Abstract: A mobile terminal and a method of controlling a mobile terminal may be provided. The mobile terminal may include a display to display one of a plurality of wallpapers including at least one icon; and a controller to display at least two of the plurality of wallpapers and a plurality of preview screens corresponding to the plurality of wallpapers on the display upon reception of an input of moving at least one icon, moving of the at least one icon being displayed on the displayed wallpapers and preview screens. The mobile terminal can display a movement of icon being displayed on the displayed wallpapers and preview screens. Accordingly, a user may intuitively recognize a location of icon and effectively move a location of icon.

Abstract: A method at a client device includes displaying media library information corresponding to a set of media items. The media items include one or more local media items, the one or more local media items including media items stored at the client device, and one or more remote media items, the one or more remote media items including media items stored at a remote system and not at the client device. The method also includes displaying, concurrently with displaying the media library information, affordances identifying the remote media items; detecting user interaction with an affordance identifying a respective remote media item; and in response to detecting the user interaction, initiating a process for downloading a copy of the respective remote media item to the client device for storage at the client device.

Abstract: User interfaces such as web pages may be customized in terms of appearance and content based on user interests. For example, information items may be arranged such that items corresponding to strong user interests are displayed in more visually identifiable locations while items corresponding to weaker user interests are displayed in less visually valuable positions. The size of and space allocated to the information items may also be customized based on the relative strengths of the corresponding interests. For example, information associated with a strong user interest may be allotted 50% of the user interface. Other visual characteristics of the user interface and the information items such as font size/style, color, transparency and the like may also be customized to reflect the importance or strength of corresponding user interfaces.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for managing machine learning algorithms. Some embodiments comprise one or more transformer applications, one or more streamliner applications, a configuration file; accessing the configuration file, and an output file. In various embodiments, the streamliner application can be configured to read a configuration file and identify one or more attributes defining a machine learning algorithm. The streamliner application can also run each transformer application in an order determined by an ordered list in the configuration file. An output file can then be created for running one or more machine learning algorithms. Other embodiments are disclosed herein.

The displayed representation of the original equipment remote control device includes representations of buttons that would be used on the original equipment remote control device to control controllable functions of the target device. The system accepts input by which one or more of the displayed representations of buttons are selected. The macro button is then configured whereby an activation of the macro button will cause a transmission of commands from the configurable controlling device to control those controllable functions of the target devices that correspond to the one or more of the displayed representations of buttons that were selected.

Abstract: A system for managing collections having multiple content types can include a screen data capture module to capture screen data in a window having a window privacy setting presented to a user on a display device, a mixed-media collection (MMC) managing module configured to manage an MMC incorporating the captured screen data, and an MMC storage module configured to store the MMC. The MMC managing module can alter the captured screen data based on the window privacy setting.

In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving first user preferences; receiving second user preferences; receiving requests to associate the first user preferences and the second user preferences, respectively, with a media presentation device; causing the first user preferences and the second user preferences to be associated with identifying information of the media presentation device; receiving, from the media presentation device, a request to present a slideshow of images based on user preferences and identifying information of the first user device and a third user device; determining that the first user preferences are associated with the media presentation device; determining that user preferences of the third user device are not associated with the media presentation device; and causing content based on the first user preferences to be presented by the media presentation device.

A user selects a subset of the visual data marks. A popup summary is displayed that includes data value distributions for several data fields. In the popup summary, a second user input is detected corresponding to a first data field whose data value distribution is displayed in the popup summary. In response, the method displays a moveable icon corresponding to the first data field. The method detects a third user input to place the interactive moveable icon in a shelf in the user interface. In response, a second data visualization is displayed according to placement of data fields, including the first data field.

Abstract: Techniques for user-assisted plug-in application recipe (PIAR) execution are disclosed. During execution of a PIAR, a PIAR management application applies one or more data values for a plug-in application field to a machine learning model, to obtain: (a) a candidate mapping between one or more sub-values discovered within the data value(s) and another field accepted by an action of another plug-in application, the data value(s) being of a data type different from a reported data type of the other field, and (b) a confidence metric associated with the candidate mapping, based at least in part on whether the sub-value(s) fit(s) one or more stored formats mapped to the other data type. Based on a determination that the confidence metric does not satisfy a threshold confidence criterion, the PIAR management application obtains user input affirming or rejecting the candidate mapping, and applies the user input to execution of the PIAR.

Abstract: A measure factory for generating analytic measures includes data sets representing business activities arranged as columnar arrays with each column being associated with a distinct source rule that applies to the column when it is used as a data source. The one or more first overview windows in the first space can be arranged in one or more rows in a first overview space, and the one or more second overview windows in the second space in a stack in a second overview space. The arranged overview windows may then be displayed in the overview mode of the computing device.
