  • Patent number: 10892981
Abstract: A method for routing packet traffic through a network comprising a plurality of network nodes supporting RSVP-TE protocol and Segment Routing protocol. Each of the two protocols is associated with a separate set of labels, the method comprises calculating (202) a path through the network; checking support (204) for both protocols at nodes along the calculated path and encoding (206) the calculated path as a set of Adjacency Segment Identifiers. The method also comprises optimising (208) a label stack of the calculated path by substituting more than one adjacency SIDs with a node SID if a partial path identified by the substituted adjacency SIDs equals a shortest path. If all nodes along the calculated path support label stack depth equal to or deeper than the optimised label stack (210) then segment routing is used to set up the path.

  • Patent number: 10841034
Abstract: A spread spectrum system is used for transmitting data to and from devices operable as sensors and actuators in a distributed system. Communication is made through a series of aggregation nodes in a branched hierarchical network. Each device and aggregation node has a respective spread spectrum code, and has a corresponding encoder/decoder in a central control system operating the same spread spectrum codes, the encoded data relating to the devices being aggregated over a shared channel. At each level in the hierarchy the aggregated signals to/from the next level are recoded. This allows the same codes to be re-used at different levels, and in different sub-branches in the same level, increasing the number of devices that can be served on one channel.

  • Patent number: 10841830
Abstract: A wireless device receives from a base station, message(s) indicating: a first SR resource corresponding to a first logical channel corresponding to first transmission duration(s) up to a first value; and a second SR resource corresponding to a second logical channel corresponding to second transmission duration(s) up to a second value. An SR is triggered in response to uplink resources not being available for transmission of a triggered BSR, where the triggered BSR is in response to uplink data becoming available for one of the first logical channel or the second logical channel. The SR is transmitted via an SR resource that corresponds to a logical channel that triggered the BSR. The base station receives an uplink grant for transmission of transport block(s) in a transmission duration that corresponds to the one of the first logical channel or the second logical channel.
