Abstract: Nail polish remover strips are pre-sized for toe or fingernails and applied to a painted or artificial nail and left thereon for a predetermined period of time to dissolve the nail polish and/or nail bonding agent. Preferably a color change occurs to depict the appropriate dwelling time to dissolve the nail polish. Certain embodiments include odor reducing components. Preferably the strips are layered composites having an exterior odor impervious material, a layer of encapsulated acetone or nail polish removing agent, an absorbent layer, and a peelable backing, with the strips being sized to accommodate contact with a person's nail.

Abstract: A hair clip having a rectangular base frame, with a plurality of prongs forming a unitary structure with the base frame, is disclosed. A weft clip frame is fixedly attached to, or forms a unitary structure with, the base frame. The weft clips which are attached thereto form a U-shape with a portion of said U-shape on either side of the rectangular base frame and extend over an uppermost extremity of the rectangular base, while the lower end of the rectangular base has openings of prongs for attaching hair thereto. The weft clips, in embodiments, hold the weft of a hair extension between the weft clip and rectangular base, such as in a portal of the weft clip opening only towards the top of the rectangular base.

The reservoirs are filed through elongated slots in an applicator plate held on the coloring comb.

Abstract: A kit including a package containing a plurality of preformed artificial nails having an application tab that removably clings to a surface of the nail, the application tab assembly including a body protruding from the nail, an attachment portion, and, optionally, an adhesive disposed between the body and the artificial nail. The clinging portion of the attachment portion, and the adhesive, if utilized, leaves substantially no residue on the artificial nail when the application tab assembly is removed from the surface of the artificial nail.

Abstract: A hair treating apparatus having a first component with opposite first and second sides. The first side is engageable by a first finger on a user's hand. A second component has opposite third and fourth sides. The third side is engageable by a second finger on the user's hand. The hair treating apparatus is operatively positioned with: a) the user's first finger engaging the first side and the user's second finger engaging the third side; and b) an accumulation of elongate hair strands between the second and fourth sides. The first and second components can be manipulated by movement of the user's first and second fingers to cause the second and fourth sides to move selectively towards each other to engage the accumulation of hair strands and away from each other. The operatively positioned hair treating apparatus can be drawn lengthwise of an engaged accumulation of hair strands to thereby controllably apply additive.

Abstract: A device for applying first and second makeup material to a skin surface as well as a method for applying a first and second makeup material using a device is provided in accordance with the disclosure. The device includes a template body and an absorbent backing attached to the rear side of the template body. The backing is compressible and dimensioned to conform to the contours of a skin surface, such as the area below the eye and proximate the cheek. The template body includes an upper edge which, when contacted with the skin surface, screens adjacent skin surfaces areas. A first makeup material may then be applied above the upper edge while a second makeup material is released to the skin area below the upper edge as the backing is pressed against the skin surface. The template may then be removed and the first and second makeup materials may then be blended together to create a desired ornamental effect.

Abstract: A mascara wand assembly includes a wand, multiple brush units and a cylindrical brush unit. The wand has a cap and a handle on two ends thereof. The cylindrical brush unit is connected to the cap. The multiple brush units are mounted to the wand and each brush unit has multiple first brush hairs extending radially and outward therefrom. The first brush hairs have different thicknesses. Each first brush hair has multiple sub-brush hairs extending therefrom. Each brush unit has a notch and a block respectively on the top and underside thereof. A 90-degree angle is defined between the notch and block of each brush unit. The block of one brush unit is engaged with the notch of the next brush unit.

Abstract: An ultrasonic manipulator of dental floss is provided with an ultrasonic mechanism and a floss creep controller mechanism to enable periodic floss creep during use and a reverse of creep upon a tension designation. A process controller controls floss driving and an eccentric mechanism, and a user pause function allows a stop of floss motion and a locking of drive motors to allow floss to resist undue stress and to minimize damage to drive mechanism.

Abstract: A dry nail polish appliqué to be applied to a fingernail. The nail appliqué has several layers. A bottom layer hides the color of the natural nail upon which the appliqué is applied. A top layer of a different color is applied on top of the color-hiding layer. The color of the top layer is, as such, uninfluenced by the natural nail color and it therefore appears sharp and crisp. The top layer could be of a translucent quality such that the top layer and bottom layer visually combine to produce a unique appearance.

Abstract: The present invention generally is an adjustable applicator employed for application of a cosmetic or a care product such as for application of mascara, coloring strands of hair, for dental flossing or for applying pharmaceuticals or cleaning agents. The invention discloses an adjustable applicator comprising an applicator element having a bore, a filament wherein the filament is housed inside the bore of the applicator element and a clasping means wherein the applicator element angularly deforms when a force is applied on the clasping means. Also disclosed is a device for packaging and dispensing a substance comprising said adjustable applicator.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a makeup puff apparatus. A puff is coupled in such a way so as to be freely movable, and is very efficiently designed to have functionality including flexibility, elasticity and a restoring force, thus ensuring durability resulting from firm coupling and enabling reliable operation, and thereby considerably increasing the ease and convenience of use. Particularly, the apparatus enables flexible motion and adjustment of the puff in conformity with a variation in angle on a touch portion when the apparatus is in use, thus continuously maintaining a soft touch sensation of the puff, and allows the apparatus to be immediately restored to its original state, thus preventing the angle of the puff from deviating from a predetermined angle.
