Abstract: A cigarette packet (4) with a cross section of flattened oval profile is fashioned from a diecut blank (1) of essentially elongated rectangular outline referable to a longitudinal axis (16) and comprising, aligned along the axis (16), a central panel (17), two intermediate panels (18, 19) and two end panels (20, 21), each intermediate panel (18, 19) displaying a flattened oval outline and joined to the two contiguous panels (17, 20; 17, 21) along respective rectilinear borders (22) extending transversely to the longitudinal axis (16) and interconnected in pairs by way of respective arcuate borders (23) with no break in linear continuity. The central panel (17) and end panels (20, 21) each present a flat central longitudinal area (24) and two lateral longitudinal bands (25) rendered pliable and thus adaptable to the curvature described by the arcuate borders (23), which they are designed to meet when the packet (4) is erected.

Abstract: A carrying case for sporting equipment, particularly hockey sticks and accessories such as pucks includes a block-shaped body which has an upwardly protruding carrying handle, a first longitudinally disposed, vertical side of the body which has formed therein a pair of longitudinally disposed, vertically spaced apart troughs, and a first side lid hingedly fastened to a lower edge of the body, the side lid having formed in an inner surface thereof a pair of troughs shaped similarly to those in the body. Stacked pairs of hockey stick handles are placed in either the lid troughs or body troughs, with the lid pivoted outwardly from the body to an open position; with the lid pivoted to a closed position in contact with the body, the lid and body troughs confront one another to form a pair of closed, longitudinally disposed channels which retain the handles therewithin. The lid is held in a closed position in contact with the body by releasably engageable fastener elements located on the lid and body.

Abstract: An adjustable shipper display system includes a master shell having side walls with mounting positions. A plurality of tray-like shelves are supported at each end at the mounting positions. Fillers are insertable along the shelves to divide the shelves into compartment spaces and to provide dunnage where required. With minimum modification the shipper can be prepared for displaying articles to the consumer without requiring removal or other adjustment of the articles within the shipper.

Abstract: An apparatus for receiving a plurality of elongate vials, and a process for manufacturing the apparatus is disclosed. Each vial has a longitudinal length and an outer maximum diameter. The apparatus includes a single piece insert having a base wall with a plurality of integrally formed, parallel, elongate ridges extending outwardly therefrom in transversely spaced relationship with respect to one another to define a vial-receiving slot between each pair of adjacent ridges. The elongate ridges are spaced transversely from one another by a distance slightly less than the outer maximum diameter of each vial to be received therein permitting an interference press fit therebetween. The elongate ridges extend along a substantial portion of the longitudinal length of each vial to be received therein. A stop rib can be provided extending transversely adjacent one end of the plurality of ridges. At least one of the insert can be associated with a case.

Abstract: A display device for displaying an adjustable spanner comprises a display panel having at least one ratchet holes for receiving at least one polygonal cylinder; each polygonal cylinder serving for connecting a respective adjustable spanner; a cambered slot formed in the display panel; and a clip for clamping the adjustable spanner to a cambered slot so that the adjustable spanner moves along the ratchet hole with the ratchet hole being as a moving center. A description paper is adhered to the display panel. It is only necessary to move the adjustable spanner reciprocally, the polygonal cylinder can be tightened or released so that the spanner clamping the polygonal cylinder can be tested by buyers before buying the spanner.

Abstract: A package for a product and a method of packaging a product are disclosed. The product has a main body and a handle extending substantially transversely from the body. The package comprises a back panel and a front panel, the back panel and the front panel configured form an enclosure and surround at least a portion of the main body to secure the product in the enclosure such that the handle is exposed so that a user can grip the handle of the product.

Abstract: A multifold, pharmaceutical treatment blister card (10) suitable for dispensing unit dosages of a pharmaceutical composition (80). The multifold card (10) may be further characterized as a two layer card section containing blister cavities (22) there between, wherein a security strip (32) is located between the cavities and one of the layers, and wherein the security strip must be removed prior to dislodging the pharmaceutical composition from the card.

