  • Patent number: 7398714
Abstract: A hand held, one touch jar opener can be placed on a jar and activated with a momentary touch of a button. An epicyclic gear train is set to sequentially provide a grip on a jar, and on a lid, followed by development of torque needed to move the lid in a counterclockwise direction with respect to the jar. The principles embodied in the opener shown can be realized in an opener which can be manually powered, or preferably motorized and possibly highly automated. A differential geartrain provides reduction of speed and increase in torque and then provides two balanced and opposing forces through the epicyclic gear assembly having sun and planet gears. This configuration enables a wide variety of screw-on lids and jars to be automatically closed to match the correct diameters, apply a gripping force and then apply torque in an opposing direction.

  • Patent number: 7383755
Abstract: A tool set includes two grips installed with a tool-mounting rod and a positioning member between. The tool-mounting rod is pivotally linked with plural tools. Each of the grips has a through hole for a projecting bar respectively projected at two ends of the positioning member. The positioning member has plural jags, slopes and restricting grooves. One of the projecting bars is mounted with a spring. In using, choose a tool and swing it up to lean on the slope, and then, press down the tool to move against the slope to enter the restricting groove. Then the spring is to elastically push the positioning member back to its original position, keeping the tool restricted in the restricting groove immovably for operating it safely.

  • Patent number: 7370559
Abstract: A pneumatically operated screw driver ensuring a complete return of a piston to its top dead center. The screw driver has a compressed air return chamber for returning the piston to its top dead center by applying a compressed air in the return chamber to the piston. The piston includes a main piston and an auxiliary piston. The main piston is first reaches its bottom dead center, and then the auxiliary piston reaches its bottom dead center whereupon screw driving is terminated. Before the auxiliary piston reaches its bottom dead center, and after the main piston moves past a predetermined position, a compressed air is introduced into the return chamber. After the main piston reaches the bottom dead center, application of the compressed air pressure in the return chamber to the auxiliary piston is prevented.
