The back-supporting surface has a lower portion nearer the seating surface that is movable, relative to an upper portion of the back-supporting surface that is farther from the seating surface, in the direction of motion as the seating surface moves in the direction of motion.

Abstract: A device for separating two zones of a passenger cabin including a frame element and an area element which is fastened to said frame element and includes, at least in certain sections, a flexible stretch material. The separating device is detachably fastenable in such a way to a passenger seat installed in the passenger cabin, that the area element extends substantially in one plane with a backrest of the passenger seat and that the section of the area element which includes of a flexible material is transferrable from a non-tensioned physical state into a flexibly stretched physical state in the event of the backrest of the passenger seat being adjusted from an upright position into a reclined position.

Abstract: Food product stabilization systems employing features to stabilize upright food wares that are subject to tipping, crumbling and/or being damaged during transport or storage. Freestanding upright food wares may have exposed edges requiring some form of protection to reduce and/or prevent unwanted surface deterioration, crumbling, tilting, sliding, collapsing and/or damage resulting from transportation and/or storage. Varieties of food containers are disposed around upright food wares as a general means of protecting against humidity, oxidation and/or contaminates from an outside environment. In cases where upright food wares are dissimilarly shaped or sized disproportionately to food containers, unwanted surface deterioration, crumbling, sliding, spillage or damage may occur.

Abstract: A clamp that is meant to act as a coordinate locator for any number of power tools, but most specifically for use with the Biesemeyer T-style table saw fences. The assembly is comprised of a C-frame which offers the ability to enact a clamping action and the ability to enact an indexing action. The design of the assembly allows not only for the clamping of an imprecise reference point along a table saw fence rail, but also the fine adjustment of indexing a screw against the table saw fence.

Abstract: A seat assembly reclines during an under-vehicle explosion or other upward impact on the vehicle to mitigate spinal and lower leg damage to a human occupant. The seat assembly has a back frame portion and a lower frame portion. The lower frame portion has a pivotal connection with an energy absorbing mechanism mounted to the vehicle floor. The pivotal connection includes a stop mechanism to prevent seat assembly tilt during normal vehicle operation but allow tilt due to an explosion. A second mechanism is disposed between the back frame portion and the floor; this mechanism controls the seat assembly pivot and provides further absorbing of energy from the upward impact. Projections from the front of the lower frame portion toward the floor can be used to enhance seat assembly pivoting; specially designed seat engagement levers can be used for this purpose as well.

Abstract: An infant carrier contains: a front carrying bag, a neck support pad, and an auxiliary support cushion. The auxiliary support cushion is used for supporting a carrier's back above the carrier's lumbar, and the front carrying bag includes a first carrying strap and a second carrying strap which are in connection with two sides of an upper end of the front carrying bag and the neck support pad. The neck support pad includes an adjustable belt formed on a bottom rim thereof and connecting with an upper rim of the auxiliary support cushion. The front carrying bag also includes a first waist strap and a second waist strap which are fixed on two sides of the front carrying bag to correspond to the carrier's waist and are coupled with two sides of the auxiliary support cushion adjacent to the carrier's waist.

Abstract: The inventive concept consists of a compartmentalized trash can including a basic trash can of any configuration. The basic trash can has installed therein, at a lower area, a horizontal plate which is being fastened to the inside walls of the basic trash can thus forming a lower compartment. The lower compartment has an opening at one of the walls of the basic trash can. A half oval cover skirt is formed that has a flat cover plate at the top end to cover the top of the basic trash can. The half oval cover skirt has a depending a half oval cover skirt which is depending from the top cover plate and is connected to the top plate and can be moved by way of a hinge at the top cover plate and can be moved to an upper position exposing the top trash compartment and when it is lowered it will cover the opening in one of the walls of the basic trash can. The top cover plate has an arrangement to close or open an access to the interior of the upper compartment to deposit trash.

Abstract: A truck bed extender including an elongated support tube having a first and a second end whereby the first end is adapted for securement in a trailer hitch mounted on a truck, and two support arms pivotally mounted at the second end of the elongated support tube, for pivotal rotation from a collapsed position generally alongside the elongated support tube, to an angled position extending upwardly away from the elongated support tube. The support arms, when rotated upward rest on two rectangular shaped cam adjusters that are pivotally mounted on the sides of the elongated support tube at the second end, just behind the support arms. The support arm height is adjusted by rotating the cam adjusters. A crossbar is removed from its stored position inside the hollow, elongated support tube and mounted with a removable lock pin perpendicular and on top of the support arms.

Abstract: A multi-purpose backpack style bag also referred as Flipper bag herein that can be used alternatively as a backpack, a handbag, or a shoulder bag. Moreover, the Flipper bag can also be converted from the backpack into a handbag without removing the contents of the handbag. The Flipper bag is made of two components, the top flipper body that is reversible, and the bottom handbag body. The bottom handbag body can be independently used as a handbag or a shoulder bag. When the top flipper body is combined with the bottom handbag body, it can be used as a backpack style bag; or the user can fold down the top flipper body over the bottom handbag body so it covers the bottom handbag body and close the flipper cover to use it as a different design of handbag.

The chair includes a back support that is flexible such that when a force is applied to it by the user's body, the back support bends. The back support may be configured to adapt to the curvature of the user's spine when the user is seated in the chair. The back support may further be configured such that the user can rotate the back support by rotating the user's upper body.

Abstract: A portable, swivel chair has a seat back and a seat bottom hingably joined and collapsible about the hinge, a swivel system positioned between the seat bottom and a seat bearing plate, and a mounting frame for the bearing plate that includes a pair of adjustable length seat legs. The swivel chair also includes a removable storage container positioned between the seat legs and accessible when a user is seated on the swivel seat. The adjustable length legs allow a user to choose a comfortable sitting height and to establish a level seating surface even on uneven or unlevel ground. A pair of backpack straps allow a user to transport the swivel seat in the manner of a backpack.

The cover is selectively positionable to occupy the interior space of the bag. A flap is coupled to the peripheral edge of the bag and is selectively extendable over the opening of the bag. A resilient member is coupled to the flap extending around a free edge of the flap. The resilient member engages the cover and the bag inhibiting the cover from coming out of the interior space of the bag.

Abstract: A plastic, preferably recycled plastic, canopy leg anchor plate is used with a portable collapsible canopy unit. It encloses a canopy frame leg and covers the canopy leg's welded attached footplate, and, by ground pegging through the plate and/or placing weight on the plate, provides wind stabilization for the canopy unit. The plate can be molded into various decorative shapes for attractiveness, uniqueness and occupation recognition.
