  • Patent number: 11863870
Abstract: An image stabilization apparatus that reduces image blurring by moving a correction mechanism in accordance with a motion of an image capture apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus controls a movement of the correction mechanism in accordance with a target position of the correction mechanism, the target position being intended to reduce the image blurring. The apparatus detects a vibration of a preset frequency included in the motion, the preset frequency being higher than a first frequency of a vibration caused by a camera shake. The apparatus, in a case where the vibration of the preset frequency has been detected, further reduces a control gain used for controlling the movement of the correction mechanism compared to a case where the vibration of the preset frequency has not been detected.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable storage media for dynamically operating a camera based on a location of the camera. A definition of a user-defined region and a set of rules for operating a camera within the user-defined region are obtained from a user. How to operate the camera within the user-defined region is then determined based on the set of rules. After receiving the definition of the user-defined region, it is determined whether the camera is located within the user-defined region, and upon determining that the camera is located within the user-defined region, the camera is to begin operation in accordance with the set of rules.

  • Patent number: 11831981
Abstract: In one implementation, a system includes an event sensor with a pixel array and an image pipeline. The pixel array is configured to operate a first subset of pixels in an active state and a second subset of pixels in an inactive state. The event sensor is configured to output pixel events. Each respective pixel event is generated in response to a specific pixel within the first subset of pixels detecting a change in light intensity that exceeds a comparator threshold. The image pipeline is configured to consume image data derived from the pixel events and communicate feedback information to the event sensor based on the image data. The feedback information causes a pixel within the first subset of pixels to transition from the active state to another state.

  • Patent number: 11792508
Abstract: A remote control device 60 measures a distance to a noticed imaging target OB directly in front of the remote control device 60 by a distance measurement unit. Further, the remote control device 60 measures a movement from an initial state by a motion sensor unit and transmits imaging target position information indicative of the measured distance and movement from a communication unit to an imaging device 20. An imaging target position calculation unit provided on the imaging device 20 calculates, on the basis of the imaging target position information from the remote control device 60, a direction of the noticed imaging target OB with respect to the direction in the initial state of the imaging device 20. By generating a direction controlling signal on the basis of a calculation result of the imaging target position calculation unit and outputting the direction controlling signal to a pan head 40, the imaging direction of the imaging device 20 can be set to the direction of the noticed imaging target OB.
