  • Patent number: 10692028
Abstract: Described herein is a framework for optimal demand-based allocation. In accordance with one aspect of the framework, trip data is extracted from vehicle operation data received from one or more vehicle data devices servicing a region of interest. Vehicle demands for multiple tiles of the region of interest and mutual travel times between neighboring tiles are estimated based at least in part on the trip data. A set of candidate tiles for allocating vehicle stations may then be determined by minimizing total travel time based on the mutual travel times and vehicle demands.

  • Patent number: 10614391
Abstract: A method for work quality control of a worker in work where repetitive operation is performed which includes: a model construction step of statistically constructing, from past path data of the worker, past intermediate quality data on a product to be subjected to the work, and past final quality data on the product to be subjected to the work, a prediction model that receives the path data and the intermediate quality data and outputs the final quality data; a worker position recognition step of recognizing a position of the worker from image data on the work captured; and an unusual worker position determining step of substituting the position of the worker recognized in the worker position recognition step into the model constructed in the model construction step, to determine whether the position of the target worker is a usual one or an unusual one.

  • Patent number: 10515377
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for conducting user studies. One of the methods includes receiving a user study session request from a sponsor, wherein the user study session request identifies a product and one or more criteria. Session volunteer data identifying one or more available session volunteers having access to the product and one or more attributes is received. A session volunteer that satisfies the user study session request is determined, including matching the one or more attributes of the session volunteer to the one or more criteria of the session request. A session between the sponsor and the session volunteer is initiated.

  • Patent number: 10489797
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing an automated virtualized signal marketplace or exchange for signals from distributed data sources that are controlled by a multiplicity of signal sellers or signal owners, including at least one data correlation engine that is operable for processing the signals to generate at least one correlation value relating to a specific objective for signal buyers corresponding to the behavior of the object and/or the activity and/or the event. Signals are indicators of data that are derived from data sources and abstracted to protect the underlying data. Each entity that sells data in the virtual marketplace first converts data into a “signal” or indicator that represents the data without disclosing it or providing it. Signal sellers determine if they wants share signals based upon buyer, price, and other rules, including limitations on signal use. Signal buyers determine signal value based upon their objectives.

  • Patent number: 10095991
Abstract: A risk measurement system according to an embodiment includes a measurement unit that obtains a distance between a mechanical device and an operator; a control device that controls the mechanical device, a display device; a risk table database that has a risk table indicating a risk value that depends on a size of damage due to a risk, a frequency of access to the mechanical device according to an operation mode, and a risk avoiding possibility; and a risk measurement device that obtains the risk value based on the avoiding possibility obtained based on the distance, the frequency of access obtained based on the operation mode of the mechanical device acquired from the control device, and the risk table, records temporal changes of the risk value, and displays the temporal changes of the risk value on the display device.
