Abstract: An electronic device displays a chart in accordance with contents of a plurality of shelf regions of a data visualization interface. The chart includes visual marks representing a set of data. The electronic device generates a visual analytic object by applying a first analytic operation to the set of data represented by the visual marks, and displays the visual analytic object superimposed over the chart. The device detects user input to select the displayed visual analytic object and place an icon representing the visual analytic object onto a first shelf region of the plurality of shelf regions. In response to the user input, the electronic device updates content of the first shelf region to include an association with the first analytic operation corresponding to the visual analytic object.

Abstract: A computer system analyzes an input in a chat window of a first device, wherein the chat window corresponds to a first chat session with a user of a second device and a second chat session with a user of a third device. The computer system determines, based on the analyzing the input, whether the input corresponds to an information associated with the first chat session and an information associated with the second chat session. Based on determining that the input corresponds to the information associated with the first chat session and the information associated with the second chat session, the computer system transmits the input to the second device and the third device.

Abstract: Techniques for generating an auditory memory for an auditory event are described. An example technique includes obtaining a first audio content associated with an event in an environment. At least one attribute of the environment is determined, based on evaluating the first audio content. At least one emotional attribute associated with the event in the environment is determined, based on evaluating the first audio content. A second audio content is determined, based at least in part on the at least one attribute of the environment. A third audio content is determined, based at least in part on the at least one emotional attribute. An auditory memory including fourth audio content associated with the event in the environment is generated, based on the first audio content, the second audio content, and the third audio content.

Abstract: A computing device (e.g., a server, a cloud-based device, a network device, an item analysis device, etc.) may receive location information indicating a geographic location of a user device and image data captured by the user device of a listing (e.g., a menu, an event ticket, a content source, etc.) for a selectable item. The computing device may determine an entity offering the selectable item based on the location information. An intent indicator for the selectable item may be determined based on the entity and the information for the selectable item. An instruction to the user device may cause modification of the image data to indicate the intent indicator based on the intent indicator satisfying an intent threshold that defines a level at which an intent is classified as a positive intent.

In response to receiving the first user input, the device selects a first visualization type of a data visualization, for visualizing a portion of the dataset based on the first data type, and displays the data visualization. The device receives, via the graphical user interface, a second user input specifying a second data field of the dataset. The second data field is distinct from the first data field and has a second data type. In response to receiving the second user input, the device selects a second visualization type based at least in part on the first data type and the second data type, and displays an updated data visualization, having the second visualization type, in the graphical user interface.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to management of presentation content including technical instances where presentation content interacts with live feeds. The scope of the present disclosure covers technical examples that pertain to creation/design of presentation content as well technical examples where presentation content is presented in real-time (or near real-time). Design solutions are provided enabling users to easily interject a representation of a live camera feed into presentation content. For example, an editable GUI object is presented enabling users to incorporate a representation of a live camera feed into slide-based presentation content. The present disclosure further provides processing that fosters dynamic management of presentation content including interactions with live camera feeds during a presentation. Furthermore, an improved GUI presents GUI elements and notifications to aid management of representations of live camera feeds relative to presentation content.

The systems and methods include operations for: displaying, by a messaging application of a user device, a menu comprising a first set of options relating to a first level in a hierarchy of levels; detecting, by a touch sensor, one finger touch of a first option of the first set of options; in response to detecting the one finger touch of the first option, displaying, by the messaging application, a second set of options related to the first option, the second set of options relating to a second level in the hierarchy of levels; detecting, by the touch sensor, two finger touch of a second option of the second set of options; and in response to detecting the two finger touch of the second option, re-displaying, by the messaging application, the first set of options.

Abstract: A method for sharing a console variable setting of an application is applied to a plurality of electronic devices. The sharing method includes: generating, by a first electronic device, a meta file, where the meta file has setting parameters for a plurality of first setting options of a first application of the first electronic device; transforming, by the first electronic device, the meta file into a set coding image; and displaying, by the first electronic device, a display frame with the set coding image. Therefore, a second electronic device can automatically adjust setting parameters for a plurality of second setting options of a second application into setting parameters the same as those of the first application by capturing the set coding image in the display frame.

Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a novel responsive layout that allows the user to build one layout that can fit on all or virtually all device form factors according to some embodiments. In some embodiments, the responsive layout is configured to allow users to arrange their content based on the size and shape of a display. In some embodiments, the system is configured to receive a request to access content through a computer and in response to the request, automatically generate a responsive layout based on a display size and a content of the request. The research tools may include components to iteratively perform steps in a research process, including searching, analyzing, connecting, aggregating, synthesizing, and chaining together evidence from a diverse set of knowledge sources. The system may receive an input query and perform a semantic search for key concepts in a text corpus. A semantic parser may interpret the search results. The system may aggregate and synthesize information from interpreted results. The system may rank and score the aggregated results data and present data on the user interface. The user interface may include prompts to iteratively guide user input to explore evidentiary chains and connect research concepts to produce research results annotated by evidence passages.

Abstract: Systems and methods develop a natural language interface. Conversational data including user utterances is received for a plurality of conversations from a natural language interface. Each of the conversations is classified to determine intents for each user utterance, and for each of the conversations, a control flow diagram showing the intents and sequential flow of the conversation is generated. Each of the control flow diagrams is processed to generate a graph embedding representative of the conversation. A previous conversation that is similar to the current conversation is identified from a previous graph embedding that is nearest to a current graph embedding of a most recent utterance in a current conversation. A previous outcome of the previous conversation is used to predict an outcome of the current conversation, which, when not positive, may control response outputs of the natural language interface to steer the current conversation towards a positive result.
