Abstract: A system and method for curling a lock of hair. A hair curling assembly contains a bi-stable ribbon spring. The ribbon spring is biased into a coiled configuration. The ribbon spring has positional stability in both its coiled configuration and its linear configuration. The ribbon spring is manipulated into its linear configuration within the hair curling assembly. The hair curling assembly is then positioned proximate the lock of hair to be curled. The ribbon spring is triggered back to its coiled configuration. The lock of hair winds with the ribbon spring into its coiled configuration, therein forming a curl in the lock of hair.

Abstract: A dental flossing device comprising a first body circumscribing a void adapted to receive one or more fingers of a user, an outward-facing surface, opposite from the void, having a first segment comprising at least one pair of cleats arranged to define a circumferential groove for receiving and carrying one or more revolutions of the dental floss formed by wrapping the dental floss along the circumferential groove. A second segment of the outward-facing surface includes a fastener comprising a depression, a crown with a base wall and a niche in the base wall, and a pedestal that connects the base wall of the crown to a floor of the depression. The base wall, niche and the pedestal are configured to provide a space located between the floor of the depression and the base wall to receive and secure a free end of the dental floss.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing hoods in the form of hair nets having meshes, creating hoods having a first dimension over the head from front to rear and a second dimension crosswise thereto. A strand (20) of a net having a mesh (23) is created from threads (21). The strand (20) has two longitudinal sides. The number of meshes (23) of the set crosswise to the longitudinal sides corresponds to the number of meshes (11) of the hair net to be produced along the first or second dimension of the hair net. On or neighboring the two longitudinal sides of the strand (20), one elastic thread (22) each is fed into the other meshes (23) of the net. At specified, regular distances, the two elastic threads (22) are guided together and connected to one another.

Abstract: A pedicure assembly includes a housing that has a handle portion and a motor portion. A buffing unit is attached to the housing and the buffing unit abrasively removes calluses. The buffing unit comprises a drive and a head. An abrasive pad is attached to the head and the abrasive pad may be positioned to abut the callus thereby facilitating the abrasive pad to abrade and eliminate the callus.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cosmetic hair treatment method comprising at least the steps consisting of: a) applying a mechanical tension to said hair, b) exposing said hair under mechanical tension to microwaves, in the presence of a solvent in vapor form in contact with said hair, without complete drying of the hair during microwave exposure, the solvent in vapor form being entirely generated by the evaporation of a compound which is present, before emission of the microwaves, in contact with the treated hair.

The compact is capable of housing a plurality of customizable cosmetics for all-in-one convenience, portability, and efficiency. The present invention is designed as a portable makeup compact in which the user can store multiple makeup products and makeup tools in one unit. The purpose of this makeup compact is to be small and portable as well as hosting different makeup products and makeup tools that form one unit when stored within the base unit and lids of the compact. The portable interchangeable cosmetic compact allows individual makeup products and makeup tools to be interchanged and stored within the base unit and lids because of this makeup compact's unique design and efficient utilization of space.

The eyelash curler 1 has a pair of frame portions 12 and 12 extending in a vertical direction, a movable member 60 that is movable in the vertical direction along the pair of frame portions 12 and 12, a stationary member 50 fixed above the movable member 60, and an elastic member 70 placed on the movable member 60. The pick can releasably connect with the flossing head to allow the separation of the pick from the flossing head.

Abstract: There is presented a compact housing for a compact cosmetic container. The housing comprises a godet receptacle adapted to receive a godet containing a cosmetic product. The housing is movable between a closed configuration, in which the cosmetic product of the received godet is covered, and an open configuration, in which the cosmetic product of the received godet is uncovered to allow a user to access the cosmetic product. When the housing is in the open configuration, the godet receptacle is movable between a locked configuration, in which removal of the godet from the godet receptacle is prevented, and a release configuration, in which removal of the godet from the godet receptacle is permitted. When the housing is in the closed configuration, the godet receptacle is in the locked configuration.

Abstract: A facial hair shaping tool includes a unitary and generally L-shaped main body having a shape that is designed to contour to the face of an adult human. The main body includes a front surface, a back surface, a top end, an elongated planar first side, an elongated bottom end, a truncated second side and a curvilinear central section that extends from the second side to the top end. The main body is constructed from a unitary mold of injected plastic having a longitudinal edge along the bottom end. A plurality of spaced apart combing teeth are cantileveredly mounted to the longitudinal edge at a perpendicular orientation to the longitudinal axis of the tool.

Abstract: This application aims at providing a retainer of a cosmetic material and a method of manufacturing a cosmetic tool, which are capable of easily treating the cosmetic material even when decreasing a concentration of skin care ingredients of the cosmetic material produced by freeze-drying. Abstract: An applicator assembly having an application element, a blending element and a retaining element. The application element comprises a material configured to retain an application material and distribute the application material onto a surface and the blending element comprises a material configured to distribute the application material on the surface. Together the application and blending elements allow the process of transferring, distributing and blending the application material onto the surface to be performed with a single application assembly. Embodiments of the applicator assembly have the application element and the blending element to be comprised of materials with different characteristics.

Abstract: A nail gel/acrylic removal system and method for manufacturing a roll of foil segments with pads around a core used for nail gel and acrylic nail removal. A pad is configured to receive and absorb a substance for dissolving at least one of nail gel and acrylic nails. A segment of foil with an affixed pad is sized to wrap around at least a portion of a finger of a human hand so that the pad with the substance for dissolving is in contact with a fingernail of the hand. First and second sets of perforations are placed along opposite edges of the foil segment, so that pairs of foil segments with the pads are joined at the first and second set of perforations. A roll is formed of the foil segments with pads around a core.

Abstract: A skin weft with artificial hair attached thereto to provide various styling options or ample volumetric feeling. The skin weft comprises a stitched portion formed by stitching on a side edge of artificial hair composed of human hair or resin hair, a resin tape welded to a surface of the stitched portion, and a bonding component attached to a surface of the resin tape. The method for manufacturing the skin weft comprises the steps of forming a stitched portion by stitching one side edge of human hair or resin hair arranged and conveyed in the form of a sheet, and supplying a resin tape onto a surface of the stitched portion to form a bonding portion. Automatic mass production is achieved, thereby improving productivity and significantly reducing manufacturing costs. Additional means are unnecessary in the manufacturing process, thereby enabling an unskilled person to perform the task.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and method for selectively bleaching or dyeing a plurality of locks of hair. The device basically comprises a selector comb for selecting the locks to be treated from a portion of hair, and a container provided with at least one compartment that can internally house at least one liquid or pasty product for dyeing or bleaching. The selector comb is partially introduced inside the container and is movable inside and along same, being coupled thereto such that in an operating position of the device, the movement of the comb takes place, causing the gradual introduction of an increasingly longer portion of the locks selected by the comb inside the container at the same time as the gradual opening and communication of the inside of the compartment with the portion of the locks introduced therein, said portion being exposed to the liquid or pasty product.

Abstract: A flushable disposable glove system having flushable disposable gloves to cover a hand of a user-wearer having at least one securer to prevent the flushable disposable glove from unwanted displacement; and at least one container having a pull-up raised top section with fanned, accordion-style walls, a base, a front side, a back side, a left side, a right side, and an interior volume. The flushable disposable gloves are stored and dispensed from the container. The flushable disposable glove is removably placable on a left hand and a right hand prior to urinating or defecating. The flushable disposable glove protects the hand of the user-wearer while cleaning a genital region after urinating and defecating thereby preventing the user-wearer from getting urine and feces on the hand of the user-wearer.
