  • Patent number: 11122467
Abstract: A system can include a network analysis platform that applies performance models to determine if a load imbalance exists at a cell, such as at a base station. The performance models are pre-trained based on network telemetry data. For a session at a cell, an expected load can be compared to an actual load to determine whether the session is impacted by a load imbalance. If the number of impacted sessions exceeds a threshold, the base station can be highlighted on a GUI. Additionally, the network analysis platform can perform root cause analysis of a victim cell based on session handoff analysis to determine how to decrease the imbalance impacts.

  • Patent number: 11108644
Abstract: Some examples described herein relate to routing in routing elements (e.g., switches). In an example, a design system includes a processor and a memory, storing instruction code, coupled to the processor. The processor is configured to execute the instruction code to model a communication network among switches interconnected in an array of data processing engines (DPEs), generate routes for an application on the modeled communication network, and translate the routes to a file. Each DPE includes a hardened processor core, a memory module, and one or more of the switches. Each switch includes an input or output port that is capable of being shared by multiple routes. Port(s) of each switch are modeled as respective node(s). Generating the routes includes using an A* algorithm that includes a congestion costing function based on a capacity of respective nodes in the modeled communication network and a cumulative demand for the respective nodes.

  • Patent number: 11109381
Abstract: A method and device for wireless communication in a UE and a base station is disclosed. The user equipment receives a first bit block, transmits or receives a first wireless signal on a first time-frequency resource set, and transmits a second wireless signal on a second time-frequency resource set. The user equipment determines to transmit the second wireless signal on the second time-frequency resource set. A second bit field in the first bit block is used to indicate the first time-frequency resource set. A first bit field in the first bit block is used to simultaneously indicate a first spatial parameter group for transmitting the first wireless signal and a second spatial parameter group for transmitting the second wireless signal or a first multiple access signature for generating the second wireless signal. The spatial parameter group information used for scheduling PDSCH or PUSCH is applied to the uplink grant-free transmission.

  • Patent number: 11095561
Abstract: A data processing system includes a phantom queue for each of a plurality of output ports each associated with an output link for outputting data. The phantom queues receive/monitor traffic on the respective ports and/or the associated links such that the congestion or traffic volume on the output ports/links is able to be determined by a congestion mapper coupled with the phantom queues. Based on the determined congestion level on each of the ports/links, the congestion mapper selects one or more non or less congested ports/links as destination of one or more packets. A link selection logic element then processes the packets according to the selected path or multi-path thereby reducing congestion on the system.

  • Patent number: 11075721
Abstract: Channel plan management enables a radio to select preferred channels within a potentially noisy radio frequency (RF) spectrum. In an example of RF spectrum analysis and channel plan management, a channel assessment tool analyzes RF spectrum, builds and maintains a database that include RF spectrum and/or channel information. In an example, a channel assessment tool (CAT) manager periodically collects the data from packet error rate (PER) estimators and resets them for a new collection interval. The CAT manager builds a statistical database for all channels. This database is used to identify the best channels over that collection period, which is then ultimately used to build a new channel plan. The CAT statistical database to generate a new active channel plan which is ultimately updated across many or all devices within a radio network.

  • Patent number: 11025331
Abstract: A wireless device receives one or more messages comprising configuration parameters. The configuration parameters indicate: a plurality of bandwidth parts (BWPs) comprising a first BWP and a second BWP; and a timer value for a BWP inactivity timer. The BWP inactivity timer associated with the timer value starts in response to switching to the first BWP as an active BWP. A beam failure recovery procedure is initiated based on reaching a number of beam failure instance indications for the first BWP. Based on an expiry of the BWP inactivity timer during the beam failure recovery procedure: the beam failure recovery procedure for the first BWP is aborted; and the active BWP is switched from the first BWP to the second BWP.

Abstract: A wireless communication system includes a first communication device and multiple second communication devices. The first communication device includes a first transmitting unit that transmits control information to instruct a resource in a shared band to the second communication device by using a resource in a dedicated band. Each of the second communication devices includes a determining unit and a second transmitting unit. The determining unit determines whether the resource in the shared band is idle. When the resource in the shared band is idle, the second transmitting unit transmits data by using the resource in the shared band specified in the control information after transmitting a predetermined signal to the shared band. When receiving the predetermined signal from other second communication device, the second transmitting unit transmits data by using the resource in the shared band even when the resource in the shared band is busy.
