  • Patent number: 9602294
Abstract: Techniques provide rendezvous point link (RPL) resiliency for bidirectional protocol independent multicast (PIM-BIDIR) in a computer network. According to the techniques, when two or more RPL partitions have a same RPL subnet, routers on the RPL subnet are configured to elect an active RPL partition that will function as a RPL. The routers on any inactive RPL partitions may then treat the inactive RPL partitions as regular links in the RPL subnet and build a route to the active RPL partition. In some examples, the network is configured to include the two or more RPL partitions with the same RPL subnet as Anycast RPLs in the network. In other examples, the routers on the RPL subnet are configured to detect when an original RPL is separated into the two or more RPL partitions due to a failure of the original RPL.

  • Patent number: 9586296
Abstract: A guide rod, which has a diameter expandable tip end portion and restricts the oscillation of a connecting rod and a piston, is inserted into a cylinder bore via an opening adjacent to a crank chamber of the cylinder bore, and the piston is inserted into the cylinder bore via a cylinder head mounting side opening with the connecting rod positioned at a leading end. The diameter of the tip end portion of the guide rod is increased in a hole of a semi-circular arc-shaped end portion positioned at tip end of the connecting rod in the insertion direction, and thus the connecting rod is engaged with the guide rod. The guide rod moves and the connecting rod is pulled into the cylinder bore until the semi-circular arc-shaped end portion of the connecting rod sits on a crankpin of a crankshaft.

  • Patent number: 9584416
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are disclosed to facilitate wireless communications. User equipment (UE), such as a mobile device, identifies data congestion and transmits a recommended data rate modification wireless signal (e.g., a recommended reduced data rate) to the base station that is transmitting data to the UE. The base station may reduce the data rate of the down link (DL) to the reduced data rate. The UE may then receive data from the base station at the reduced data rate. Therefore, flow control may be implemented at the base station side (e.g., sometimes referred to as the Network (NW) side) based upon the reduced data rate modification determined and transmitted by the UE to the base station. In this way, the data rate transmission to the UE can be reduced to allow the UE to successfully process received data and successfully perform its functions.

  • Patent number: 9562468
Abstract: A method for mounting and setting an actuator of an exhaust gas turbocharger and a suitable electric actuating device are provided. The actuating device has an axially movable actuating rod which is connected to a coupling element which for its part is connected via a pivot pin to an actuation section of a bypass valve, the actuation section being configured as a lever arm. In order to set the desired closed position of the bypass valve during a predefined actuation of the actuating device, the coupling element is first connected to the actuating rod while still being displaceable. Before the fixing, the position of the actuating device which corresponds to the closed position is set by application of the corresponding voltage to the electric actuating device. Subsequently, a prestressing force is applied to the coupling element coaxially with respect to the actuating rod via a pneumatic actuator.

  • Patent number: 9550226
Abstract: The present invention relates to a heat-dissipating device and a method for manufacturing the same. The heat-dissipating device includes a base and a first heat-dissipating fin. The outer periphery of the base has a trough. The first heat-dissipating fin has a first heat-dissipating portion, a first end and a second end. The first end and the second end are disposed in the trough. By a machining process, both ends of the first heat-dissipating fin are pressed into the trough of the base at a high speed, so that the base can be combined with the first heat-dissipating fin rapidly. In this way, the manufacture cost is reduced and the heat-dissipating efficiency is increased.
