Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to processing asset transfers. A computing platform may receive an asset transfer request and extract information from it. The computing platform may modify a distributed ledger to include a new block corresponding to the asset transfer request. The computing platform may identify a consensus method by identifying, for each of a plurality of consensus methods, a subset of blocks from the distributed ledger that, when used to execute the corresponding consensus method, result in a lowest energy consumption value in comparison to remaining subsets of blocks. The computing platform may execute each consensus method using the corresponding identified subset of blocks, which may result in establishing consensus to process the asset transfer request. Based on establishing the consensus, the computing platform may direct an event processing platform to process the asset transfer request, which may cause the event processing platform to process the request accordingly.

Abstract: The current invention pertains to the novel, nonobvious, and applicable design and development of an algorithmic system for dynamic conditional asset pricing output and financial intelligence technology platform automation. Core technicality entails the consistent estimation of dynamic conditional alphas after one controls for myriad fundamental characteristics such as market risk, size, value, momentum, asset investment growth, and operating profitability through recursive multivariate filtration. Conditional specification test evidence supports the use of the dynamic conditional multifactor asset pricing model against the static alternatives. The fintech platform allows users to interact with one another by transmitting valuable units of financial intelligence and information in an online social network. The information units include dynamic conditional alpha rank order, key financial ratio summary, quadripartite visualization of financial data, and financial statement analysis.

Abstract: Methods and systems for fault tolerant token based transactions are described. A user may perform a transaction with a mobile device. The mobile device may be in an offline mode or may be lacking a network connection to servers or cloud devices of a mobile payment system. The transaction may be processed through a transaction device, which may aid in the sending and receiving of transaction data while the mobile device is in the offline mode. The transaction device may communicate with the server or cloud device and the server or cloud device may process the transaction and communicate with the transaction device, which may forward data from the server or cloud device to the mobile device.

Abstract: A system and method may collect telematics and/or other data, and apply the data to insurance-based applications. From the data, an insurance provider may determine accurate vehicle usage information, including information regarding who is using a vehicle and under what conditions. An insurance provider may likewise determine risk levels or a risk profile for an insured driver (or other drivers), which may be used to adjust automobile or other insurance policies. The insurance provider may also use the data collected to adjust behavior based insurance using incentives, recommendations, or other means. For customers that opt-in to the data collection program offered, the present embodiments present the opportunity to demonstrate a low or moderate risk lifestyle and the chance for insurance-related savings based upon that low or moderate risk.

Abstract: According to one aspect of the invention, health insurance claim data for a first group of individuals is obtained to generate a training corpus, including a training set of claim data and a holdout set of claim data. The first group of individuals represents enrollees of one or more first health insurance plans and the health insurance claim data represents historic insurance claim information for each individual in the first group. A Bayesian belief network (BBN) model is created by training a BBN network based on the training set of claim data using predetermined machine learning algorithms. The BBN model is validated using the holdout set of claim data. The BBN model, when having been successfully validated, is configured to identify at least one of individuals with risk for a disorder and individuals with risk who are most likely to benefit from intervention and treatment for the disorder.

Abstract: A system for replacing a personal item is disclosed. The system can include a tag device attached or associated with a personal item, like a camera, portable computer, tablet or bicycle. Once the personal item loses connection with a home network, the system can designate the personal item as being missing, and in some cases issue a dynamic insurance policy. If the personal item is then lost or stolen, a service provider can determine the loss of the personal item and send a replacement item.

The plan authoring tool can convert the user input into a machine structured plan description (MSPD) that defines the benefit plan. The MSPD can be used by a plan documentation generator to generate one or more plan documents that explain the benefits and/or indicate how to manually adjudicate claims submitted in association with the benefit plan. The MSPD can also be used to automatically adjudicate claims. Plan analysis tools can be used to evaluate an MSPD to validate a new or edited benefit plan and/or provide user feedback on the benefit plan so that users, if desired, can revise the MSPD via the plan authoring tool.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method, system and software that provide a predictive model responsive to the correlation of news articles to stock price movement. The invention analyzes the derivative or ratio of events to drive predictions in a responsive manner. The invention considers derivatives or ratios of news meta-data within a small window in the past relative to a larger window of news items in the past. The invention may use a sentiment engine and apply the derivative of sentiment to predict volatility and/or trend direction of price of a security. The invention may look to the content, context, and derivative of sentiment to weigh news stories according to a predetermined taxonomy factoring in recency, criticality, repeatedness, trustworthiness, etc. to predict stock price behavior. Also, the invention may be used to forecast events given stock price movement and news to predict an impending story or release of significance.

Abstract: The disclosure provides an early notification system to alert a driver of an approaching unsafe autonomous or semi-autonomous driving zone so that a driver may switch vehicle to a non-autonomous driving mode and navigate safely through the identified location. In response, to a determination of an upcoming unsafe autonomous or semi-autonomous driving zone, the driver or system may take appropriate actions in response to the early notification.

Abstract: A method of presenting transactions to a user via a client device for review. Each of the transactions and transactions details are presented in a transaction cell. The user swipes the corresponding transaction cell, thus assigning the associated transaction to a category. In detecting a swipe across a transaction cell, a temporary (yet visible) pause of the swipe interaction is performed, alongside the presentation of an action prompt within the transaction cell directed to performing actions relevant to the transaction. Constrained by a swipe pause timer (SPT), the user is provided a short time window in which to engage the action prompt in order to pursue the actions disclosed by the action prompt. If engagement of the action prompt is not pursued by the user prior to the elapsing of the SPT, the swipe interaction proceeds without hindering the speed with which the user typically reviews a transaction.

Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques that include use of a distributed ledger to arrange for and/or initiate provisioning of network services, and also to validate payment for such network services. In one example, this disclosure describes a method that includes modifying, by a computing system, a distributed ledger maintained by a consensus network to implement a smart contract that is configured to generate, in response to receiving a request for network services, a provisioning request; receiving the provisioning request, by the computing system and from a computing device on the consensus network that is executing the smart contract, wherein the provisioning request includes information describing requested network services; and provisioning, by the computing system and based on the information describing the requested network services, network services.
