  • Patent number: 6425717
Abstract: A cargo restraint device including a base having an outer pawl and an inner pawl pivotally connected to the base. The outer pawl has a generally horizontal locking surface that cooperates with a generally horizontal locking surface on the inner pawl to provide a cargo restraint device capable of resisting vibration and downward forces applied to the inner pawl to prevent inadvertent disengagement of the cargo restraint device. During an unlocking movement, foot pressure is applied generally downward upon the outer pawl to enable the inner pawl to rotate to an unlocked position. The foot pressure is then released from the outer pawl to enable the outer pawl to rotate to an unlatched position.

  • Patent number: 6422634
Abstract: The present invention is for standing boards that may be connected to buggies or prams which do not have a rear wheel shaft or otherwise are so designed that connecting of the standing board to the rear shaft is not always suitable. The standing board has a board, wheels at the rear end of the board, and mounting arms which connect the standing board to the buggy. The mounting arms are so designed that there is free space for the wheels of the buggy, possible breaking means etc., thus the mounting arms are curved so that they extend forwards and upwards from the board. The mounting of the arms at the standing board is such that the arms may take one out of several distinct positions relative to the board and when in use are fixedly arranged relative to the board. For this purpose the arms are fixed into bushings which in turn are fixed into mounting parts which preferably are integrated parts of the board of the standing board.

  • Patent number: 6422642
Abstract: A vehicle pick-up bed is disclosed that can be folded into shape by hand. The pick-up bed includes a generally flat sheet of colored material molded together with a generally flat sheet of reinforced polymeric material. Preferably, the sheet of colored material is placed in the mold and the reinforced polymeric material is injected into the mold, onto the back of the colored sheet. During the molding process, the reinforced polymeric material and the colored material are formed or molded into a single, generally flat, solid component. The sheet of colored material adheres to the reinforced polymeric material. Once molded, the sides of the pick-up bed are folded into shape along hinge edges and connected to stay in place. Hinge edges could be formed by locating few or no reinforcing fibers in the reinforced polymeric material in the desired location of the hinge edges. The colored material is preferably a paintless polymer film. Alternatively, the colored material is pre-painted aluminum.
