  • Patent number: 11641132
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provided methods and apparatus for controlling switching a power supply of a first network node between an electrical power grid and an alternative power supply in which the first network node is configured to transmit data to a second network node over a data transmission link. The method includes receiving first information indicative of a predicted decrease in a transmission rate of data transmitted by the first network node over the data transmission link. Responsive to receiving the first information, a first request is transmitted to the first network node to switch the power supply of the first network node from the electrical power grid to the alternative power supply.

  • Patent number: 11630428
Abstract: A sampling device receives, from a transducer computing device located within a predefined proximity to an equipment in an operating environment, a vibration sample from the operating environment and increments a retrain counter. In response to determining that the incremented retrain counter does not meet or exceed a retrain threshold, the sampling device predicts, using a model, an anomalous or non-anomalous designation for the vibration sample and a cluster assignment, to a particular cluster of a set of clusters, for the vibration sample when the model predicts the non-anomalous designation for the vibration sample. The sampling device receives a subsequent vibration sample and further increments the retrain counter. In response to determining that the further incremented retrain counter exceeds a retrain threshold, the sampling device receives a subsequent set of vibration samples and retrains, using the subsequent vibration sample and the subsequent set of vibration samples, the model.

  • Patent number: 11616389
Abstract: A method recognizes topology in low-voltage networks including local substations each having a plurality of output lines connected to a controllable electrical resource, and a control apparatus of each local substation. The method uses a computer arrangement assigning resources to the control apparatuses based on geographical proximity, selecting an assigned resource, transmitting a test control command specific to the selected resource from the control apparatus to the assigned resources, the test control command configured to trigger a change in power consumption or power output of the selected resource, measuring a change in an electrical variable on the output lines of the local substation by using a measuring apparatus, and assigning the selected electrical resource to that output line of that local substation on which a correlation between test control command and change is recognized. An arrangement for recognizing a topology in a low-voltage network is also provided.

  • Patent number: 11599033
Abstract: Three-dimensional printing methods and systems use a derived geometry and aligns anisotropic inclusions in any orientation at any number of discrete volumetric sections. Structural, thermal, or geometry-based analyses are combined with inclusion alignment computations and print preparation methods and provided to 3D printers to produce composite material parts that meet demanding geometric needs as well as enhanced structural and thermal requirements. In one example, optimal inclusion alignment vectors associated with a section of the object are calculated based on specifications for the object, segmenting a three-dimensional model of the object into layer slices, grouping each section within each layer slice having similar alignment vectors and combining the groupings and generating printing instructions for the object according to the grouped alignment vectors.

  • Patent number: 11595226
Abstract: A system for collecting building environmental sensor data includes a first data collection device having a first transceiver that is configured to receive data from proximate building environmental sensors and a second transceiver that is configured to communicate with an external service. The device will, upon detecting that the first transceiver is within a receiving range of a first building environmental sensor, communicatively connect with the first building environmental sensor to receive a data stream that comprises sensor data captured by the first building environmental sensor. The device will continue to receive the data stream until the first transceiver either receives all of the sensor data or moves out of the receiving range. The device will repeat this process for additional building environmental sensors. The device will use its second transceiver to transfer the sensor data to the external service.

  • Patent number: 11596079
Abstract: Tools and techniques are described to automate commissioning of physical spaces. Controllers have access to databases of the devices that are controlled by them, including wiring diagrams and protocols, such that the controller can automatically check that each wire responds correctly to stimulus from the controller. Controllers also have access to databases of the physical space such that they can check that sensors in the space record the correct information for device activity, and sensors can cross-check each other for consistency. Once a physical space is commissioned, incentives can be sought based on commissioning results.

  • Patent number: 11588332
Abstract: A method, system and computer-readable medium where an integrator application identifies an excess energy condition based on a supply load of electricity exceeding a consumptive load. The integrator application directs an air scrubber to utilize the excess electricity to remove carbon dioxide from the ambient air and routes the carbon dioxide to an enhanced coal bed methane well where methane is displaced by the carbon dioxide. In response to identifying an energy deficient condition based on the consumptive load exceeding the supply load, the integrator application routes the methane to a gas power plant and directs the gas power plant to convent the methane to electricity.

  • Patent number: 11553618
Abstract: Tools and techniques are described to modify a defined space state depending on number of users in the space and/or preferences of users in the space. In some embodiments, users entering or leaving a space are noticed by network systems. A controller then modifies resources in the space to account for the greater or lesser load. In other cases, the network system notices that a specific user has entered a building. This user may have preferences stored in the system which the building control system then responds to by changing state of a device that controls physical state within the space.
