  • Patent number: 11644249
Abstract: This electronic apparatus 100 comprises a heating element 20, and a case 30. The case 30 has an opening hole 31. In order that a refrigerant COO will be sealed between the case 30 and the heating element 20, the outer periphery part of a first heating element external surface 21, which is the external surface of the heating element 20, is attached to the outer periphery part of the opening hole 31. Also, the refrigerant COO is a refrigerant that is capable of phase change from a liquid refrigerant LP-COO to a gas phase refrigerant GP-COO. As a result, it is possible to more efficiently cool the heat of the heating element 20.

  • Patent number: 11647606
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for a cooling bath designed to cool a high density of devices within the bath. Coolant is circulated between the cooling bath and external pumps, which use a high flow rate of coolant to cool the high density of devices. The cooling bath includes inlet pipes, distribution pipes, a device chamber, and draining sections. The inlet pipes and distribution pipes are structured such that a mound of coolant may accumulate within the bath, forming a peak near the center of the bath. Coolant flows in a direction from the center of the bath towards draining sections on opposing ends of the bath. Draining sections are structured to receive hot coolant at a relatively slow flow rate and prevent air from being expelled from the cooling bath with the hot coolant.

  • Patent number: 11612081
Abstract: A two-phase immersion cooling system for cooling electronics. The electronics are immersed in immersion tank filled with phase change liquid. As liquid evaporates due to heat generated by the electronics, it enters a vapor passageway that leads the vapor to a condenser situated remotely from the immersion tank. Upon condensing at the condenser, the condensed liquid is directed to a resupply tank, wherein the condensed liquid cools. When the level of the two phase liquid in the immersion tank drops below a set threshold, a pump is activated to deliver the condensed liquid from the resupply tank to the immersion tank. The immersion tank, vapor passageway and condenser are position inside a containment passageway. The containment passageway captures any vapor not entering the vapor passageway and direct such vapor to the condenser. An air mover generates pressure differential within the containment passageway to direct the vapor towards the condenser.
