Abstract: A protocol processing method and apparatus, and a storage medium are provided. The method includes: carrying a leaf-transfer capability identifier in an RIFT protocol, the leaf-transfer capability identifier being configured to indicate that a first node that carries the leaf-transfer capability identifier supports other leaf nodes within a network to access the network through the first node.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method of load balancing data message flows across multiple secure connections. The method receives a data message having source and destination addresses formatted according to a first protocol. Based on the source and destination addresses, the method selects one of the multiple secure connections for the data message. Each of the secure connections handles a first set of connections formatted according to the first protocol and a second set of connections formatted according to a second protocol that is an alternative to the first protocol. The method securely encapsulates the data message and forwards the encapsulated data message onto a network. The encapsulation includes an identifier for the selected secure connection.

Abstract: Systems and methods for instantiating collaboration interfaces via object recognition are disclosed. An object recognition engine communicatively coupled to a database and an electronic device receives sensor data related to an object and identifies an object characteristic. A component is selected having criteria satisfied by the object characteristic and a collaboration interface is instantiated on the electronic device. This can allow a user to edit content related to an object. A substantially identical collaboration interface can be instantiated on a second electronic device to allow collaboration among user with respect to content related to the object.

Abstract: Provided in the example embodiments are a method, electronic device, and computer storage medium for managing virtual streaming. The method for managing virtual streaming includes: providing a configuration interface for configuring a virtual streaming room with configuration settings, the configuration settings including at least an audience group setting, and a host setting related to a virtual host; receiving, via the configuration interface, configuration input corresponding to the audience group setting, and/or the host setting; and based on the configuration input, generating a host assignment rule, the host assignment rule for assigning at least one virtual host to at least one audience group. The example embodiments solve the problems in which the form of an existing virtual host is fixed, audience adhesion is poor, and use thereof is inflexible.

Abstract: Updating user-specific instances of a second application for individual users of a group based on a data file for the second application being shared via a collaboration object that corresponds to the group within a first application. The instances of the second application present each individual user with their own custom user experience that is configured to provide access to specific content based on object permissions data. An application extension is executable, by the first application, to extend content editing functionalities of the second application into the collaboration object. Responsive to specific content being associated with the collaboration object via the application extension, each of the instances of the second application may be automatically updated to provide direct access to the specific content. Thus, each user within the group defined for collaboration object can access the data file via the collaboration object and their own instance of the second application.

Abstract: A method for an immersive spatial visual telecommunication is provided that includes audio and video capturing devices and a spherical visual display (physical or virtual) surrounding the local user or multiple users, who can now interact (standing or seated) inside one common virtual space—which is generated by virtually interconnecting the spaces within the spherical visual displays in different locations—with multiple other remote users, who are using the same software and hardware setup. The scale of the setup can vary: the smallest setup allows for 2-8 users (max. 2 users in each location) to interact in 2-4 different locations whereby the bigger the setup is, the more users in more locations can participate.

Abstract: An illustrative method includes a storage management system ingesting a data item into a unified storage system via a storage system interface among a plurality of storage system interfaces associated with the unified storage system, determining, in response to the ingesting of the data item into the unified storage system, an operation based on the data item, and providing a notification of the operation to an orchestration system configured to manage an execution of the operation by a computing system associated with the unified storage system. In certain embodiments, the unified storage system may be implemented as compute-aware storage system such as a container orchestrator-aware storage system.

Abstract: I/O network modules connect field devices to a process control network. Each I/O network module includes a set of electrical connectors for connecting a field device to the module and an I/O channel extending from the set of electrical connectors to a network port. The I/O channel includes a conversion circuit that converts between an I/O signal and network-compatible signals. Each I/O channel connected to the process control network through an I/O network module is associated with its own unique network address. This enables controllers and field devices on the process control network to communicate essentially directly with one another through the network.

Abstract: In some implementations, a broadband network gateway (BNG) may receive, from a customer premises equipment, a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) discover request, wherein the BNG is connected to the customer premises equipment and a fixed mobile interworking function (FMIF). The BNG may communicate with, based on the DHCP discover request, the FMIF. The BNG may provide to the customer premises equipment, and based on communicating with the FMIF, a DHCP offer that offers utilization of the BNG as a DHCP server. The BNG may receive from the customer premises equipment, and based on providing the DHCP offer, a DHCP request to request utilization of the BNG as the DHCP server. The BNG may provide to the customer premises equipment, and based on the DHCP request, a DHCP acknowledgment that acknowledges utilization of the BNG as the DHCP server.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system and a method for configuring an IP device to be discoverable to a client device over a local network having a DHCP server for assigning dynamic IP addresses. The method includes obtaining a dynamic IP address assigned to the IP device upon completion of boot process for the IP device; checking if a static IP address has been set for the IP device; determining if the dynamic IP address and the static IP address are in a same subnet of the local network; implementing the static IP address set for the IP device, if the dynamic IP address and the static IP address are in the same subnet of the local network; and implementing the dynamic IP address assigned to the IP device, if the dynamic IP address and the static IP address are not in the same subnet of the local network.

