  • Patent number: 10430905
Abstract: Image search conditions that are past search conditions are displayed in an image search history area, and text search conditions are displayed in a text search history area. When a user selects a desired image search condition out of the search conditions displayed in the image search history area, and selects a desired text search condition out of the search conditions displayed in the text search history area, case data that matches the selected image search condition and the text search condition is extracted from a database and displayed in a search result display area.

  • Patent number: 10380328
Abstract: A method includes obtaining training data for a plurality of patients of a patient population. The training data includes training blood glucose history data including treatment doses of insulin administered by the patients of the patient population and one or more outcome attributes associated with each treatment dose. The method also includes identifying, for each patient of the patient population, one or more optimum treatment doses of insulin from the treatment doses yielding favorable outcome attributes. The method also includes receiving patient-state information for the treated patient, determining a next recommended treatment dose of insulin for the treated patient based on one or more of the identified optimum treatment doses associated with the patients of the patient population having training patient-state information similar to the patient-state information for the treated patient, and transmitting the next recommended treatment dose to a portable device associated with the treated patient.

  • Patent number: 10372873
Abstract: The local surveillance sub-system recognizes that a patient medical procedure has or will soon commence by sensing the presence of a healthcare professional in or near the surveillance area, and in response, creates a separate patient medical procedure A/V file for the surveillance data that will be captured. A dedicated procedure remote may be provided for receiving manual interactions from HC professionals present for a procedure or, alternatively, the local surveillance sub-system may autonomously interact with a personal security token device possessed by the HC professional. A procedure data file is also created that holds all of the pertinent information concerning the procedure that is known by the local surveillance sub-system. The patient procedure surveillance A/V file is given a higher priority than ordinary surveillance data captured by the local surveillance sub-system and is then copied to a nonvolatile memory.

  • Patent number: 10350343
Abstract: A system and method is provided to allow multiple patients to receive peritoneal dialysis treatment at a walk-in facility without having to keep fresh dialysis solution on hand themselves. The walk-in facility is enabled to receive a peritoneal dialysis prescription from a patient, verify the prescription, determine the appropriate treatment for the patient, provide the patient with the appropriate dialysis solution in the appropriate amount, and enable the patient to undergo a dialysis treatment at the facility. The walk-in facility can also be enabled to monitor the patient's home dialysis treatment and to adjust the patient's treatment at the facility accordingly. The facility can be enabled to produce dialysis solution on demand by manufacturing the solution from solution components according to a patient's prescription. Moreover, the facility can use a sorbent system to regenerate effluent dialysis solution into fresh dialysis solution.

  • Patent number: 10339617
Abstract: An order management system that employs profile locking is provided for managing clinical orders in patient profiles. The system allows users to initiate lockable order actions (e.g., order actions requiring a profile lock for conflict checking) in a profile locked by another user. When a user attempts to initiate a lockable order action, the system provides a notification to the user indicating that the patient profile is locked by another user. The user may elect to continue initiating the lockable order action. When the profile becomes available, the system provides a notification to the user, who may then obtain the profile lock and process the lockable order action, including having the system perform conflict checking. The system may also provide for the initiation of an instant messaging session between the user attempting to enter a lockable order action in a locked profile and another user who has the profile lock.

  • Patent number: 10311585
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to methods and a mechanism for manipulating images generated by radiotherapy machines used in radiation diagnostic and treatment applications. In one embodiment, a method is provided for intelligent automatic propagation of manual or automatic contouring across linked (e.g., registered) images and image data sets by acquiring one or more images of one or more image data sets; determining the correlation between the images with respect to identified structures; and generating a deformation map that establishes a correspondence for each point in the source image with a point in the target image. Subsequently, the intelligent propagation mechanism applies this deformation map individually to each structure of the source image and propagates the deformed structure to the target image.

  • Patent number: 10152453
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing patient information on a primary computer system involving the creation of an electronic patient chart; receiving updated information to the patient chart; and automatically accessing a secondary system based on the updated information. The primary and secondary computer systems communicate to better manage inventory, medical prescriptions and other administrative concerns. When the patient chart is edited by a healthcare professional, the primary computer system evaluates the updated information and then sends requests to one or more secondary systems automatically. The updated information may involve the need for a new medicine for the patient, a new appointment for the patient to be set up, and/or a new bill to be generated for the patient, among others. The secondary system or systems provide back-end management for these requests. Such back-end management occurs relatively automatically and substantially in real time.

  • Patent number: 10146400
Abstract: Within the field of computing, many user interfaces may present a set of records. Presented herein are user interfaces that may be advantageous in some scenarios, involving the presentation of a stack of unit boxes having a stack order. A current unit box may present a record filling an entirety of the display and including at least two icons respectively depicting an item of information in the record. The device may also accept a gesture from a user along a first axis, such that a gesture in a forward direction along the first axis (e.g., tapping a right half of a touch-sensitive display) visual transitions to a next unit box in the stack order, and a gesture in a direction opposite the forward direction (e.g., tapping a left half of the display) along the first axis visually transitions to a preceding unit box in the stack order.
