Abstract: An electric toothbrush with a thinner handle part to ensure the ease of manual tooth-brushing while improving the ease of a switch operation between the operating state and the stopped state, the electric toothbrush being configured to realize an effective oral cleaning by automatically giving a necessary mechanical assistance to a brush part according to the brushing state constantly varying during tooth-brushing depending on the cleaned part and the ways of holding and moving the toothbrush.
Abstract: A drain snake (4) with a ball (8, 42) on a forward end of a cable (6), the ball having a convex leading surface (36) with a protrusion (10, 44) designed to act as a foot that steps over the end (22, 30) of a pipe (24) in an elbow (26) as the snake is rotated (32). In an embodiment, the protrusion may terminate laterally at 60-150% of a maximum lateral extent (R, 37) of the ball or the protrusion may be limited to the lateral extent of the ball. The protrusion may form a rotationally asymmetric surface arrangement on the ball. The protrusion may have a forward cutting edge (48, 53) and may have a lateral cutting edge (52). The cable (6) may be designed to flex laterally while remaining substantially inelastic axially under manual feed and retraction forces.
Abstract: A toothbrush is disclosed. The toothbrush includes a brush head including one or more cleaning elements; a handle; and a neck connecting the brush head and the handle. The one or more cleaning elements include at least one or more elastomeric cleaning elements having a first plastic material and one or more bristle tuft cleaning elements. The at least one or more cleaning elements are embedded into a second plastic material by over-molding. The Shore hardness of the second plastic material is greater than the Shore hardness of the first plastic material and the brush head is formed from the second plastic material during over-molding of the one or more cleaning elements.

The brush removes embedded plaque. The brush is mechanically coupled to the shaft so the shaft rotates the brush. An actuator is coupled to the housing. The actuator is electrically coupled to the motor. The actuator actuates and de-actuates the motor.
Abstract: A porous material for insertion cleaning of instruments is provided, such porous material including an at least partially open-cell foam body and a surface configured to enable an instrument having contaminants to be inserted into the body. The body may be configured to substantially grip the instrument to remove a substantial portion of the contaminants from the instrument.
Abstract: A ticket scraping device for scraping an obscurant layer off of a ticket includes a housing that is substantially rectangularly box shaped. A first slot is centrally positioned in a top of the housing. The first slot is sized such that an end of a ticket is insertable into the first slot. A second slot is complementary to the first slot and is positioned in a front of the housing. A wall extends from a perimeter of the first slot to a rim of the second slot, defining a channel that extends from the first slot to the second slot. A scraper is coupled to the wall and extends into the channel. The first slot is configured for insertion of the ticket and the scraper is configured to remove an obscurant layer from the ticket as the ticket is directed past the scraper to the second slot.
Abstract: An endodontic instrument servicing system may comprise a socket-forming member that may include spaced wall members that define a socket. An at least partially open-cell foam body may be secured within the socket that is configured for cleaning contaminated instruments. The body may have an indentation force deflection greater than 120 pounds force (lbf) and be configured to substantially grip a rotating contaminated instrument in contact with the body without tearing the foam body.
Abstract: A toilet brush that is self-cleaning and retractable for hygienic storage. The toilet brush includes a handle, a connecting shaft, a tubular enclosure, a removable brush, a plurality of ultraviolet (UV) light sources, and a battery. The handle is terminally connected to the connecting shaft to provide a user with a grasping element. The removable brush is adjacently and concentrically to the connected shaft, opposite the handle. The tubular enclosure houses the removable brush and is positioned concentric with the connecting shaft, adjacent to the removable brush. Additionally, the tubular enclosure is slidably mounted to the connected shat, opposite the handle. The plurality of UV light sources kills or inactivates microorganisms on the removable brush. As such, the plurality of UV light sources is distributed about an inner surface of the tubular enclosure and is powered by the battery. The battery is internally mounted within the connecting shaft.
Abstract: A cleaning device operable for use with a disposable cleaning towel is provided. The cleaning device includes a handle, a head, first and second clamps, and an ejector. The handle extends between a proximal end portion and a distal end portion. The head is disposed relative to the distal end portion of the handle. The head defines a head surface over which the disposable cleaning towel is fixed during use of the cleaning device. The head defines a head cavity and a head aperture extending between the head cavity and the head mating surface. The first and second clamps are disposed relative to the head, and each are selectively moveable between a closed position and an open position. In their respective closed positions, at least a portion of each of the first and second clamps is operable to abut the head surface and hold the cleaning towel in place. In their respective open positions, each of the first and second clamps is positioned away from the head surface.

