Abstract: A beverage container packaging assembly includes a bottom tray, center support, and top tray. A bottom tray of molded paper pulp includes a plurality of cup-shaped elements. The cup-shaped elements include a first deformable element and a second deformable element. At least one of the first deformable element and the second deformable element includes at least two overlapping elements. A top tray of molded paper pulp includes a plurality of bottle neck accommodating spaces. A center support of molded paper pulp disposed between the bottom tray and the top tray. The center support includes beverage container support cavities bounded by one or more center support posts. The beverage container support cavities are configured to surround at least a portion of the beverage container. The support cavities include a draft such that the cavities decrease in diameter from a bottom end to a top end of the center support.

The thread-like element is around two of the glass articles in at least one layer so that the two glass articles are spaced apart. The thread-like element has a cross section between at least 0.25 mm and at most 4.0 mm.

Abstract: A container for consumer goods includes a rigid outer box, an inner package, an inner frame and a pull tab. The outer box has a hinged lid configured to provide access to an inner volume of the outer box. The inner frame is paperboard having a pre-cut opening configured to provide access to an inner volume of the inner package. The pull tab covers the opening with a first adhesive that releasably adheres an edge portion of the pull tab to the inner frame and a second adhesive that permanently adheres the pull tab to the inner package and the outer box.

Also, a magazine containing a plurality of medicament cases for administration of medicaments to a group of people, and a method of administering medications to mass casualties of multiple persons that are in need thereof. The medicaments are rapidly disintegratable and can include a dye that stains the person's mouth so that medical personnel can determine who has been treated with the medicament.

Abstract: A direct-to-consumer heat shrunk bundled product made up of a plurality of paper product rolls each individually packaged by a first package material and arranged relative to one another so as to form a bundle, the bundle being packaged by a second package material, wherein a substantial portion of the inner surface of the second package material is in contact with the first package material of the plurality of paper product rolls and is nonstick relative to the first package material. The bundle includes fused end seals so that the bundle does not include open gussets that might otherwise catch on machinery during sorting and shipping. The packaging material and/or wrapper may include laser energy absorbing material or adhesive.

Abstract: A storage system includes a cassette tape case having a first portion defining a recess extending along a length of the case and a second portion that is rotatably coupled with the first portion. The second portion has two protrusions that extend into an interior of the case at a medial position. The protrusions are aligned with a longitudinal axis of the case. A storage device is insertable within the case, the storage device having a storage device body with a two sides and being generally shaped like a cassette tape. The body defines two circular apertures that extend at least partially through a thickness of the body. When the storage device is inserted within the case, each protrusion extends at least partially into a respective circular aperture. The body defines a recess extending along a length of the body and extending partially through the thickness of the body.

Abstract: This disclosure presents a deployable spill containment system and method. In one embodiment, the spill containment device forms a shallow container covering a large area. The coverage area and depth may vary. The spill containment device may have deformable walls that allow vehicles to drive over and into the protection area during deployment. Furthermore, the spill containment device may be rolled, folded, or both, for storage and transportation, such as fitting in a bed of a pickup truck. The spill containment system includes replaceable components for easy repair, exchange, and modification when needed.

Abstract: A more robust packaging structure for maintaining the integrity of compressible biologically active materials during storage and especially during transportation is provided. These containers protect the materials from shock, vibration, deformation, or separation from agitation. The compressible materials may be in the form of synthetic fibers, and may include a composite of fibers and beads or granules. Suitable materials that may benefit from such a robust packaging structure include synthetic materials that comprise a biologically active ceramic or glass.

Abstract: A carrier and related methods of use are provided for packaging irregular-shaped products. The carrier has a footing and a vertical support member partially enclosing at least one irregular-shaped product. The vertical support member has: (1) a pair of sidewalls facing one another and having lower tabs joined to opposite ends of the footing, and (2) a rear wall with edges along the junctures with the sidewalls and a lower edge along the juncture with the footing. A wrap encloses the irregular-shaped product(s) and the carrier. The method includes uniformly aligning the irregular-shaped product(s) in the carrier and securing the carrier and product(s) by enclosing them with a wrap.
