  • Patent number: 11559593
Abstract: The present device provides a safe, effective means of mobile ultraviolet (UV) disinfection. A control board within the main body of the device receives data from sensors that may variously measure orientation and speed of the main body as it moves along various surfaces for disinfection. In response to such data, the control board may brighten, dim, or completely shut off UV light-emitting diodes (UVLEs), both to prevent over- and under-exposure of the materials being disinfected, and to prevent a user from unsafely using the device.

  • Patent number: 11555303
Abstract: A plumbing drain trap treatment mixture is disclosed. The mixture is poured into a plumbing drain trap to form a layer of the mixture that floats on top of the water in the trap. The mixture layer forms a boundary to prevent evaporation of the water from the trap, thereby maintaining the water in the trap to prevent sewer gas infiltration and pest infiltration to the building. The anti-pest and antimicrobial properties of the mixture may serve to further prevent migration of pests from the sewage drain beyond the trap through the plumbing trap and into the building and/or to protect the barrier itself from microbial infestation. A method of use of a treatment for a plumbing drain trap is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11554189
Abstract: The use of plasma to clean or sterilize items can be particularly advantageous for items that cannot be readily washed or cleaned by standard methods. The toxicity and complications generating sufficient plasma makes it hard to use for such purposes. The subject invention addresses the problem by generating a minimal amount of highly reactive plasma to sterilize an item. This is achieved by reducing the amount of space and ambient air around and within the item. In this way, the plasma generated fills only the required volume of the item to be cleaned and the plasm is directed at the object, not directed at or released into non-target areas.