Abstract: A toothbrush is provided. The toothbrush includes an elongated shaft having a brushing head removably attached thereon configured to extend and retract the brushing head from a handle portion. The handle portion is configured to support the brushing head, a rotating assembly, and an antimicrobial assembly. The rotating assembly is configured to rotatably drive the brushing head in either clockwise rotation or counterclockwise rotation. The antimicrobial assembly is configured to sterilize the brushing head and the elongated shaft shaft when retracted within the handle portion. The handle portion further includes a control panel on an exterior face of the handle portion configured to allow a user to operate the rotating assembly and/or the antimicrobial assembly. In this way, the toothbrush allows a user to achieve optimal cleaning of his teeth without introducing harmful microorganisms into his oral cavity.
Abstract: A vehicle interior detailing tool is provided. The device comprises a handheld assembly that is used to clean the slats of a vehicle climate control vent, whereby the tool is inserted into the vent and in between the slats thereover to clean the same. The tool comprises a handle end and a plurality of tines extending therefrom. The tines extend parallel therefrom and each supports an elongated cleaning sleeve thereon. The cleaning sleeves are used to contact the surfaces of the vent and physical remove dirt, dust, and foreign debris thereon. The sleeves are elastic members that conform to the separate of the slats and fit therebetween, bearing on the surfaces to physical clean the same. The sleeves can further support a cleaning solution.
Abstract: A soot trap for use in chimney cleaning which includes a soot trap housing having a bottom, a circumferential sidewall, and a top which together define an interior cavity. The bottom and the top have axially aligned push rod pass through openings. A closure is provided in one of the top or the bottom to provide access to the interior cavity of the housing. A sequential series of push rod wipers is stacked loosely in the interior cavity of the housing. Each push rod wiper has an opening that is in axial alignment with the push rod pass through openings, such that the sequential series of push rod wipers wipe soot into the interior cavity of the housing as a push rod passes through the push rod pass through openings.

One footwear cleaning apparatus includes a box having an open top surface for receiving a piece of footwear; and a plurality of brushes arrayed within the box and positioned substantially parallel to a bottom surface of the box, wherein the plurality of brushes includes at least one first brush configured to contact a first side surface of the piece of footwear, at least one second brush configured to contact a different, second side surface of the piece of footwear, and at least one third brush configured to contact a bottom surface of the piece of footwear, and wherein the at least one first brush and the at least one second brush are configured to, when actuated, rotate towards a center of the box about an axis that is substantially parallel to the bottom surface of the box.
Abstract: A wheel well ice buildup removal assembly includes a cylinder having a first end, a second end and a perimeter wall. The first and second ends each have an opening extending therethrough. A rod extends through the first end and has an outer end positioned outside of the cylinder and an inner end positioned in the cylinder. A head is attached to the inner end and has a distal end that is pointed extending outwardly of the second end. The distal end is positionable in a retracted condition positioned within the cylinder and a deployed condition positioned outside of the cylinder. A spring is mounted within the cylinder and biases the head away from the first end and outwardly of the second end. The rod is pulled outwardly away from the first end and released to cause the head to forcibly extend from the cylinder.
Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning a bolt having a threaded portion with a longitudinal axis of rotation. The apparatus includes a bolt receiving portion and a cleaning member. The bolt receiving portion has a throughway configured to receive the threaded portion of the bolt when the threaded portion is rotating about the longitudinal axis of rotation. The cleaning member is coupled to the bolt receiving portion and has a plurality of cleaning projections positioned to contact and clean the threaded portion of the bolt as the rotating threaded portion of the bolt passes through the throughway. The projections may be bristles or pins. Optionally, the bolt receiving portion may include a plurality of throughways each configured to receive a threaded portion having a different outer diameter. Optionally, the apparatus may include a handle portion that may be selectively couplable to the bolt receiving portion.

Abstract: Devices and methods for keeping an internal cavity of an implant or specifically an internal cavity provided in a fixture constituting an implant in a clean state by a simple operation without injuring the gingiva around the fixture is provided. A brush for cleaning the inside of an implant provided with a twisted brush part in which helical brush bristles are formed around the wire rod by arranging a large number of resin fibers in parallel in a direction perpendicular to a wire rod and then, by twisting the wire rod, an intermediate columnar part to which the twisted brush part is fixed, and a main columnar part to which the intermediate columnar part is fixed, where a length in a major axis direction of the intermediate columnar part is within a range of 0.8 to 2.0, assuming that a length in a major axis direction of the twisted brush part is 1.
Abstract: Disclosed is a skin washing apparatus using a brushless DC motor, including: a case for the skin washing apparatus; an operation unit installed outside the case, for commanding an ON/OFF operation of the skin washing apparatus and an switching operation for forward and reverse rotations in unit of a predetermined angle; a brushless DC motor installed inside the case to be operated by electric power received from the power supply so as to be rotated forwardly and reversely in unit of a predetermined angle; a control unit for outputting an electrical signal for controlling forward and reverse rotations of the brushless electric motor by a predetermined angle in response to a switching signal of the operation unit; and a skin washing brush mounted on a shaft of the brushless electric motor to be rotated forwardly and reversely according to an operation of the brushless electric motor.
