Abstract: A container for storing and transporting material includes a container body having a bottom wall and a pair of parallel spaced side walls connected with opposite edges of the bottom wall to define a chamber having first and second open ends. A pair of ramp walls are connected with the container body adjacent the first and second open ends, respectively. Each ramp wall includes at least one pivot assembly, which provides pivotal movement of the ramp wall between closed and open positions, respectively. Preferably, the pivot assembly includes at least one pivot shaft extending through one end of the ramp wall and at least one counterbalancing helical torsion spring cooperating with the pivot shaft to bias the ramp wall during movement between closed and open positions.

Abstract: The present invention is related to a contact lens package with a heat sealable multilayer packaging lidstock formed from: a support layer and a peelable seal layer made from a polymer blend, such polymer blend formed from a material: from 40 to 85% by weight of one or more first amorphous cyclic olefin polymer(s) characterized by a glass transition temperature of at least 120° C. from 10 to 55% by weight of one or more second amorphous cyclic olefin polymer(s) characterized by a glass transition temperature of less than 120° C., and from 0.5 to 15% by weight, preferably 0.5 to 10% by weight of at least one elastomeric copolymer comprising at least one polymerized monovinylarene and at least one polymerized acyclic olefin.

Abstract: A carry case for an electronics-enabled eyewear device, such as smart glasses, has charging contacts that are movable relative to a storage chamber in which the eyewear device is receivable. The charging contacts are connected to a battery carried by the case for charging the eyewear device via contact coupling of the charging contacts to corresponding contact formations on an exterior of the eyewear device. The charging contacts are in some instances mounted on respective flexible walls defining opposite extremities of the storage chamber. The contact formations on the eyewear device are in some instances provided by hinge assemblies that couple respective temples to a frame of the eyewear device.

The retainer comprises an engagement feature to engage with the container to limit movement of the retainer. In another embodiment, a knife blade retainer is configured to be received in a container. The retainer includes a generally trapezoidal shape defined therein to contact multiple faces of a trapezoidal shape of blades received therein. An engagement feature engages with the container to limit movement of the retainer within the container.

The side plates are hinged to the base and foldable relative to the base (1). Each of the side plates is smooth at both sides thereof and at least one pair of the side plates are each provided with a cavity in lower edges. When a collapsible box (100) is deployed, the lower edges of one pair of side plate are connected with the lower edges of the other pair of side plates so as to form a frame. The frame is hinged to the base (1) by means of hinges, so as to form a reinforced structure which resists the base from depressing and the protrusion edge from recessing.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods of manufacture and implementations of cable storage and dispensing systems combining the advantages of reel-based systems and box-based systems. The present system may be manufactured entirely out of corrugated cardboard or similar materials, reducing expense and weight compared to systems with wood, plastic, or metal reels or flanges, and adding recyclability in a single paper-based waste stream. The system may dispense cable in the same manner as reel-based systems, reducing tangling and aiding installation and deployment compared to box-based systems that do not utilize reels or spools. The system does not require the use of reel stands or other external components, and may be light and portable.

A release liner may be removed from a bottom surface of the partition to adhesively bond the partition to the relevant storage surface. Double-sided adhesive tape could also be applied to the bottom surface of the partition to adhesively bond the partition to the relevant storage surface.

In accordance with aspects and embodiments, a child-safe packaging system is provided comprising a cardstock inner package having an internal cavity dimensioned to hold a product and a cardstock outer sleeve having an open end a closed end, wherein the inner package is sized to frictionally fit within the outer sleeve. To access the inner package, force must be applied to the inner package through an access hole in the outer sleeve. To further safeguard the contents of the inner package, the frictional fit may be enhanced by application of a coating to portions of the inner packaging and outer sleeve, and the inner package may be made shorter than the outer sleeve.
