Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method for setting a user interface according to user preferences, more particularly, an apparatus and method for setting the user interface according to the user preferences, in which the user interface can be set up by reflecting the user preferences, and the set user interface is synchronized in order to be used in other devices. The apparatus includes a user-interface-configuration unit that is notified of an update and rearrangement of a predetermined user interface element by a user, a user-information-management unit that manages security information of the user that reconfigures the user interface element, and a user-interface-tree-management unit that reconfigures a predetermined user-interface tree based on the reconfigured user-interface element.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for presenting and modifying intelligent interactive content. The methods may include receiving user input on a first device from a first user to present content to a second user on a second device. The method may include providing the second device with the content data, presenting the content to the second user, monitoring the second user's reaction to the content using eye-tracking sensor, and generating feedback data. The method may include providing the feedback data to the first device, presenting feedback to the first user and modifying the content of the for the first and the second user according to the second user's reaction.

The system and method uses a combination of tactile gestures that are each received at predefined quadrants (or regions) or the touch-screen. The combination of such tactile gestures and quadrant information are used as a shortcut sequence to a user-interface (UI) function call, e.g., change zoom parameter of a presented screen of the display, navigate to a next presented screen, navigate to a previous presented screen.

The processing circuitry is configured to accept an operation for a region of interest (ROI) GUI and a guide GUI on a screen on which a medical image is displayed, the ROI GUI being for setting a ROI on the medical image, the guide GUI being for guiding a setting of the ROI on the medical image. The process records audio provided by the user and records video of the user. The process uses the information that identifies placement of the window to form a customized video including what was displayed in the window while playing the immersive video. The customized video also includes a visual overlay in a peripheral portion of the customized video, which includes the recorded video of the user. The customized video also includes an audio overlay using the recorded audio. The process transmits the customized video to another computer.

Each of the user-specified document categories is assigned to a different pane of the plurality of panes so that each of the electronic documents is assigned to a corresponding one of the panes.
