Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods that use an artificial intelligence (AI) model to generate outputs that can be evaluated to predict which logged entry items match entry request record line items of an entry request record. Additionally, the present disclosure relates to systems and methods for intelligently detecting anomalies within data sets.

A wedge shaped bagging station extension module surface can be configured to couple to the bagging station module in a left-oriented oblique self-checkout system configuration in a first position of the wedge shaped bagging station extension module surface and can be re-configurable from the first position to a second position of the wedge shaped bagging station extension module surface to couple to the bagging station module in a right-oriented oblique self-checkout system configuration.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and media for picking-up and delivering products are disclosed. Some embodiments route shoppers to acquire products for multiple customers orders from multiple suppliers using a variety of transportation modes. The transportation modes may differing maximum weight carrying and volume carrying capacities, maximum vehicle speeds. Moreover, some embodiments may account for a different number vehicles for each transportation mode and may further account for the availability of shoppers and vehicles.

Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting potential shrink events within a venue are provided. The example systems include, a plurality of RFID readers disposed throughout the venue and a controller operatively coupled to the plurality of RFID readers. The controller includes a processor and a non-transitory machine-readable memory storing machine-readable instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the example systems to (1) monitor RFID tag data associated with an RFID tag disposed within an environment, the RFID tag data including an environmental metric associated with at least a portion of the environment; and (2) responsive to a change in the RFID tag data exceeding a predetermined threshold, generate an alert indicative of a potential shrink event. The change in the RFID tag data may include a change in the environmental metric resulting from a positioning of the RFID tag relative to a body of an individual.

Abstract: A method for communicating between an internal server system and an external warehouse system for a plurality of articles, the method including receiving an Inventory Snapshot Entity from the external warehouse system, selecting the one or more unique article identifiers from the Inventory Snapshot Entity to be included in an Order Entity, dropping the Order Entity to the external warehouse system, receiving a Return Entity from the external warehouse system, and in response to receiving the Return Entity, updating one or more article databases to indicate receiving one or more articles corresponding to the one or more unique article identifiers.

Abstract: Described is a technology that enables a customer, who uses a payment card in a transaction and further provides an identifier in the same transaction, to use the identifier as a payment mechanism in all future transactions. In some embodiments, the technology involves communication between a customer's user device, a payment service system (PSS), and one or more merchant POS systems. A merchant POS system collects information in a transaction conducted between the merchant POS system and the customer, including, among others, the customer's contact information (e.g., telephone number), and forwards this information to the PSS. The PSS stores the information as an identifier, where the identifier is stored in association with the card used in the transaction. In a second transaction, the PSS sends a verification request to the user device based on the identifier (e.g., a text message), and processes the transaction only upon confirmation from the customer.

Abstract: A fleet fueling system may be implemented with controllers electronically interfacing with fuel dispensers at dispensing stations and communicating via a wide area network with one or more computing device implementing multiple subsystems. Hardware components and subsystems may be configured to avoid operating errors and provide end-to-end functionality, including one or more of: avoiding damage to movable readers that can collect information about assets positioned at fuel dispensing stations, selectively authorizing fuel to be dispensed based on the types and amount of fuel those assets are authorized to receive, quickly and reliably entering information about assets, providing analytics relating to fuel usage per asset, predicting future fuel needs at each of multiple fuel dispensing sites and scheduling fuel deliveries based on predicted needs, and detecting or correcting operating errors in the system.

Abstract: Association of personal, financial, and/or business-related identification information with a mobile communication device (MCD) is provided for herein. For example, an MCD can be associated with a financial account and can further include an identification component that verifies an identity of a user of the MCD. Identity can be verified by biometric analysis (e.g., finger/thumb print scan), username and password, optical feature scan, or a combination thereof or of like mechanisms, for instance. Accordingly, the claimed subject matter provides a mechanism to verify identification of a user of an MCD and incorporate user ID into remote data exchange, including remote financial transactions, with one or more networked devices.

In this embodiment, the service management component maintains various data stores associated with available service plans and with current subscriber information that facilitate a mapping of updated service plan options to subscribers. Accordingly, the service management component manages a framework that allows the management of the mapping information.

Abstract: Fuel hedging is used by large corporations to reduce exposure to fuel price volatility. But individual consumers are not afforded the same opportunities. In an embodiment, a payment card is provided that stores units of purchased products, and allows a user to purchase future units of the product before redeeming the products (such as oil). In an embodiment, a user can purchase the payment card with purchased units at a kiosk at a gas station. A backend processor receives the purchase request and buys select derivatives on the market to match the purchase request. Upon authenticating the user, the backend processor sends an authorization message back to the kiosk that dispenses the payment card.

Abstract: The SECURE ANONYMOUS TRANSACTION APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“SAT”) transform hardware-verified user authentication requests via SAT components into secure transaction notifications. In one implementation, the SAT obtains a secure anonymous transaction user authentication request. The SAT verifies the authenticity of a user, using the secure anonymous transaction user authentication request. The SAT obtains an authenticated purchase order, in response to which it generates a one-time anonymous card account. Using the one-time card account, the SAT generates an anonymized purchase order for a merchant, and provides the anonymized purchase order. On obtaining a purchase notification for the anonymized purchase order, the SAT provides a real-time notification for a user of the purchase notification.

Abstract: A system for tracking a product from origin to destination is disclosed. The system includes a probe that comprises two plates, a power source and a processor. The power source is controlled by the processor to produce an oscillating output at the plates. Using the oscillating voltage, the probe interrogates a device through capacitive coupling. The device includes a control unit, a memory unit, and first and second materials physically associated with the device for communication using capacitive coupling. Information associated with the device is transferred from the device to the probe through capacitive coupling between the first and second materials and the first and second plates, respectively.
