Abstract: A method for determining a physical parameter of an adjustable upper link of a three-point hitch during a working operation thereof includes providing a lower link of the three-point hitch and an implement attachable to the upper and lower links of the three-point hitch. The method includes generating calibration data prior to the working operation of the three-point hitch, where the calibration data defines a relationship of a length of the upper link to an upper link angle defined between the upper link and a reference line. Moreover, the calibration data is used to determine a physical parameter of the adjustable upper link during the working operation.

  • Patent number: 11032627
Abstract: Sensor data immediately after the issuance of an alarm does not exhibit the peculiarity of a failure, with the result that the wrong component is sometimes erroneously identified as the failure component. A failure component identification unit provided in a maintenance device collects an alarm issued when a measurement value exceeds a range of a measurement threshold value in an apparatus being a maintenance target. The failure component identification unit identifies the failure component on the basis of the measurement value exhibiting a condition indicating a peculiarity of the failure. An identification reliability determination unit determines the reliability of the component identification result obtained by a failure component identification unit.

  • Patent number: 11017898
Abstract: A method and system that allows various sensor types to be connected to common input ports of a patient monitor. The system includes a data acquisition module that identifies the type of sensor connected to each one of a plurality of input ports. Once the sensor type has been identified, the data acquisition module configures amplification circuits and input circuits such that the output signal from the sensor is properly received and amplified within the patient monitor. The properly amplified output signal from the sensor, along with a sensor identifier, is supplied to a controller of the patient monitor. In this manner, the patient monitor can identify the type of sensor connected to each input port and properly display the conditioned output signal from the sensor.

  • Patent number: 10993676
Abstract: A method and apparatus for estimating the frequency of a dominant periodic component in an input signal by modelling the input signal using auto-regressive models of several different orders to generate candidate frequencies for the periodic component, generating synthetic sinusoidal signals of each of the candidate frequencies, and calculating the cross-correlation of the synthetic signals with the original signal. The frequency of whichever of the synthetic signals has the highest cross-correlation with the original signal is taken as the estimate of the frequency for the dominant periodic component of the input signal. The method may be applied to any noisy signal which has a suspected periodic component, for example physiological signals such as photoplethysmogram signals, and in the estimation of heart rate and breathing rate from such physiological signals.

  • Patent number: 10976357
Abstract: A method for determining the fault location of a ground fault relating to a line of a three-phase electrical energy supply network with an ungrounded neutral point, in which current and voltage values are measured at one line end of the line. Following the occurrence of a ground fault on the line, the location of the fault is defined using the measured current and voltage values. The measured current and voltage values are converted into ?-components and 0-components of a Clarke transformation, a location-dependent characteristic function of ?-component and 0-component fault voltage values is defined in each case using the converted components and a propagation model for travelling waves on the line. The fault location is determined to be the location at which the two characteristic functions exhibit the closest match.

  • Patent number: 10976180
Abstract: Systems and methods detect steps from one or more sensed accelerometer signals. Systems comprise an accelerometer and a non-transitory computer readable medium, each of which communicates with a processor. The accelerometer is coupled to an individual and generates outputs received by the processor. The non-transitory computer readable medium stores instructions controlling the processor to perform steps of a method. The processor determines a minimum and a maximum reading for respective time periods. Counted peak heights are maxima that exceed a rest threshold. The rest threshold may be a function of the rest maximum. The processor determines a peak threshold for each time period having a counted peak height. A counted amplitude comprises the difference between the maximum reading and minimum readings of a time period in which the counted peak height exceeds the peak threshold. The processor increments a step counter when a counted amplitude exceeds an amplitude threshold.
