These steps are performed by the mobile communication device.

Abstract: The user of a mobile station which is prepared to receive information providing services from unspecified IP (Information Providers) accesses a gateway server and performs a pre-registration procedure (S71). When an IP server has information to provide to users, it constructs the information in the form of electronic mail, appends user attribute data, and sends this to the gateway server (S72). Upon receiving electronic mail with attribute data, the gateway server stores the electronic mail in a third mailbox, makes a comparison of the user attributes, and calls the mobile stations of relevant users (S73). A user who has received a call requests a download of the electronic mail from the gateway server (S74). The gateway server sends electronic mail to the mobile station which made the request (S75, S76).

Abstract: Methods, systems, and machine-readable mediums are disclosed for providing resource interface descriptions with policy parameters. In one embodiment, a method comprises intercepting, at a framework, a request for a resource interface description. The resource interface description is obtained at the framework and at least one policy associated with the resource is determined. For each of the determined policies, one or more policy parameters associated with the policy are determined.

Abstract: A computing device may be joined to a cluster by discovering the device, determining whether the device is eligible to join the cluster, configuring the device, and assigning the device a cluster role. A device may be assigned to act as a cluster master, backup master, active device, standby device, or another role. The cluster master may be configured to assign tasks, such as network flow processing to the cluster devices. The cluster master and backup master may maintain global, run-time synchronization data pertaining to each of the network flows, shared resources, cluster configuration, and the like. The devices within the cluster may monitor one another. Monitoring may include transmitting status messages comprising indicators of device health to the other devices in the cluster. In the event a device satisfies failover conditions, a failover operation to replace the device with another standby device, may be performed.

Abstract: A system is provided for detecting unsolicited bulk email (spam). A list server receives email from various senders as well as queries regarding the senders. A database is used for storing information corresponding to the amount of unsolicited bulk email received at the spamtrap addresses. The list server dynamically makes a determination as to which senders are transmitting a disproportionate amount of email and should be labeled as spammers. The determinations made by the list server are based on the amount of unsolicited bulk email received from senders relative to the total amount of email transmitted by senders.

Abstract: A method and system for discovering, defining, and implementing an application topology through the user of a graphical user interface is provided. A topology system may analyze the topology of an enterprise and provide a graphical representation of the application topology. The topology system may discover the application topology of an enterprise by accessing various configuration data stores of the enterprise. The topology system provides a graphical representation of the application topology and allows a user to modify the topology using a graphical user interface. The topology system may then control the implementation of the application topology.

Abstract: A multimedia data streaming system and a method thereof transmit multimedia data to a receiver by a streaming server through a dynamic streaming process. The multimedia data streaming system includes a converting module and a scheduler module. The scheduler module is used to obtain the bandwidth condition between the streaming server and the receiver dynamically. The scheduler module can request the converting module to convert the original data into streaming pieces with the optimal bit rates in accordance with the bandwidth condition detected. The streaming pieces can be transmitted to the receiver by the streaming server.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for synchronizing copies of a shared file used by different communication session participants is presented. A shared file that is used by a first communication session participant and a second communication session participant is identified. The first and second communication participants each use a separate copy of the shared file. In response to detecting a communication session between the first and second communication session participants, the separate copies of the shared file are automatically synchronized.

Abstract: A novel system, method and computer program product for accessing digital media files stored in a media storage device via a server device in communication with the media storage device. There is provided a tool for allowing multiple non-linear editing systems to safely open up and work from and collaborate on the same “Project”. The tool manages ownership and permissions over different editors' contributions to shared Projects and implements “symbolic links” to create a virtual file and folder structure that creates an “optimized view” of the Project for each editor, that keeps work organized so that it is clear which editor is editing what and that allows each editor to maintain his/her own settings for the Project.
