Abstract: Some aspects of the present disclosure are directed to computerized methods for extracting attributes from product titles. The method may include: retrieving first product identifier comprising at least one tag; determining, based on the at least one tag, a number of quantity related tags; flagging the product identifier as having a quantity based on an analysis of the quantity related tags; comparing the at least one tag and quantity of the first product identifier with at least one tag and quantity associated with a second product identifier; generating, based on the comparison, at least one similarity value between the first product identifier and the second product identifier; and transmitting instructions to at least one user device, wherein the instructions cause the at least one user device to display the at least one similarity value.

Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for visual search, discovery, and attribution in e-commerce systems. One example method includes receiving an image to be used as a basis for a visual search. At least one clothing item in the image and a determined clothing type for each clothing item are identified. A highlighted image is generated that includes highlights of the identified at least one clothing item and determined clothing types. The highlighted image is provided. A selection of a selected clothing item on the highlighted image is received. In response to receiving the selection of the selected clothing item, a visual search is performed that includes searching a clothing item repository to find similar clothing items that are visually similar to the selected clothing item. Information for the similar clothing items is provided in response to the selection of the selected clothing item.

Abstract: A system includes a federated marketplace portal to allow a user to browse, order, and manage business services offered by a plurality of cloud marketplaces based at least in part on application programming interface (API) abstractions. The system includes an integration system to transform the API abstractions into product-specific APIs used by the cloud marketplaces and cause the invocation of the product-specific APIs.

Abstract: Systems and methods involving a computer-implemented portal that enables a user to pre-authorize purchase of items not yet available for sale are disclosed. In one embodiment, an exemplary method may comprise: providing an online portal that enables a user to manage a financial account; executing a first routine of the portal including interactive functionality enabling the user to specify and pre-authorize purchase of an item that is not yet available for sale; searching to determine at least one electronic source at which the item can be purchased when it becomes available for purchase; and executing a purchase transaction at the future date/time when the item is released for sale, to purchase the item for the user.

Abstract: An easy authentication or payment is made by creating an account associated with a particular web browser or device that accesses an on-line page. Payments are made, such as for full-access viewing of an article or viewing content without visible ads, by selecting a payment button on the on-line page. Selection can be with a specific swiping motion or device motion previously defined for the user. Once selected, the payment is made without the user having to authorize or authenticate. The motion can be used independently to authorize or authenticate the user through the device.

Abstract: One embodiment provides a method, including: detecting, on a social media application, a media object comprising at least one image of a final product made from at least one purchased raw product; extracting, from the media object and text corresponding to the social media application post, (i) information related to the final product and (ii) social feedback regarding the final product; determining, based upon the social feedback, that the use of the at least one purchased raw product into the final product comprises positive social feedback; and providing a recommendation regarding the use of the at least one purchased raw product to one or more other individuals, wherein the recommendation is generated using the information related to the final product.

Abstract: A processor-based system stores different card templates in a database. Each card template has a card feature that can have any color from among a first set of colors. The system also stores, in the database, for each stored card templates, a corresponding envelope template. Each envelope template has an envelope feature that can have any color from among a second set of colors. The system receives a user selection of a card template from among the card templates and a user selection of a color to be applied to the card feature. The system displays the card template, with the card feature having the user-selected color. The system also displays the corresponding envelope template that corresponds, in the database, to the selected card template. The envelope feature is displayed with the user-selected color based on the user-selected color having been selected for the card feature.

Abstract: Systems and methods for processing customer requests to access purchasable items using financial assessments are described. A customer using a mobile device can identify a good of interest and transmit a request to access and test it. A financial institution computing system with a database of customer financial information can generate a financial assessment of the customer and the customer's identified good, which can then be used to determine whether the customer's request should be granted.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for generating profiles using machine learning and influencing online interactions are provided. The methods include receiving, from a first user of a plurality of users, a first set of electronic documents, where each electronic document in the first set of electronic documents corresponds to a respective user in the plurality of users. The methods also include identifying a plurality of user profiles, where each of the plurality of user profiles was generated by processing a corpus of electronic documents associated with each respective user using a first trained machine learning model. The methods include determining a plurality of match coefficients, based on comparing a plurality of user profiles associated with each respective user in the plurality of users, filtering the first set of electronic documents based on the plurality of match coefficients, and providing the filtered first set of electronic documents to the first user.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes: monitoring, by a user device, a location of the user device; determining, by the user device and based on the monitoring, that the user is within a threshold distance or a threshold arrival time of the service provider location; and outputting, by the user device, user information to the service provider based on the determining that the user is within the threshold distance or the threshold arrival time of the service provider location. The user information indicates services to provide to the user by the service provider upon the user's arrival to the service provider location. The outputting causes the service provider to receive the user information for serving the user upon the user's arrival to the service provider location.

