Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for generating and providing pose guides that are tailored to a context of a camera viewfinder stream. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems determine a context of the camera viewfinder stream and provide sample pose images that correspond with the determined context. In response to a selection of a sample pose image, the disclosed systems generate and display a pose guide that is customized to the proportions of a subject depicted in the camera viewfinder stream. The disclosed systems further iteratively modify portions of the generated pose guide to indicate that the subject depicted in the camera viewfinder stream is coming into alignment with the generated pose guide. The disclosed systems automatically capture a digital image when the subject is in total alignment with the generated pose guide.

  • Patent number: 12177562
Abstract: An image-capturing apparatus is provided. The image-capturing apparatus has an imaging sensor, a controller, and a communication interface. The controller controls operation timings of the image-capturing apparatus. The communication interface outputs an image captured by the imaging sensor and control information of the imaging sensor to the outside at timings controlled by the controller. The controller can control the operation timings of the image-capturing apparatus in accordance with a synchronization signal input to the image-capturing apparatus. The controller synchronizes the synchronization signal and the operation timings of the image-capturing apparatus before the control information is output to the outside, when an instruction to output the control information to the outside is input while the synchronization signal and the operation timings are not synchronized.

  • Patent number: 12177591
Abstract: A degree of freedom in design is improved in a solid-state imaging element in which a logic gate is provided in a comparator. A comparison circuit compares an input potential which has been input with a predetermined reference potential and outputs any one of a pair of output potentials as a comparison result. A level shift circuit outputs any one of a pair of shift potentials having a larger potential difference than the pair of output potentials as an output signal on the basis of the comparison result. The logic gate determines whether or not the output signal is higher than a predetermined threshold between the pair of shift potentials and outputs a determination result. A counter counts a count value over a period until the determination result is inverted.

  • Patent number: 12169469
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for transmitting and receiving image data. The present implementations more specifically relate to repurposing non-video interfaces to receive image data. In some aspects, an image processing device may be coupled to an image source via an audio interface. For example, the audio interface may be an inter-IC sound (I2S) serial bus interface having at least a serial data input and a word select (WS) input. In some implementations, the serial data input may be coupled to receive image data from the image source and the WS input may be coupled to receive a WS signal that tracks a horizontal synchronization (HSYNC) signal associated with the image data. Accordingly, the image processing device may capture (or store) frames of received image data, where the beginning of each frame is aligned with an edge of the WS signal (and thus, the HSYNC signal).