Abstract: The cardboard box for containing and dispensing large quantities of wire, especially metal wire for welding, comprises a cubic external container with an open top side, an octagonal-base internal container, fitting snugly into the external container and being destined to contain a coil of wire, and a bag-type wrapper made of a flexible airtight material, which is interposed between the external and the internal containers so as completely to cover the internal container and able to be closed and sealed there-upon.

Abstract: A medical record keeping system includes a housing that has a bottom wall and peripheral wall that is attached to and extends upwardly from the housing. A cover is hingedly coupled to an upper edge of the peripheral wall for selectively opening or closing the bottom wall. A panel has a first side, a second side, an upper edge, a lower edge, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. A fold line extends from the lower edge to the upper edge and is positioned between the first and second lateral edges. A pair of cavities extends into the first side and extends downward toward the lower edge. Each of a plurality of containers has an open upper end and each s is attached to an inner surface of the peripheral wall so that the upper ends of the container are directed upwardly.

Abstract: A carrying case assembly for a drilling tool and the method of interconnecting the carrying case with the drilling tool. The carrying case defines an internal area with a least one first vertical side. A press mechanism is attaches to the vertical side of the carrying case. The press mechanism includes a geared element, wherein said geared element partially extends through the first vertical side of the case. A guide bracket is provided that includes a sliding element, a section of gear rack and a drill mounting clamp. The sliding element engages the first vertical side of the case and enables the sliding element to reciprocally move along the first vertical side of the case. The section of gear rack engages the geared element. As such, when the geared element is rotated, the sliding element is caused to move.

Abstract: A goods protection device for the sale and/or rental distribution of information carrier discs, including CDs and DVDs, is disclosed. The goods protection device generally comprises a housing encasing a storage space. The housing is provided with a fastening unit consisting of a locking piece and another locking piece cooperating with it. The housing is constructed as a protecting envelope comprising a first protecting plate and a second protecting plate, at least part of the first protecting plate and the second protecting plate separated from each other by a space. The space has a maximum width of six times the width of the information carrier disc. Therefore, at least a part of the information carrier disc is temporarily accommodated within the space of the protecting envelope consisting of the first and second protecting plates.

Abstract: A piece of luggage has a closable case having an interior, a partition subdividing the interior into a gun compartment adapted to hold a gun and another compartment adapted to hold personal items. The gun is secured in place in the gun compartment. The case is elongated and has a long edge formed with an opening giving access to the other personal-item compartment and a short end formed with an opening giving access to the gun compartment. The partition extends longitudinally in the case. Alternately the case is formed by a pair of hard shells and the partition carrying the gun is pivoted between them.

Abstract: A shock absorber designed for insertion within a container. The shock absorber presents a support surface on one side intended to contact the surface of one or more items contained within the container, and a spring side including compression elements, in contact with an interior surface of the container, intended to urge the support surface into contact with the items contained within the container. Use of the Shock absorber of the invention may eliminate the need for foam inserts or cushions, which can greatly reduce outgassing of anions or cations generally associated with foam. The container and shock absorber may be suitable for reuse and recycling.

At least one housing member defines a cavity for receiving tools. The cavity is defined by a base and a wall extending from the base. At least one of the wall and the base include a plurality of first retaining features. The insert is operable to retain at least one tool. The insert has a surface with a plurality of second retaining features operable to cooperate with the first retaining features to secure the insert at one of a variety of positions within the housing members. The insert includes an elastomeric portion operable to engage and retain the tool.

The container comprises an assembly including a housing and at least one cooperating slide member received by the housing. At least one receptacle is provided in the assembly for receiving the product, and a pair of finger openings is formed in the assembly through which two fingers of the same hand can be inserted. The finger openings are configured and arranged to allow the finger movements of a single hand to move the assembly between a closed storage position in which the receptacle is covered and an open position in which the receptacle is exposed to permit application of the product.

The carrier includes a base panel and first and second side panels.
