    Abstract: A universal keyed mounting kit for mounting a radio or the like to support brackets in the vehicle includes at least one mounting bracket member having a hole therein for attachment to the radio. The mounting bracket has a plurality of apertures each for passing therethrough a locking bracket. Each aperture includes a key structure for matching with a key structure on the locking bracket. A plurality of locking brackets are provided, each for passing through a corresponding aperture of the mounting bracket from a radio side of the mounting bracket to an outside thereof. Each locking member has a key structure for engaging the key structure of the corresponding mounting bracket. This eliminates the need for screws, nuts and bolts, glue, etc. for fixing the locking brackets to the mounting brackets. Preferably, the mounting brackets have a plurality of apertures at different angles so that the mounting bracket may be adapted to a wide variety of vehicle models.

    Abstract: An appliance mounting apparatus is provided for securing an appliance such as a radio to a vehicle instrument panel structure. A radio mount replacement bracket is secured to the inner wall of the vehicle instrument panel structure within the opening for receiving the appliance. The replacement bracket includes a first leg engaging the inner wall and a second leg extending from the first leg into the opening, with the second leg having tabs which replace the normally provided plastic mounting tabs of the structure. An upper reinforcement plate overlies the wall of the instrument structure opposite the first leg of the replacement bracket, for securing the plate, the wall and the first leg together with threaded fasteners. A brakcet is attached to the appliance radio having tabs which extend from the appliance and align with the tabs of the replacement bracket. The tabs of the appliance and the tabs of the replacement bracket are intersecured with rivets to support the appliance in place.

The vehicle roof-view mirror assembly or system for viewing the roof area and the space above the roof area maybe incorporated into the vehicle as original equipment or a factory installed assembly and/or is custom made for the make and model of vehicle on which the assembly is incorporated especially when the view expanding mirror is external to and forward of the vehicle windshield or windscreen. The adjustment of the mirror in order to better view the roof area may be done remotely by well known systems such as is used for the remote control of presently used side-view mirrors. There may also be incorporated a heater system in order to keep the mirror free of ice and snow.

    Abstract: A tiltable and rotatable base assembly for a monitor includes a substantially rectangular base plate, a rotatable plate having a semi-spherical shaped well for tiltably receiving a semi-spherical shaped bottom wall of an upwardly opening box-like housing, the semi-spherical shaped two portions having approximately the same curved rate. When the monitor is rotated for adjusting the degree of rotation, the box-like housing and the rotatable plate are rotated simultaneously with respect to a support plate on which the rotatable plate and the box-like housing are mounted one above the other. When it is desired to tilt the monitor, the box-like housing is tilted in the semi-spherical well. A detent protrusion is provided for successively detentable engaging with the bottom of the rotatable plate.

This allows frequently used drafting tools to remain within easy reach of drafting person, allowing them to move without impairment and be more productive.

    Abstract: A front engine mount for mounting an engine to a vehicle frame. The engine mount includes a connecting link pivotably secured at one end thereof to the front of the engine and pivotably secured at the opposite end thereof to the vehicle frame. The connecting link can be installed so as to be in either tension or compression. In compression, the end of the link connected to the engine is above the opposite end connected to the vehicle frame; in tension, the end of the link connected to the engine is below the opposite end connected to the vehicle frame. An alternate mounting arrangement utilizes a plurality of rollers disposed between an engine bracket and the crossmember for supporting the engine. The rollers provide the engine with lateral freedom permitting the engine to rotate, or vibrate, about the least energy axis.

    Abstract: An apparatus is provided for mounting a container, and particularly a container of baby food for convenience of dispensing contents of the container. The organization includes a suction cup support base, with a support leg directed upwardly therefrom, with a plurality of "U" shaped frameworks arranged at 90 degrees relative to one another, each mounted orthogonally and in alignment relative to the support leg. The "U" shape legs include a plurality of semi-cylindrical support rings at an upper terminal end of one of said "U" shaped frames, with the semi-cylindrical support rings including spring connections therebetween to define a cylindrical configuration that may be expanded for accepting a container therewithin. A modification of the invention includes a suction cup support mounted to an intersection defined by the "U" shaped frames in alignment with the support leg, and further including a utensil support mounted to the support leg.
