Abstract: The field of the disclosure relates generally to cancer cell destruction and, more specifically, to cancer cell destruction by photo-magnetic irradiation mediated multimodal therapy using smart nanostructures.
Abstract: A penile sleeve device (PSD) that is an implantable subcutaneous penile shaft silicone rubber apparatus which has several functions such as to elongate, thicken, harden, straighten and custom shape a penis. The PSD has an elongated main component of stretchable elastic silicone elastomer into which an inner component of a much higher durometer silicone rubber material is positioned to provide the PSD with some rigidity. The main component is the only portion in contact with the penile shaft since the inner component resides within a pocket of the main component that is formed by two layers therein. The outside surface of these layers may include folds to assist in enhancing penile girth and lengthening. A penile stocking insert is also provided for increasing the length of the penis it is flaccid or erect state using an elongated tubular body constructed from an elastic material which applies a compressive force around the penile shaft, thus elongating the length of the penis.
Abstract: Stimulation devices and methods of use are described herein. An example stimulation device configured to stimulate a portion of a body of a user comprises a housing that includes a casing and a covering. The casing includes a nozzle, a motor disposed within the casing configured to generate stimulation patterns, a drive shaft connected to the motor, a sensor configured to detect changes in the rotation of the draft shaft, a controller, and a battery. The covering covers a portion of the casing.
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a calculation unit, a designing unit, and a presentation unit. The calculation unit calculates autonomic activity of a participant, using biometric information measured by a measuring device that measures biometric information of the participant belonging to a group place. The designing unit designs a progress plan of communication at the group place in a design aspect corresponding to the calculated activity. The presentation unit presents the designed progress plan.
Abstract: A wirelessly powered inflatable medical implant system includes a medical provider software application, a patient external controller and a MR-Conditional, nonferrous pump in reservoir implant. The medical provider software application programs the patient external controller for the patient to transmit wireless power and control signals to circuitry in a pump in reservoir implant. In response, the pump in reservoir implant, containing a fluid reservoir and pump package submerged therein, transfers fluid from the reservoir through tubing, and into one or more inflatable medical implants. Submerging the pump package within the reservoir simplifies surgery in males and pump placement in females and provides pump package heatsinking to limit implant overheating.

Abstract: Methods and devices for measuring vibration of an implanted driven vibrating elongate body coupled to a bone of the middle ear, for example using an accelerometer coupled to the vibrating body. The measured vibration can be taken during implantation and long again after implantation to check for possible decoupling, disease, or additionally impeded vibratory driving of the middle ear bone. An accelerometer signal can be converted to a displacement value and used to check for an under impeded or over impeded vibratory body. An implanted device can be used to periodically check the vibration of the vibratory body. Methods and devices can be used in conjunction with implanted devices which receive vibratory signals from a middle ear bone and use the signals to drive a disarticulated middle ear bone closer to the ear drum.

Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions and methods configured to deliver a stimulus (e.g., a therapeutic agent or a therapeutically beneficial signal) to a cell, tissue, organ, or organism. The stimulus is applied at least twice, and the first and second applications are separated by a rest period in which no further stimulus is actively applied. The rest period is of a duration (e.g., about 1-6 hours) sufficient to provoke an enhanced response to the second stimulus.

Abstract: Systems and methods for magnetic induction of a penile prosthesis are disclosed. The magnetic induction system includes a wand that has a coil arrangement covered with a thermal and electrical insulator sheath operable to generate an alternating magnetic field. The coil arrangement of the sheath is configured to receive the length of the penile prosthesis therein. The penile prosthesis may be made from a shape memory material such that application of alternating magnetic fields generated by the magnetic induction system induces eddy currents that raise the temperature of the penile prosthesis to a temperature above the austenitic transformation temperature that allows the penile prosthesis to achieve an erect state.

A first treatment planning step may be performed using a first AI engine to generate first output data based on at least one of: (i) the image data, and (ii) first input data generated based on the image data. Abstract: An implantable inflatable penile prosthesis cylinder has a longitudinal axis and includes an inflatable portion. The inflatable portion includes a chamber that defines an inflatable chamber. The chamber wall includes at least one thin wall section and at least one thick wall section. Abstract: Infusion system configurations and assemblies facilitate routing of infusion circuit tubing lines. Tubing lines are routed into and out from compartments of a shielding assembly for the infusion system, at locations which prevent kinking and/or crushing of the lines, and/or provide for ease in assembling the circuit. A plurality of the lines may be held together by a support frame to form a disposable infusion circuit subassembly, that can further facilitate routing of the lines.

Abstract: A shielding assembly for an infusion system includes a plurality of compartments and a door for each compartment, and provides a radioactive radiation barrier for the compartments. One of the compartments contains a radioisotope generator of the infusion system and another of the compartments may contain a waste bottle of the infusion system. An opening into each of the generator and waste bottle compartments may be oriented upward, and the opening into the latter may be at a higher elevation than the opening into the former, for example, to facilitate independent removal and replacement of each. A door of at least one of the compartments, other than the generator compartment, when closed, may prevent the door of the generator compartment from being opened. A cabinet structure for the infusion system may enclose the shielding assembly and secure the generator.

Abstract: A compression plate for compressing a suprapubic region of a user. The compression plate can include a base portion and an upper portion positioned above the base portion. The upper portion can include a left-side upper arm, a right-side upper arm, and a notch positioned between the left- and right-side upper arms. Abstract: In a method of treating erectile dysfunction in a patient, a predetermined course of external counter-pulsation treatment is applied to a lower body portion of the patient. After the predetermined course of external counter-pulsation treatment is applied, a predetermined course of low intensity shockwave treatment is applied to a penile area of the patient. After the course of low intensity shockwave treatment, a predetermined course of carboxy therapy is applied to a corpora cavernosa of the patient.

Abstract: The invention provides a sensing control method and apparatus, and a vibration massage apparatus. The method includes: arranging a sensor which senses a trajectory of an external object, and controlling the change of output based on the direction of the trajectory. With the invention, a desirable control effect can be obtained based on the sensed direction of the trajectory of the external object without accurate positioning of the sensor. Not only the convenience of the sensing operation can be improved significantly, but also the control accuracy can be improved; meanwhile, the invention can be well applied to any device for control using several input control signals or variable input control signals for control, thus having a wide range of application and significantly optimizing user experience.
