Abstract: The easel is a flat, generally diamond-shaped member formed of non-scratching stiff, resilient material, such as plastic. The member has a line of weakness extending thereacross between its opposed oblique angle points. The member can therefore easily be bent along the line of weakness to adopt a two-sided pyramidal form having rearwardly inclined, load-supporting edges and bottom edges. Means are provided along the load-supporting edges for disengageably supporting and frictionally interlocking with a picture frame or flat sheet to be displayed in spaced, non-scratching arrangement above a flat support surface, such as a table top. In the case of a channel-type picture frame, the means may comprise opposed L-shaped slots extending inwardly from each load-supporting edge a short distance above the bottom edge. The L-shaped slots form a T-shaped member. The T-shaped member can frictionally interlock with the base channel of a picture frame, to suspend the frame in a rearwardly inclined display position.
Abstract: An apparatus arranged to fixedly mount a syringe bottle in a downwardly angulated orientation, including a support member formed with a concave semi-cylindrical sleeve, with the sleeve mounting an elastomeric band selectively securable to a side of the sleeve for assembly of the bottle to the sleeve to permit access of the bottle in filling of a syringe therefrom. A modification of the invention includes illumination structure to enhance visibility of the organization in use.
Abstract: The active-substance support consists of a rectangular film or sheet (1) of a thermoplastic material which, at its upper end, comprises a T-shaped head piece (2) of which the symmetrically arranged hook-like side arms (3,4) can be bent downwards at a right angle along folding lines (5,6) extending parallel to the longitudinal direction. When needed, the initially flat side arms (3,4) are bent downwards at a right angle and hung on the honeycomb frame so that the active-substance strip (1) is kept centrally suspended in a honeycomb passage.
Abstract: A mounting for a generally vertical signboard includes clips which coact with the signboard to removably secure at least two sizes of indicia to the signboard. The signboard includes ribs which coact with both the indicia and the clips, allowing the indicia to be mounted to the signboard in two modes. The signboard is held vertical by supports. Brackets interact with the supports to enable the positioning of the signboard between a floor and a ceiling. The supports rotate and slide relative to the floor brackets so that the signboard may be tilted from the vertical to facilitate changing of the message displayed on the signboard.
Abstract: A mud flap anti-sail bracket having depending support rods secured to the upper corners of the mud flap and carrying a cross-member at variable vertical locations therealong.
Abstract: A metal pipe bracket is disclosed for firmly securing a plumbing pipe within a stud bay. The metal pipe bracket has a U-channel that is slipped over a steel strap nailed between the two studs of a stud bay. Locking tabs located on the pipe bracket aligned with and snapped into locking holes on the steel strap. A metallic plumbing pipe either extending horizontally within the stud bay or vertically within the stud bay is then soldered to the pipe bracket thereby providing a secure attachment between the plumbing pipe and the stud bay structure. Secured in this manner, the plumbing pipe is held secure against vertical, horizontal, and axial movement. A pipe secured in this manner can be attached to a shower head or a shower water mixer valve. Upon subsequent use of the shower head or the mixer valve, the plumbing pipe is secure from movement that would normally be caused by repeated adjustment of the shower head and use of the water mixer valve.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a suspending wire for cable clamps having a quite simple and easily operable construction and providing with a rear end portion fixed onto the cable clamp and a fore end portion forked into two of the same length to be twisted once each other to assume a constant twisted form due to their own elastisity in order to define a ring-like portion at the fore end portion, said constant twisted form being rendered enable to be untwisted easily by the ordinary worker's finger end operation.
Abstract: A vibration isolation support mounting system for supporting a vibrating load (1) with respect to a relatively fixed support (2) comprises at least one load support vibration isolation mount (3) including a first mount part (3A) securable to the vibrating load, a second mount part (3B) securable to the relatively fixed support, guide structure for guiding relative movement of the first and second mount parts, a first spring cushion arrangement (42) and a high a pressure fluid medium arrangement are disposed in series between the first and second mount parts to attenuate vibration induced force transfer between the first and second mount parts. High pressure fluid lines (4, 45) continuously communicate the load support mount with a main hydraulic fluid accumulator (5). A pump (6) maintains the hydraulic fluid pressure in the accumulator.
Abstract: Directed to a transportable rack for handling bakery goods such as bread which is made of moldable plastic, has a base trolley on which are mounted modular stackable shelf units having longitudinally extending parallel side rails adapted to hold bakery goods for transport, and separating members outboard each shelf unit which provide vertical separation between the shelves and transmit the weight of the shelf and its contents downward so that each shelf is light, with the separating members forming a vertical load-bearing and bracing column on each side of the rack.
Abstract: A power seat drive mechanism for an automobile has a motor which drives a worm which in turn drives a worm wheel at a given speed. The worm wheel is connected to a threaded shaft which it drives to rotate. Rotation of the threaded shaft forces it through a nut which is fixed to the body of the vehicle. This drives the threaded shaft which is connected to the sliding frame of the seat longitudinally with respect to the vehicle. In order to prevent force exerted on the seat in the direction of its travel, from causing the threaded shaft to rotate faster than it is being driven and thus overrun the worm gear, a resilient governor member is included which provides a limited braking effect and tends to resist the rotation of the shaft. With this configuration, backlash in the drive mechanism is eliminated.
Abstract: A bracket device for supporting concrete forms in a predetermined spaced relationship to each other on a supporting surface includes an elongated horizontal member and a pair of inner and outer spaced arm members depending from opposite ends of the horizontal member. Each of the pairs of inner and outer spaced arm members are adapted to engage respectively the inner and outer surfaces of the concrete form. The elongated horizontal member and inner and outer pairs of spaced arm members all lie in the same plane. In alternate embodiments the inner arm members are laterally adjustable to adjust the distance between the inner and outer arm members; the outer arm members are vertically adjustable to adjust the elevation of the bracket device; and the elongated horizontal member includes a pair of laterally adjustable sections for adjusting to the distance between the concrete forms.
Abstract: A support stand is described which is stackable with other similar stands. The base in one embodiment includes at least one inwardly extending slot, and an upright member is secured to the base. In another embodiment a microphone stand is described which includes two upright members which are telescoped together. The uppermost upright member can be locked in a desired position by a rotatable collar.
Abstract: A microphone stand coupler that facilitates microphone stand assembly and disassembly by enabling users to quickly and easily snap a microphone pole into a microphone stand base. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the microphone stand coupler is manufactured with hollow piping that is tapered and closed at one end. The interior of the piping is preferably threaded to accommodate the microphone pole. At the closed and tapered end of the coupler, a threaded hole is provided to accommodate a base attachment merchanism. The coupler is inserted through an opening in the microphone stand base, and the coupler is secured to the base by a over-center cam lever that is part of the base attachment mechanism. A microphone pole may then be threaded into the open end of the microphone stand coupler. The coupler and attached microphone pole may be detached from the base by disengaging the base attachment lever.
