  • Patent number: 10890061
Abstract: A rig management system is disclosed. The rig management system may gather, from a set of sensors, data that includes: vibration data related to vibration of a valve associated with a pump of a hydraulic fracturing rig during operation of the pump, and pump speed data related to a speed of the pump during operation of the pump. The rig management system may process the data to identify a trend related to the vibration data, wherein the vibration data has been normalized based on the pump speed data. The rig management system may determine a remaining useful life of the valve based on the trend and threshold data that identifies a set of thresholds related to the vibration of the valve. The rig management system may determine that the remaining useful life satisfies a threshold. The rig management system may schedule an operation to be performed on the valve.

  • Patent number: 10883845
Abstract: Methods for detecting the passing of a virtual tolling point by a vehicle travelling on a road network are performed by systems and apparatuses. In the methods, a sequence of distances between position fixes and the virtual tolling point are calculated, where the position fixes are sequentially obtained from a GNSS receiver carried by the vehicle. The sequence of distances are searched for a global minimum followed by an increase and, if such is found, then the passing of the virtual tolling point is detected. Otherwise, a new distance calculated between a newly obtained position fix and the virtual tolling point is appended to the sequence while discarding the oldest distance from the sequence. The method is then repeated from the sequence of distances being searched until the passing of the virtual tolling point is detected.

Abstract: There is provide a method for controlling a shape measuring apparatus that synchronize an acceleration/deceleration changing timing of a velocity pattern with a control sampling cycle, and prevents a control lag. Based on a shape of a movement path set based on preliminarily-obtained shape data of an object to be measured, a velocity pattern for a probe to move along the movement path. It is determined whether a velocity changing timing of the velocity pattern is synchronized with a control sampling cycle of a shape measuring apparatus. When the velocity changing timing of the velocity pattern is not synchronized with the control sampling cycle, the velocity pattern is corrected such that the velocity changing timing of the velocity pattern is synchronized with the control sampling cycle of the shape measuring apparatus.
