Abstract: A virtual computer system service receives a request from a customer to provision a dedicated server for the exclusive use of the customer. The dedicated server may be used to launch one or more virtual machine instances. The virtual computer system service subsequently selects, from a pool of available servers, a server that can be dedicated to the customer and that does not have capacity allocated to any other customer. The virtual computer system service may update a database to specify, in an entry corresponding to the selected server, that the server has been dedicated for the exclusive use of the customer. Once the database has been updated, the virtual computer system service will enable the customer to launch a virtual machine instance using the dedicated server.

Abstract: A system and method for performing email processing at multiple stages along an email delivery chain. A first embodiment uses an email filter to receive information about an email message from a message transfer agent and then perform limited email pre-processing on the email message. The email filter then stores instructions and data such as the results from the email pre-processing into an internet email header added to the email message. The instructions and data placed into the email header may be encrypted for privacy and security. A later email program may extract the instructions and data from the internet email header and continue the email processing. One disclosed application of the multi-stage email processing system is email authentication.

Abstract: Implementations set forth herein relate to an automated assistant that allows third party applications to inject dependencies to leverage automated assistant functions. Furthermore, enabling such dependency injections can allow third party applications to preserve privacy of any application content that is used during execution of automated assistant functions. In some implementations, a third party application can initialize a function with an assistant dependency using parameters that are tagged as private. Initializing a function in such as a way can allow private content communicated between the third party application and the automated assistant to be abstracted for security purposes. The abstracted content can thereafter be communicated to a remote server—such as a server hosting an extensively trained machine learning model. Intelligent output provided by the server can then be incorporated into one or more processes of the third party application without comprising security.

Abstract: Various techniques for gesture-based community moderation are described, including activating a moderator application at a computing platform hosting a syndication of electronic messages, receiving a signal causing presentation of an electronic message at an interface, detecting an input associated with a position of each of the electronic messages on the interface and activating an automatic action by the moderator application, determining if a non-compliant message component is included in the each of the electronic messages, modifying each of the electronic messages if the non-compliant message component is detected, invoking a predicted automatic action based on the modified electronic message, and displaying the modified electronic message in a different position of the interface.

Abstract: Systems and methods for encoding a plurality of alternative streams of video content using multiple encoders in accordance with embodiments of the invention are disclosed. An encoding system includes multiple encoders. Each of the encoders receives a source stream of video content that is divided into portions. Each of the encoders generates portions of the plurality of alternative streams from the portions of the source stream. The portions of the alternative streams generated by a particular encoder are stored in a container for the particular encoder. Each encoder also generates index information for the portion of the alternative stream generated by the encoder that is stored in a manifest for the encoder.
