  • Patent number: 10509100
Abstract: Disclosed herein are techniques and systems for tracking assets using wireless beacons attached to the assets. In some embodiments, an asset tracking system may receive asset tracking data from a mobile device. The asset tracking data may include a device identifier (ID) of a wireless beacon and GPS data (e.g., location and accuracy) of a mobile device in the vicinity of the beacon. The asset tracking system may determine whether the accuracy of the GPS location satisfies an accuracy threshold, and, if so, the asset tracking system may identify a site and determine whether the GPS location reported by the mobile device is within a static radius assigned to the site. If the GPS location is within the static radius assigned to the site, the asset tracking system may associate the wireless beacon to the site.

  • Patent number: 10488432
Abstract: Methods and systems for compensating for the absence or loss of a sensor measurement in a heading reference system such as an aircraft attitude and heading reference system, integrated standby unit, or vehicle inertial system, provides an estimate of the lost sensor measurement by estimating the bank angle after a detected vehicle turn. The estimate of the bank angle may also be used to estimate the vehicle's speed. Additionally, when the lost sensor measurement is a temperature measurement, the described methods and systems offer an improvement over estimating air temperature using a standard (e.g., ISA) model. The methods and systems also allow for the refinement of computed estimates using filtering techniques, such as low-pass or Kalman filtering. The methods may be iteratively repeated for each detected turn in order to maintain an accurate estimate of the lost sensor measurement or other estimates, such as vehicle speed.

  • Patent number: 10466135
Abstract: Systems and methods determine a pump efficiency of a fluid pump. A characteristic of fluid flow of a fluid is monitored at a first point and at a second point on a flow path of the fluid pump. Fluid leakage that is a difference in the characteristic of the fluid flow at the first point and the second point is determined. The fluid leakage is compared to a nominal fluid flow for the fluid pump. The pump efficiency for the fluid pump is generated based on the comparison of the fluid leakage to the nominal fluid flow. The pump efficiency is an indicator as to an amount of fluid leakage that is leaked from the flow path as compared to the amount of fluid leakage when operating with the minimal amount of fluid leakage.