Abstract: A method comprises receiving a set of data from at least one interaction, calculating, an audio score for any audio data received in the set of data, and calculating a video score for any video data received in the set of data. The audio score is joined with the video score to create an audiovisual score, and some subset of measurement, alert or recommendation is sent to a user, the set being based on the audiovisual score and configured to be displayed on a user device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing data beacons are disclosed. In some embodiments the system can include a first node and a second node. Each node includes a read queue, a write queue and a parallel file system. Data is written from the write queue on the first node to the parallel file system on the second node and from the write queue on the second node to the parallel file system on the first node. The read queue on each node receives data from the parallel file system on the node itself.

Abstract: A system and method for providing electronic content to a user in a multi user content delivery system. A set of preferences are received from a first user at a preference component. This set of preferences indicates a portion of electronic content the first user desires to receive. Electronic content is received from a plurality of users by a content aggregator. This content is then aggregated. The electronic content is then modified for the user based on the received set of preferences. The modified content is then distributed or sent to the user by the content distributor.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for presenting participant reactions to a virtual conference. The program and method provide for a virtual conference between plural participants; provide, for each of the plural participants, display of a reaction button which is selectable by the participant to indicate a reaction to the virtual conference; receive indication of selections of the reaction button by one or more of the plural participants; and in response to receiving the indication, provide, for each of the plural participants, display of reaction icons and audio output based on the selections, determine that a rate at which the selections were received meets a threshold rate, and provide, in response to the determining, for modified audio output associated with the selections.

Abstract: Methods and systems provide for presenting real-time engagement analytics for communication sessions. In one embodiment, a method maintains a communication session with a number of participants, wherein session content is presented during the communication session to the participants, and wherein participants can request real-time notes to be generated for the session content to be captured. The method determines one or more engagement metrics for participants based on the participants requesting real-time notes to be generated during the communication session. Finally, the method presents, to one or more participants of the communication session, information corresponding to at least a subset of the determined engagement metrics.

Abstract: Provided herein are systems and methods for providing concurrent connection maximization. Operations include repeatedly increasing a quantity of logical connections between a source email sender and a destination email recipient server and tracking a quantity of logical connections; receiving a connection refusal signal and recording the tracked quantity of logical connections as active upon receipt; storing in a recipient status data set the active quantity of logical connections; and upon initiation of a new message send request to a recipient at the destination email recipient server, configuring a plurality of concurrent connections to the destination email recipient server based on the tracked quantity of logical connections and stored for the destination email recipient server; and sending messages over a portion of the plurality of concurrent connections within a threshold indicated by the tracked quantity of logical connections stored for the destination email recipient server.

Abstract: Systems and methods may include sending, to a network registrar, an extended duplicate address request (EDAR) message including a first nonce generated by a host computing device, and receiving, from the network registrar, an extended duplicate address confirmation (EDAC) message including a second nonce and a first signature, a first nonce pair including the first nonce and the second nonce being signed by the network registrar via a first key pair of the network registrar via the first signature. The systems and methods may further include sending a first neighbor advertisement (NA) message to the host computing device including the second nonce. The second nonce and a public key of the network registrar verifies the first signature from the network registrar, the verification of the first signature indicating that a router through which the host computing device connects to a network is not impersonating the network.

Abstract: Correlating captured packets with synthetic application testing is provided. A device captures packets associated with a plurality of processes that include one or more synthetic transactions and one or more transactions responsive to user input. A packet capture data set can lack process identifiers (PIDs). The device captures first finger-printing data including first PIDs and attributes associated with the plurality of processes, and second finger-printing data comprising second PIDs corresponding to the one or more synthetic transactions. The device applies a first filter generated from the second PIDs in the second finger-printing data to a first finger-printing data set, and a second filter generated from the filtered attributes of a filtered finger-printing data set to the packet capture data set. The device provides a filtered packet capture data set to manage a performance of one or more processes of the plurality of processes.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method of forwarding data messages between source and destination host computers that execute source and destination machines. At a source computer on which a source machine for a data message flow executes, the method in some embodiments identifies a source tunnel endpoint group (TEPG) associated with the source machine. For the flow, the method selects one TEP of the TEPG as the source TEP. The method then uses the selected source TEP to forward the flow to the destination computer on which the destination machine executes.
