  • Patent number: 10583293
Abstract: In some examples, a processor of a system evaluates a therapy program based on a score determined based on a volume of tissue expected to be activated (“VTA”) by therapy delivery according to the therapy program. The score may be determined using an efficacy map comprising a plurality of voxels that are each assigned a value. In some examples, the efficacy map is selected from a plurality of stored efficacy maps based on a patient condition, one or more patient symptoms, or both the patient condition and one or more patient symptoms. In addition, in some examples, voxels of the efficacy map are assigned respective values that are associated with a clinical rating scale.

  • Patent number: 10546657
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products are provided for reducing the risk of sexual assault in a facility. Objective, clinical, and subjective information is obtained about a person housed within the facility. The obtained information is converted into respective groups of variables and weighted coefficients are assigned to selected ones of the variables. The respective groups of variables are processed via an algorithm to derive a risk number for the person. The risk number represents a risk of the person being vulnerable to rape within the facility or a risk of the person being a sexual predator within the facility. One or more other persons within the facility are identified that may be a potential sexual victim of the person and/or that may be a potential sexual abuser of the person based upon the risk number and respective risk numbers of each of the one or more other persons.

  • Patent number: 10467381
Abstract: The present invention relates to computerized methods and systems for automatically documenting fluid intake and output events for a patient. In one method, a fluid balance event is extracted, an impact value associated with the fluid balance event is received, and a database is populated with the fluid balance event and associated impact value. In another method, a clinical event is received and analyzed to determine whether the event has an impact on the patient's overall fluid balance. If the event is determined to have an impact on the fluid balance, the event is managed as a fluid balance event and an impact value is received for the event. A fluid balance is then updated for the patient using the received impact value.

  • Patent number: 10372873
Abstract: The local surveillance sub-system recognizes that a patient medical procedure has or will soon commence by sensing the presence of a healthcare professional in or near the surveillance area, and in response, creates a separate patient medical procedure A/V file for the surveillance data that will be captured. A dedicated procedure remote may be provided for receiving manual interactions from HC professionals present for a procedure or, alternatively, the local surveillance sub-system may autonomously interact with a personal security token device possessed by the HC professional. A procedure data file is also created that holds all of the pertinent information concerning the procedure that is known by the local surveillance sub-system. The patient procedure surveillance A/V file is given a higher priority than ordinary surveillance data captured by the local surveillance sub-system and is then copied to a nonvolatile memory.

  • Patent number: 10339617
Abstract: An order management system that employs profile locking is provided for managing clinical orders in patient profiles. The system allows users to initiate lockable order actions (e.g., order actions requiring a profile lock for conflict checking) in a profile locked by another user. When a user attempts to initiate a lockable order action, the system provides a notification to the user indicating that the patient profile is locked by another user. The user may elect to continue initiating the lockable order action. When the profile becomes available, the system provides a notification to the user, who may then obtain the profile lock and process the lockable order action, including having the system perform conflict checking. The system may also provide for the initiation of an instant messaging session between the user attempting to enter a lockable order action in a locked profile and another user who has the profile lock.
