    Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for displaying a web page on a computer screen. The method and system provide zoom in and out viewing of the web page as the web page is constructed. In accordance with the method, a browser determines whether web object display has exceeded a current zoomed view of the web page and zooms out the current zoomed view to accommodate additional web objects if display has exceeded the current zoomed view. The browser processes all of the web objects to display the entire web page with all of the web objects. The browser then zooms back into the current view of the web page to only an initial portion of the web page. A scroll indicator is displayed in conjunction with the current view of the web page to permit a user to access portions of the web page that are not displayed within the current view.

    Abstract: A system and method that centrally manages desktop packages is provided allowing the administrator to recover component files previously sent to servers located throughout the organization. Applications are assigned to users and workstations. Self-contained desktop packages are transmitted to servers. The servers, in turn, provide the desktop packages to clients. The packages and the components included in the packages include unique identifiers used to identify the packages and components. A manifest is maintained detailing the individual components included in each of the self-contained desktop files. When a disaster event occurs at the administrator's computer system, the administrator retrieves the self-contained desktop files from the servers to which the packages were previously transmitted. The administrator repopulates the component libraries by unpacking the components from the self-contained desktop files.

Furthermore, the device drivers can command the music player to suspend and resume playback of music items during selected periods.

An insertion point is then placed within the object. The user may then enter keystrokes or other data into the second object. If the keystroke combination is again entered, the insertion point is returned to its location immediately prior to moving the insertion point to the aside object. The keystroke combination for creating an aside and the keystroke combination for returning from the aside may be identical. Asides may also be created in various portions of an electronic document, such as a title portion, in a similar manner.
