address that is shared among the computing devices of the distribute cloud computing network and a second GRE endpoint that has a publicly routable IP address of the origin router. A first computing device receives an IP packet from a client that is destined to an origin server. The first computing device processes the received IP packet and encapsulates the IP packet inside an outer packet to generate a GRE encapsulated packet whose source address is the first GRE endpoint and the destination address is the second GRE endpoint. The GRE encapsulated packet is transmitted over the GRE tunnel to the single origin router.Type: GrantFiled: September 21, 2021Date of Patent: December 20, 2022Assignee: CLOUDFLARE, INC.Inventors: Nicholas Alexander Wondra, Achiel Paul van der Mandele, Alexander Forster, Eric Reeves, Joaquin Madruga, Rustam Xing Lalkaka, Marek Przemyslaw Majkowski

Patent number: 11522920Abstract: A system includes a security controller located within a central-zone in communication with a provisioned agent operating on an edge-zone device. The security controller may implement controller-blind security control on the edge-zone device by making security authorization determinations using a secure-operation confidence analysis performed by the provisioned agent. The provisioned agent, operating within the edge-zone, may have access to un-sanitized data, which may be unavailable to the security controller in the central-zone. The provisioned agent may access condition-descriptors via a secure-operation confidence assignment matrix. Using the condition-descriptors, the provisioned agent determine feedback, which may include a secure-operation confidence coefficient, based on the un-sanitized data to which the security controller is blind.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2021Date of Patent: December 6, 2022Assignee: Accenture Global Solutions LimitedInventors: David B. Patent number: 11463559Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media that generate compressed metric data for digital metrics utilizing a graph-based compression dictionary and time slice compression. For instance, the disclosed systems can utilize a dynamically modifiable graph-based compression dictionary to generate compressed metric label identifiers for metric labels of digital metrics. The graph-based compression dictionary can include nodes and edges corresponding to metric label segments and metric label identifier values, respectively. The disclosed systems can traverse the graph-based compression dictionary using a metric label to determine the corresponding compressed metric label identifier. The disclosed systems can further generate delta compression values for the metric values of the digital metrics. For instance, the disclosed systems can compare metric values within a single time slice (e.g., a time stamp) to generate corresponding delta compression values.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2021Date of Patent: October 4, 2022Assignee: Lyft, Inc.Inventors: Kirti Agarwal, Behrooz Badii, Nathaniel Joseph Oorloff, Jeffrey Tsvi Pinner, Yann Thomas Ramin

Data packet fragmentation for replicated packet traffic through a software-defined wide area network
Patent number: 11456954Abstract: A system and a method are described for data packet fragmentation for replicated packet traffic through an SD-WAN. In an example a first packet has an internet protocol identification (IP-ID). The first packet is replicated to create a second packet. The first packet and the second packet are fragmented into fragments for transmission through a tunnel in one or more paths between the source address and the destination address. The IP-ID of the second packet is modified. The fragments of the first packet and the second packet are separately encapsulated. The first and second packet fragments are received through the tunnel at a second node. The second node reassembles the first packet using the first packet fragments and reassembles the second packet using the second packet fragments. The IP-ID of the reassembled second packet is restored to be the IP-ID of the first packet.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2021Date of Patent: September 27, 2022Assignee: Versa Networks, Inc.Inventors: Kapil Bajaj, Chetan Bali, Apurva Mehta -

Patent number: 11438754Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are set forth for providing digital and non-digital content to a segment of a population that is identified using geolocation data and other activity data. In some implementations, non-digital content is delivered via postal mail to a segment of a population according to whether the segment of the population viewed certain content before, during, or after visiting a particular geographic location. In other implementations, digital content, such as phone calls or voice messages, can be delivered to a segment of a population according whether the segment of the population is present or has recently been present at a particular location and previously viewed certain content associated with the location. Segmenting populations in this way can conserve computational resources and materials that might otherwise be wasted on serving a larger population that may have less of an interest in the content.Type: GrantFiled: February 16, 2021Date of Patent: September 6, 2022Assignee: EL TORO.COM, LLCInventors: Stacy B.