Abstract: A method for merchant-side tracking of customer selections includes receiving, via a user list script on a merchant webpage, a user selection of a product representation displayed on a UI of a user device. The method includes updating a user list with the user selection, the user list associated with a generic user representation. The method includes determining, based on a type of identifier associated with a user of the user device, to use a generic user representation with the user list. The method includes selecting, based on the generic user representation, an anonymous user flow type for tracking the user as an anonymous user of the merchant webpage. The anonymous user flow type associates the user device with the user list independently of associating the user with the merchant.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, devices, and the like for presenting a recommendation. In one embodiment, a system is introduced that includes a plurality of models for obtaining a recommendation score. The recommendation score may be obtained using one or more recommendation models and a recommendation made based on the recommendation score determined. In another embodiment, the system is introduced that can re-train the recommendation model based on a feedback received in response to a recommendation made using on the recommendation score obtained.

Abstract: A system, method and tools for normalizing product reviews and the presentation of product information viewed within a vendor's virtual storefront. Disclosed embodiments customize a user's navigation experience of a vendor's virtual storefront to be normalized to a target user's profile, social media or past information of the target user to prioritize relevant product reviews while de-prioritizing irrelevant ones. Normalization occurs through the identification of product reviews relevant to the target user's age, interests, purchasing history, activity levels, sizing, environment, location and internet activity or other distinguishing settings, features or information known. Sensor measurements from one or more TOT devices provide additional information which can be used to normalize the product reviews.

Abstract: A computing system generates recommendations for users within the context of a network service. To account for objectives of various users associated with the network service, some of which may not reach optimality at the same time, the computing system generates values associated with each of the objectives separately. For example, for each objective, the system may train a computer model to produce a representative value. To generate a recommendation of an entity for a user, the system uses the generated objective values as inputs to an optimization algorithm. The optimization step may use linear programming or quadratic programming to generate a recommendation score, for example. This two-step process allows the system to account for multiple objectives and makes the system easily adaptable to change when the set of objectives is updated.

Abstract: A method including training two sets of item embeddings for items in an item catalog and a set of user embeddings for users, using a triple embeddings model, with triplets. The triplets each can include a respective first user of the users, a respective first item from the item catalog, and a respective second item from the item catalog, in which the respective first user selected the respective first item and the respective second item in a respective same basket. The method also can include generating an approximate nearest neighbor index for the two sets of item embeddings. The method additionally can include receiving a basket including basket items selected by a user from the item catalog. The method additionally can include randomly sampling a respective anchor item from each of the categories.

Abstract: A catalog of physical items associated with a target user is accessed. At least a portion of the catalog is at least in part automatically generated based on a retention of one or more of the physical items provided to the target user. A machine learning model trained using outfit combination information gathered from other users is used to automatically determine for the target user, at least a portion of one or more recommended outfit combinations of a plurality of physical items among the physical items within the catalog. An indication of a selected one of the one or more recommended outfit combinations is provided to the target user.

Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for facilitating Do-It-Yourself (DIY) repairs. In the context of a method, an example embodiment includes receiving, by an experience-based repair service (EBRS) host system, vehicle diagnostic information identifying one or more vehicle problems. This example embodiment of the method further includes evaluating the vehicle diagnostic information, generating, based on the evaluation of the vehicle diagnostic information, required part types and required tools for addressing the one or more vehicle problems, and generating, based on the evaluation of the vehicle diagnostic information, recommended part types for addressing the one or more vehicle problems. Finally, this example embodiment of the method further includes causing presentation of an interface facilitating purchase of required parts from each of the generated required part types, the required tools, and recommended parts from each of the generated recommended part types.

Abstract: A system includes one or more memory devices storing instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform steps of a method for providing an interactive virtual environment. The system may receive environmental data, and augment the environmental data by adding virtual environmental data. The system may then provide this virtual environment to two or more devices. The system can then receive user input, and modify the virtual environment in response to those inputs.

Abstract: A method for creating a customized virtual shopping experience may include receiving physical-world shopping data of a first user. The physical-world shopping data may be collected while the first user is physically present in a physical-world shopping environment. The method may also include configuring a virtual shopping environment based at least in part on the physical-world shopping data of the first user, and displaying to the first user the virtual shopping environment.
