  • Patent number: 11176911
Abstract: There is provided an information processing apparatus capable of displaying an image properly even if an orientation of a display device is rapidly changed, an information processing method, a program, and a head-mounted display. An information processing apparatus for controlling a display section configured to be capable of displaying an image in a displayable area preset in a space by a sequential scanning method includes a setting section and a determination section. The setting section sets the displayable area so as to remain at a certain position in the space. The determination section acquires information about a posture of the display section, calculates a moving direction of the displayable area as viewed from the display section along with a change in the posture of the display section, and determines a main scanning direction of the display section in a direction opposite to the moving direction.

  • Patent number: 11164547
Abstract: There is provided a method for controlling a terminal apparatus that includes a first display section and a motion sensor that detects the attitude of the first display section with respect to the gravity direction and supplies image data to a display apparatus including a second display section. The method includes causing the motion sensor to detect the vertical direction, rotating a source image in accordance with the detected vertical direction and generating corresponding first image data, causing the first display section to display an image indicated by the first image data, and transmitting the first image data to the display apparatus. In the generation of the first image data, the first image data is so generated that the direction toward the lower side of the source image coincides with the detected vertical direction when the first display section displays the image indicated by the first image data.

  • Patent number: 11151785
Abstract: A finite element (FE) model of an anatomical structure is generated based on a fitted model of the anatomical structure and association data. A segmentation model is provided for segmenting the anatomical structure. Association data is obtained which associates a segmentation model part of the segmentation model with a mesh property. The segmentation model part represents a pre-determined anatomical region of interest. The segmentation model is applied to a medical image of a subject, thereby obtaining the fitted model for segmenting the anatomical structure. The finite element model is generated based on the fitted model and the association data, by meshing a finite element model part of the finite element model corresponding with the pre-determined anatomical region of interest in accordance with the mesh property. Advantageously, this results in an efficient generation of the FE model needing fewer manual iterations and/or alterations in the model or in the mesh.
