Abstract: A method for recommending feed sources in an event feed includes generating an event feed comprising a plurality of feed items associated with a user. The event feed includes a recommendation feed item comprising one or more feed item sources not being followed by the user. The method further includes causing at least a portion of the event feed to be displayed to the user in the event feed. In accordance with a determination that the user is viewing a graphical user interface associated with a first software application, the recommendation feed item includes feed item sources associated with the first software application. In accordance with a determination that the user is viewing a graphical user interface associated with a second software application different from the first, the recommendation feed item includes feed item sources associated with the second software application.

A controller obtains an adjusted variable cost by adjusting a variable cost using a priority adjustment value set higher as a priority for arriving more quickly at a destination decreases, determines a link cost for each link in a candidate route, which is a candidate for a set route for a setting vehicle, based on the adjusted variable cost and the reference cost, obtains a route cost for each candidate route based on the link costs, and sets the set route based on the route costs of the candidate routes.

The method includes traversing a graph data structure based on a user profile for a user operating a device, the graph data structure including a plurality of nodes, each node of the plurality of nodes associated with at least one of a logical statement and an audible output, presenting at least one audible output to the user based on at least one node of the graph data structure, receiving a gesture input from the user through the device in response to the at least one audible output, determining a next node of the graph data structure from at least two different nodes connected to the at least one node, and presenting at least one further audible output to the user based on the next node of the graph data structure.

Abstract: Systems and methods of text editing are disclosed. A system may include a touchscreen, a memory, and a processor. A method may include receiving, from an electronic pen in communication with the processor, pressure signals indicating a detection of a first amount of pressure at a pen tip. In response to receiving the pressure signals, handwriting recognition may be activated. Touch input representing handwriting a first location of the touchscreen may then be received, and the touch input may then be converted into rendered textual content corresponding to the handwriting.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein may provide a method for identifying the location of a hazard, evaluating how long that hazard is likely to be present at the location, and providing an indication of the time to live of the hazard. Methods may include: receiving an indication of a hazard event, where the hazard event includes a timestamp and a location; map matching the location of the hazard event to a map-matched road segment; determining a time to live of the hazard event based, at least in part, on the timestamp and the map-matched road segment; providing an indication of the time to live of the hazard event as at least one of a database entry or a map user interface element; and providing for at least one of route guidance or navigational assistance based, at least in part, on the time to live of the hazard event.

Abstract: A system is provided for updating user interfaces of marine electronic devices. The system includes determining available devices and receiving user input to determine information such as fishing location, fishing style, fish type, and fishing depth. The system also includes determining a plurality of screen setups to present to a user based on the received user input and the determined available devices. The system then enables selection from among the plurality of screen setups by the user and causes the marine electronic device to operate according to the selected screen setup. The system may optimize settings based on the user input. Further, a system is provided for connecting an unconnected device to a marine electronic device. A system is also provided for communicating information about an unconnected device on a watercraft to a user.

Abstract: A set of levels of a game is displayed and a user selection of one of the levels detected. It is determined that the user is partaking in a fragment collection event, the fragment collection event defining a set of collection conditions, and that one of the collection conditions is satisfied. Fragments are assigned to the user, the fragments having no utility within a game environment, wherein only one collection condition can be satisfied per level selection. A fragment count is stored, where assigning the one or more fragments to the user comprises incrementing the fragment count associated with the user by a predefined amount associated with the satisfied collection condition. When the fragment count is equal to or greater than a threshold fragment count, the fragment count is decreased by an amount equal to the threshold fragment count and a utility object assigned to the user.

A third audio content is determined, based at least in part on the at least one emotional attribute. An auditory memory including fourth audio content associated with the event in the environment is generated, based on the first audio content, the second audio content, and the third audio content.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to management of presentation content including technical instances where presentation content interacts with live feeds. The scope of the present disclosure covers technical examples that pertain to creation/design of presentation content as well technical examples where presentation content is presented in real-time (or near real-time). Design solutions are provided enabling users to easily interject a representation of a live camera feed into presentation content. For example, an editable GUI object is presented enabling users to incorporate a representation of a live camera feed into slide-based presentation content. The present disclosure further provides processing that fosters dynamic management of presentation content including interactions with live camera feeds during a presentation. Furthermore, an improved GUI presents GUI elements and notifications to aid management of representations of live camera feeds relative to presentation content.

Abstract: A method for sharing a console variable setting of an application is applied to a plurality of electronic devices. The sharing method includes: generating, by a first electronic device, a meta file, where the meta file has setting parameters for a plurality of first setting options of a first application of the first electronic device; transforming, by the first electronic device, the meta file into a set coding image; and displaying, by the first electronic device, a display frame with the set coding image. Therefore, a second electronic device can automatically adjust setting parameters for a plurality of second setting options of a second application into setting parameters the same as those of the first application by capturing the set coding image in the display frame.

Abstract: An information processing device includes a storage storing handwritten data generated according to handwritten input to a sheet-like recording medium, in a first file corresponding to a first page and a second file corresponding to a second page, and a controller which determines whether or not to couple (combine) the first and second files based on a first identification result identifying a region of the first page in which the handwritten data has been written or a region of the first page in which the handwritten data has not been written and a second identification result identifying a region of the second page in which the handwritten data has been written or a region of the second page in which the handwritten data has not been written. In response to a determination to couple the first and second files, the controller controls coupling of the first and second files.

Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a novel responsive layout that allows the user to build one layout that can fit on all or virtually all device form factors according to some embodiments. In some embodiments, the responsive layout is configured to allow users to arrange their content based on the size and shape of a display. In some embodiments, the system is configured to receive a request to access content through a computer and in response to the request, automatically generate a responsive layout based on a display size and a content of the request. In some embodiments, the responsive layout includes a responsive layout editor pane configured to allow the user to customize the responsive layout as desired.
