Abstract: Systems and methods including one or more processors and one or more non-transitory storage devices storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processors and perform acts of: providing a machine learning architecture that is configured to evaluate expensiveness of items relative to each other, wherein the items are included in an item type category; receiving prices associated with the items included in the item type category; generating, using a price band determination model associated with the machine learning architecture, price bands based, at least in part, on the prices associated with the items, each of the price bands being associated with separate price range boundaries for the item type category; and assigning each of the items to one of the price bands. Abstract: A system and method for sharing information on a network-based social platform is provided. An indication is received from a first user to share information regarding an item on a network-based social platform. The network-based social platform is a platform that allows the first user to communicative couple with other users of the network-based social platform. Profile information of the first user is accessed. A determination of whether the first user is authorized to share the information is made. Based on the first user being authorized, an identifier for the item is added to a list of recommended items that is accessible view the network-based social platform.

Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables automatic selection of a service partner to handle a service ticket over a conference session facilitated by a conference system. In an embodiment, a method provides, in a partner selection system, selecting service partners from a plurality of potential service partners based on a first service ticket and partner information about the service partners. The method further provides transferring an invite to the service partners to join a conference session with the partner selection system, wherein the invite describes the first service ticket and, after establishing the conference session with a first endpoint of a first service partner of the service partners, receiving first bid information in real-time over the conference session from the first endpoint. Also, the method provides selecting the first service partner based on the first bid information and transferring a selection notification to the first service partner over the conference session.

Abstract: A system and method to facilitate matching of individuals/corporations to regulatory experts is disclosed. Accordingly, the method provides a streamlined process for disclosing a product or invention, including steps of detailing input related to a product from a client device, filtering through international intellectual property experts, and collaborating with a certified expert to organize and complete necessary documentation and paperwork. The end result is a product that is appropriately prepared for distribution in a foreign country. Input related to the product may be analyzed to determine a type of the product by using a processing device. Further, the method may include receiving input from one or more expert devices related to a field of expertise of one or more regulatory experts. Input may also be analyzed to determine an appropriate expert. Furthermore, the method may include a step of transmitting notifications between the expert device and the client device.

Abstract: An intelligent product catalog system provides for electronic creation, management and viewing of product information using a multimedia display system. A central database repository stores the product information and provides for an unlimited number of product attributes and dynamic reconfiguration of the product information. The central database repository comprises a metadata system, a scheme system and an object model system. A plurality of applications access the central database repository, the applications being automatically adaptive to the dynamic reconfiguration of the product information. A user interface provides display, sorting and filtering of the product information including the unlimited number of product attributes.

Abstract: An on-line savings page for managing a savings account includes a list of items the user is saving for, where each item has a specified priority. A savings rate for each item is determined by the savings account based on the priority and total savings rate. The user is notified of any changes in the savings account, such as price changes, inventory changes, etc., as well as relevant information related to the item, such as sales, offers, recalls, etc.

Abstract: A prediction model in a database system may be configured to predict, for a given object instance, a respective probability of acceptance for each of a plurality of recommendations. A determination may be made as to whether the prediction model is associated with sufficient training data to produce predictions at a designated accuracy rate. When it is determined that the prediction model is not associated with sufficient training data, for each of a first set of object instances a respective first message may be sent that includes a respective first one of the recommendations determined based on a static ranking rule applying one or more criteria to one or more object fields associated with the respective object instance. The prediction model may be updated to include additional training data based on a plurality of responses corresponding to a respective first one of the recommendations.

Abstract: A multimodal recommendation identification system analyzes data describing a sequence of past content item interactions to generate a recommendation for a content item for a user. An indication of the recommended content item is provided to a website hosting system or recommendation system so that the recommended content item is displayed or otherwise presented to the user. The multimodal recommendation identification system identifies a content item to recommend to the user by generating an encoding that encodes identifiers of the sequence of content items the user has interacted with and generating encodings that encode multimodal information for content items in the sequence of content items the user has interacted with. An aggregated information encoding for a user based on these encodings and a system analyzes the content item sequence encoding and interaction between the content item sequence encoding and the multiple modality encodings to generate the aggregated information encoding.

If the online system identifies a product in the image with at least a maximum confidence value, the online system automatically tags the post with metadata about the product or suggests a tag to the user. If an object in the image could be one of multiple products, the online system identifies the multiple products to the user, which may be ordered based on confidences of matching the object, allowing the user to select which product is in the image. If the unlisted identifies a product in the image with less than a minimum confidence value, the online system identifies the user's offered products and suggests that the user select a product.

Abstract: A method begins by monitoring exchange item transactions occurring in an exchange item marketplace network. The method continues with generating trend information based on the monitored exchange item transactions and determining attributes for a targeted marketing program based on the trend information. The method continues with identifying a subset of buyer computing devices based on the attributes. The method continues by generating offer information based on the targeted marketing program and sending the offer information to the subset of buyer computing devices. When receiving a purchase request from a buyer computing device, the method continues by generating an exchange item request regarding an exchange item and sending the exchange item request to a branded server associated with the exchange item. The method includes receiving offer exchange item information from the branded server and sending at least a portion of the offer exchange item information to the buyer computing device.

Abstract: In one aspect, a computer readable memory medium comprising program instructions for graphically developing a connectivity driver is provided. The computer readable memory medium is a non-transitory medium. The program instructions are executable by a processor to generate a purchase order for a laboratory item, transmit the purchase order to a remote computer in order to communicate the purchase order to a vendor, receive an advance shipping notice generated in response to the purchase order, receive item information stored in an RFID tag of a tagged item received at the delivery location, and check the item information against the advance shipping notice in order to verify that the tagged item is the same as the ordered laboratory item. The purchase order specifies a delivery location.

Abstract: A system includes a smartphone and an electronic cigarette. The smartphone includes a GPS receiver that can determine a position. The smartphone can communicate over a network with a retailer information server that stores information regarding retailers of aerosol generating consumables, including at least a position of the retailers. The smartphone is configured to determine a plurality of distances between the position associated with the smartphone and the respective positions of the retailers. The smartphone can display a map including an indicator for the user's position and icons corresponding to the position of relevant retailers. This can assist a user of the smartphone in locating retailers of aerosol generating consumables.

Abstract: System and computer-implemented method of analyzing tags associated with a sequence of images presented to a user to present a current interest of the user is disclosed. An image from among a plurality of images is presented on an electronic display. The image is associated with a set of tags. An input is received indicating a user's preference for the image. A plurality of tags is processed based on the preference and the set of tags to determine a next set of tags from the plurality of tags. A next image is determined from the plurality of images based on the next set of tags. The next image represents a physical object, different from a physical object represented by the previous image. A sequence of images is generated by repeating the above process with the next image in place of the previous image for present a user's current interest.

Abstract: Systems and methods are configured to determine customer-specific recommendations in the form of ordered listings of objects (e.g., talking points for discussion) for interacting with customers during customer-service interactions based on the effectiveness of historical customer-service interactions. One or more machine-learning customer similarity models are further configured to determine similarities between customers, such that customer-service interaction strategies utilized for a first customer may be applied to determined similar customers. Moreover, based at least in part on historical interaction data generated for previous customer-service interactions, a machine-learning recommendation model is configured to generate an ordered listing of objects (e.g., talking points for discussion) for interacting with customers, and such recommendations may be presented to a customer-service representative via a graphical user interface.
