The processor is configured to display a portion of a first document on a display based on history stored in the memory and a first attribute specified by a user. The hardware engine may be configurable to (a) access a value indicative of whether to accumulate, and (b) responsive to the value indicative of whether to accumulate meeting a continue evaluation condition, (i) access a first numeric value obtained from evaluation of the first stage of the cascade classifier, (ii) accumulate the first numeric value with a second numeric value obtained from evaluation of the second stage of the cascade classifier to generate an accumulated value, and (iii) utilize the accumulated value to determine an outcome for the second stage of the cascade classifier.

Abstract: Rewriting text in the writing style of a target author is described. A stylistic rewriting system receives input text and an indication of the target author. The system trains a language model to understand the target author's writing style using a corpus of text associated with the target author. The language model may be transformer-based, and is first trained on a different corpus of text associated with a range of different authors to understand linguistic nuances of a particular language. Copies of the language model are then cascaded into an encoder-decoder framework, which is further trained using a masked language modeling objective and a noisy version of the target author corpus. After training, the encoder-decoder framework of the trained language model automatically rewrites input text in the writing style of the target author and outputs the rewritten text as stylized text.

Abstract: One embodiment provides a method, including: receiving, from a client, (i) a task of annotating information, (ii) a set of instructions for performing the task, and (iii) client annotations for a subset of the information within the task; assigning the subset to a plurality of annotators; obtaining (i) annotator annotations for the subset and (ii) a response time for providing the annotator annotation for each piece of information within the subset; identifying improvements to the set of instructions by (i) comparing the annotator annotations to the client annotations and (ii) identifying discrepancies made by the annotators in view of the response time; and generating a new set of instructions, wherein the generating comprises (i) identifying at least one feature of the information that distinguishes correctly annotated information from incorrectly annotated information and (ii) generating an instruction from the at least one feature.

Abstract: A method for electronic signature is provided. The method comprises capturing a user name through an interface and calculating a font size for an electronic signature of the user name based on the number of characters in the user name. The electronic signature of the user name is drawn using the font and calculated font size, and a determination is made if the electronic signature fits within a specified field of an electronic form. If the electronic signature fits within the specified field the electronic signature is submitted in the electronic form.

The display displays a document structure in which an edition element of a document to be edited is identifiable. The edition element is a portion of the document that serves as an element of editing work. Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to an on-demand intelligent assistant that obtains physical identifiers of a target individual using information received from sensors. The assistant determines an identity of the target individual using the physical identifiers. The assistant also caches the physical identifiers and the identity as baseline information of the target individual. The assistant further detects keywords used in communications of a user with the target individual. Moreover, the assistant determines that the user desires additional information of the target individual based on the keywords. Additionally, the assistant determines a query for the additional information using the baseline information and the keywords. Further, the assistant retrieves the additional information from a remote database using the query and provides the additional information to the user.

Abstract: Techniques for map interface interaction are described. One example method includes receiving user input specifying a map search operation, the map search operation including a first location and a distance determining point each specifying a location in a set of map data representing a physical area; determining a selected distance between the first location and the distance determining point, wherein the selected distance represents a physical distance between the physical locations represented by the first location and the distance determining point; determining a demarcated range based on the first location and the selected distance, the demarcated range representing a subset of the physical area; and displaying one or more target objects in the demarcated range as a search result set, each target object associated with a physical location in the subset of the physical area represented by the demarcated range.

The method for jumping between pages is applied to an application (APP) client, and the APP client is associated with tree path information. Abstract: Disclosed is a method for suggesting revisions to a document-under-analysis (“DUA”) from a seed database, the seed database including a plurality of original texts each respectively associated with one of a plurality of final texts. The method includes tokenizing the DUA into a plurality of statements-under-analysis (“SU As”), selecting a first SUA of the plurality of SU As, generating a first similarity score for each of the plurality of the original texts, the similarity score representing a degree of similarity between the first SUA and each of the original texts, selecting a first candidate original text of the plurality of the original texts, and creating an edited SUA (“ESUA”) by modifying a copy of the first SUA consistent with a first candidate final text associated with the first candidate original text.

Abstract: The invention belongs to the technical field force fields and particularly provides an atom type definition system and an atom type matching method. The atom type definition system includes an atom type visual UI interface, an atom type matching module, an atom type data management module and an atom type format transformation module. The atom type data management module includes an atom type definition data package. The system and method can describe various complicated atomic chemical environments, the description capability is improved, and the computation of a force field can be more accurate. According to the invention, convenient operation on an atom type can be realized, and addition, deletion, modification, inquiry as well as statistics of multiple dimensions are very visual and convenient.
