    Abstract: A cigarette packet (4) with a cross section of flattened oval profile is fashioned from a diecut blank (1) of essentially elongated rectangular outline referable to a longitudinal axis (16) and comprising, aligned along the axis (16), a central panel (17), two intermediate panels (18, 19) and two end panels (20, 21), each intermediate panel (18, 19) displaying a flattened oval outline and joined to the two contiguous panels (17, 20; 17, 21) along respective rectilinear borders (22) extending transversely to the longitudinal axis (16) and interconnected in pairs by way of respective arcuate borders (23) with no break in linear continuity. The central panel (17) and end panels (20, 21) each present a flat central longitudinal area (24) and two lateral longitudinal bands (25) rendered pliable and thus adaptable to the curvature described by the arcuate borders (23), which they are designed to meet when the packet (4) is erected.

    Abstract: A carrying case for sporting equipment, particularly hockey sticks and accessories such as pucks includes a block-shaped body which has an upwardly protruding carrying handle, a first longitudinally disposed, vertical side of the body which has formed therein a pair of longitudinally disposed, vertically spaced apart troughs, and a first side lid hingedly fastened to a lower edge of the body, the side lid having formed in an inner surface thereof a pair of troughs shaped similarly to those in the body. Stacked pairs of hockey stick handles are placed in either the lid troughs or body troughs, with the lid pivoted outwardly from the body to an open position; with the lid pivoted to a closed position in contact with the body, the lid and body troughs confront one another to form a pair of closed, longitudinally disposed channels which retain the handles therewithin. The lid is held in a closed position in contact with the body by releasably engageable fastener elements located on the lid and body.

    Abstract: An apparatus for receiving a plurality of elongate vials, and a process for manufacturing the apparatus is disclosed. Each vial has a longitudinal length and an outer maximum diameter. The apparatus includes a single piece insert having a base wall with a plurality of integrally formed, parallel, elongate ridges extending outwardly therefrom in transversely spaced relationship with respect to one another to define a vial-receiving slot between each pair of adjacent ridges. The elongate ridges are spaced transversely from one another by a distance slightly less than the outer maximum diameter of each vial to be received therein permitting an interference press fit therebetween. The elongate ridges extend along a substantial portion of the longitudinal length of each vial to be received therein. A stop rib can be provided extending transversely adjacent one end of the plurality of ridges. At least one of the insert can be associated with a case.

A description paper is adhered to the display panel. It is only necessary to move the adjustable spanner reciprocally, the polygonal cylinder can be tightened or released so that the spanner clamping the polygonal cylinder can be tested by buyers before buying the spanner.
