Abstract: A method for analyzing data from data sources includes receiving user selection of a data source and displaying an interface that includes a schema region and a plurality of shelf regions. Each data field in the schema region is associated with a respective system-defined object from the data source. In a first display mode, each data field is displayed as associated with a respective system-defined object. In a second display mode, each data field is displayed in a respective user-defined folder. The method also includes displaying a data visualization according to a user placement of first and second data fields into the first and second shelf regions.

Abstract: The present technology pertains to synchronizing contents of a directory external to a synchronized directory by a content management system. The content management system is configured to synchronize only objects in the synchronized directory. Accordingly, the present technology creates an anchor object that represents the directory external to the synchronized directory within the synchronized directory. The anchor object includes special attributes that indicate to the synchronization client that the anchor object represents an external directory, and allows the contents of that directory to be synchronized directly to a server on the content management system without first storing the contents of the external directory on the hard drive of the client device.

Abstract: Methods and systems for presenting time series for analysis. A method includes presenting a first visualization of summary information for an initial data set of a plurality of batches, presenting a filtered data set of the initial data set having a first batch identifier associated with a first batch and the second batch identifier associated with a second batch, executing a time series connector including transmitting a request to a time series application, the request comprising the first batch identifier, the second batch identifier, and the time series configuration data. The method further includes causing presentation of a user interface comprising a chart including a first plot for first time series data for the first batch identifier and a second plot for second time series data for the second batch identifier, the chart configured to the time series configuration data, and the first plot is aligned to the second plot.

Abstract: Methods and systems for presenting time series for analysis. A method may receive a first input defining a metric that indicates a relationship between a first and a second time series that are each associated with at least a first data object of a plurality of data objects, generate a first plot depicting the metric as determined from the first and the second time series, receive, via the user interface, a second input of a selection of a second data object of the plurality of data objects, determine, via an ontology, a relationship of the second data object with a third and a fourth time series that, respectively, are associated with series types that match series types associated with the first and the second time series, and generate and display, in the user interface, a second plot depicting the metric as determined from the third and the fourth time series.

In the first mode, a first input mechanism of the electronic device is disabled for user input. In the second mode, the first input mechanism of the electronic device is enabled for user input.

Abstract: Methods and systems for acquiring a freehand or cursive signature on a secondary device with a touch receiving surface for use on a primary device without a touch receiving surface are provided. The primary device sends a message to the secondary device requesting a signature. The user responds by signing her name, using a finger or stylus, on a touch receiving surface. As the user signs her name, the signature is displayed on the secondary device and transmitted to the primary device. The signature may then be stored, displayed, analyzed, or validated by the primary device.

Abstract: In a computing environment, a method for processing inputs from different users across multiple application windows resulting in a multi-user graphical user interface (GUI), the computing environment running an operating system (OS) designed to run with a single user GUI, the method including determining, in a primary application, separate from the OS, that a first user input corresponds to a first window and a second user input corresponds to a second window, the primary application sending the first and second user inputs to first and second secondary applications that run in parallel with the primary application, the first and second secondary applications being designed to run with the OS.

Abstract: A cross reality (XR) system that renders virtual content generated by executing native mode applications may be configured to render web-based content using components that render content from native applications. The system may include a Prism manager that provides Prisms in which content from executing native applications is rendered. For rendering web based content, a browser, accessing the web based content, may be associated with a Prism and may render content into its associated Prism, creating the same immersive experience for the user as when content is generated by a native application. The user may access the web application from the same program launcher menu as native applications. The system may have tools that enable a user to access these capabilities, including by creating for a web location an installable entity that, when processed by the system, results in an icon for the web content in a program launcher menu.
