  • Patent number: 9778825
Abstract: A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed. The present invention includes a display unit configured to display an image including at least one object on a screen and a controller searching for at least one associated information on the object using a partial image corresponding to the object in the image, the controller displaying the searched associated information. Accordingly, when a user searches for an information on a specific object in an image using an image search function, it is unnecessary for the user to crop a partial image corresponding to the specific object in the image one by one. Instead, a mobile terminal automatically recognizes the specific object in the image and is then able to search for at least one associated information on the specific object using a partial image of the automatically recognized specific object.

  • Patent number: 9582184
Abstract: A method of operating a data processing system having a touch enabled display screen to alter the value of a specified variable in the data processing system is disclosed. A value control is provided on the display screen to alter the variable. The value control has an increment tap region, a decrement tap region, and a drag region. The data processing system recognizes gestures in these regions and changes the variable in response to the gestures by an amount that is determined by the gesture. The drag gesture is characterized by a drag direction and a drag length, the drag direction depending on whether the drag gesture is performed toward the increment or decrement tap regions. The value control is advantageous for small display screens.

  • Patent number: 9477945
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for interaction management systems. The method commences upon receiving a first incoming communication pertaining to a first task, and launching a first task-centered context user interface being initially populated with a first screen device selected in response to the type of incoming communication (e.g., a phone call icon, etc.). An agent interacts with the client by responding to the incoming communication. Then, the method receives a second incoming communication pertaining to the same first task; and populates the first task-centered context user interface with a second screen device appropriate for the second incoming communication (e.g., a chat UI, etc.). Additional new incoming events are routed to its corresponding task-centered context (or a new task-centered context is created).

  • Patent number: 9324080
Abstract: A method of modifying an Internet browser interface to provide shopping assistant functionality facilitating on-line shopping at a supported merchant Internet site. A wallet created in accordance with the present invention comprises a database having various user data stored therein under certain predetermined field names. A supported merchant data file identifies a plurality of supported merchants and enables the modified browser interface to determine when a shopper has navigated to a supported merchant web site. For each supported merchant, a rules and mapping file is created that may be used in connection with the wallet to map user-provided information in the wallet to corresponding fields in the merchant's check-out web page. When a user navigates to a supported merchant web site and desires to purchase merchandise and/or services from that merchant, the wallet automatically fills out the merchant's check-out web page(s), thereby simplifying on-line shopping and particularly, the check-out process.

Abstract: Visual analytics using multivariate concentric rings with a visual start time mechanism includes displaying an interactive graph where the interactive graph has multiple concentric rings that have multiple cells that represent sequential time periods. The concentric rings form a time unit that starts at an origin and ends at a time unit end and also has a pre-nonorigin starting section and a post-nonorigin starting section. A color is displayed in the cells to represent measurements associated with time stamps corresponding to cells in the post-nonorigin starting section. Further, a background color is displayed in cells of the pre-nonorigin starting section. The cells in the pre-nonorigin starting section are reused by displaying a color to represent metrics associated with time stamps belonging to a subsequent time unit.
